Original and multi-faceted figure, he is the founder of the International Institute of Bio-psychosynthesis, of developmental psychology and developmental psychotherapy.
He has also conducted research for the CNR (National Research Council) and has taught humanistic psychology at the University of the Americas, California, and at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Genoa.

After publishing several academic works, he moved on to writing essays on psychology. Among his other bestsellers, Alla ricerca delle coccole perdute (In Search of Lost Cuddles) and Come diventare un buddha in cinque settimane (How to Become a Buddha in Five Weeks). His last book, Vademecum antistress (Antistress Handbook), was published by ROI Edizioni.
