Fun fast paced smut
Well this was super spicy! Gwen is invited to a prestigious sorority party where it seems people get to experience letting themselves be free whilst also competing in games for money. However it appears this game may have been rigged for our MMCs to get who they wanted…and thoroughly enjoy a night of letting go with their girl.
What worked
• Although a short standalone Gwen did have some depth to her and it was interesting how with the plot that there was this was linked back in to the overall story
• The spiciness in this was definitely up there - each guy got to demonstrate their own unique heat as well as great group scenes! Plus the guys are definitely orally grey an own the whole ‘don’t touch her’ ‘she’s mine/ours’ vibe :D
What didn't
• Not necessarily a didn’t work but as it is a novella with the focus being smut over plot, theres not a huge depth - for instance other than Thorne don’t get full insight into why these guys chose Gwen or how they found out her past etc. But aslong as manage expectations of what this novella delivers you will enjoy!

This quick read starts fast and keeps the energy level high. The premise is that a shy, nerdy girl is invited to an exclusive masquerade party (complete with NDAs). Not entirely sure of all of the backstory to this book, but I fully enjoyed it!
Gwen apparently has caught the eye of not one, but three alpha type college men. She is escorted through various games with each of them, culminating in a group activity that will make you sweat!
This is full on spice, so if you are looking for a in depth, academic book, this is not the one!

Reverse harem, why choose romance.
This novella packed quite the story in not a lot of pages. The spice was spicing, but I also enjoyed the plot. I didn't expect the plot to be driven by past trauma for Gwen. I loved that Rowan, Silas and Thorne had Gwen's back in all ways. Being that this was a novella, I did feel like some questions went unanswered like why Gwen? I heard Thorne's reason, but what about Rowan and Silas. I would have liked this book to be a little longer, to have more depth, but other than that, good luck spicy read.

The spice started early and honestly, I have no idea how J. Wilder managed to pack so much smutty goodness into so few pages. I was here for EVERY moment of it. 🌶️🥵💦
It’s NSFW from the first chapter, and steadily continued to climax throughout. If you thought the solo sessions were hot, just WAIT for the group scenes. They are absolutely scandalous and will have you clutching your pearls in the best way. 🥵
I loved the characters, I loved the spooky circus-meets-sex-party feel, but the overall plot? Absolutely optional. I felt the revenge storyline was a bit too ambitious for such a short book and could have benefited from a bit more exploration. That being said, I am VERY glad the spice wasn’t cut short to make room for it!
Thank you, J Wilder, for not skimping on the smut and bringing the ‘clit’ back to cliterature. 🥵🥵🥵

I’m not really sure what I was expecting going into this book, but unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed.
I usually LOVE J. Wilder’s books, so even though I knew this was going to be a short read, I was still hoping I’d enjoy it as much as her other books. Sadly, this one just didn’t do it for me.
There really wasn’t much of a plot. The FMC basically shows up to some sort of party, and before I knew it, she was going into tents with the three popular guys. 😂 Everything happened so quickly that I felt like I missed a chapter somewhere. The story just didn’t flow very well for me, and I never really got invested in the characters or what was happening.
Now, I will give credit where credit is due—the spice was GOOD. 🌶️😂 But personally, I need a little plot with my spice. Give me something to get invested in between the spicy scenes!

This novella could have easily been a full length book and I would have devoured it just as quickly! Our FMC, Gwen, spent the night finding her confidence with the three MMCs. Throughout the night, we discover little clues about why Gwen became so shut off from the rest of the world so I loved seeing her take back her power. The three MMCs, Ronan, Thorne and Silas have been watching Gwen closely and decided she needs to find herself again. Swoon.
Also, can’t say I didn’t agree with Thorne when we learned the truth, things should have been cut off.
Altogether, a fun, spicy short read! Thank you to the author and publisher for this great ARC!

That is exactly what this short spicy novella delivered. It my look as insta love and straight to smut but is not. They knew her, they wanted her but waited for the perfect time to get her. I loved all three men, Thorne, Silas, and Ronan, and the way they supported her and helped her get out of her head. Gwen is one lucky woman 😉. I enjoyed everything about this book and was exactly what I needed. The spice was spicy and I was there for it.

This was just smut, a sprinkle of mystery, and then more smut and I loved that. This was fun, fast faced, super bingeable (I read it in one sitting), and just a good time. There’s not a ton of character development or emotion but it’s not supposed to have all of that. It reminded me of the heathen initiations from the Legacy of Gods series which I loved and I had so much fun with this.

This was such a great story! I devoured it in just an hour and loved every second of it! It was a fast-burn, super spicy novella, and the protectiveness of the three Campus Kings was unmatched. The way they cared for Gwen and helped her see the truth about her past and made others see it too was so good! I absolutely loved the revenge!

Gwen, Silas, Ronan, and Thorne brought all the spice, tension, and morally gray energy! 🔥 I loved the why-choose setup, the protective “touch her and die” vibes, and the revenge storyline. It’s a super quick read with a fast burn and plenty of heat, perfect when you want something short, spicy, and entertaining. I would’ve loved a little more time with the characters, but overall, this was a fun read!

The blurb to this sounded fun and I’m not sure if I just wasn’t in the mood but I had a hard time connecting to this story. It’s short and spicy but I just feel like I’ve read a version of this a few times now unfortunately. If your in the mood for a fast and spicy book though this could be a good little palette cleanser for you!

ARC REVIEW: I had a wonderful time with Gwen, Ronan, Thorne, + Silas in this smutty spooky season novella! Jessa has such a talent for writing why choose (no ⚔️). I know everyone is going to be on board/the same page, which is greatly appreciated. And of course there’s lots of 🍑 play going on. If you enjoy why choose/DP/DVP, then I highly recommend this spicy palette cleanser.

What a completely phenomenal book! It was such a great, quick read.
Even as a novella that has some hidden backstories, you can so easily tell how these three men feel for Gwen. It’s so well written and truly makes me wish it wasn’t just a novella and we got to experience so much more of them all.
You definitely need this book in your life.

While a shorter story, this one had some teeth! I felt like I got a decent snapshot into the FMC and really enjoyed the premise and the SPICE WAS SPICING! A perfect little spooky season read, and really…girl is living the dream. A revenge plot, 3 MMC who are INVESTED in her…yeah. I just need more!

This is my second book by the author. It is a short steamy read that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. For such a short book, the story was very well developed. I liked it since it was not quite an instalove. The guys knew where things were going and Gwen had to catch up. Well written with great characters and lots of good steam.

Jessa is great at writing captivating characters, weaving intrigue, and pulling you into a story. She’s also great at writing bing bang boom fast burn novellas!
Even though it was a most spice-based novella, there was still enough plot to keep things moving. Honestly, I want this turned into a full length book! I have so many questions and want to know the characters more!

I loved this! It's Gwen & her guys story & it was a good one! She went through a lot a while back & a lot of people turned on her. When she gets an invitation to a party; she decides it'll be a good time. The guys all have a strong attraction to her, but these parties are exclusive & the attendees have to play games. The spice was fantastic & I loved the story; justice was served!
