Very comprehensive guide to Taeguk 1-8, with an additional breakdown of other color-belt curriculum. Includes full-color photos and explanations of each step as well as the floor layouts. I only wish it was available in paperback rather than just digital form.
and teaches the style Master Mun Do Sik taught me in Osan, Korea in 1995-1996. finally happy to see a complete beginners course just the way I learned it...
This book serves as a nice little reference for Tae Kwon Do forms. included is a glossary of Korean terms, and diagrams of the poomsaes as well as descriptive pictures for each move. It is a nice little handbook for students to see things in a different way and help memorize. The form patterning helps a lot for picking up on movements.
unfortunately the book only serves as a basic handbook, since only the basics are presented there is no analysis of the culture, history, etc.
