Հայ մեծանուն գրող Հովհաննես Թումանյանի պոեմներից։ Պոմեի առաջին տարբերակը գրվել է 1890 թ.։ Բայց հետո՝ մի ամբողջ տասնամյակ, բանաստեղծը կրկին ու կրկին մտովի անդրադառնում էր «Անուշին»՝ ձգտելով բյուրեղացնել երկը, հասցնել գեղարվեստական ներդաշնակության ու կատարելության։

Anoush is a tragic epic poem by the famous Armenian author and poet, Hovhannes Toumanian and recounts the tragic love story of Anoush and Saro.
Ա՜խ, սիրտըս, նանի՛, չըգիտեմ ընչի,
Մին լաց է լինում սևակնա՜ծ, տըխո՜ւր,
Մին թև է առնում, ուզում է թըռչի,
Չըգիտևմ՝ թե ո՜ւր, չըգիտեմ՝ թե ուր…
(Oh, mama, I do not know why,
My heart is crying, darkened and bitter,
It wants to take wings and fly,
I do not know where, I do not know where...)
*Translated by me. I am sure there is a much better translation out there :)
