This guide is written for beginners, newbies, novices or those who’ve been away from guns for an extended period. If you are not in that list, this may not be the book for you. The idea here being to help with the safe selection, acquisition, handling, firing, maintaining, cleaning, storing and carrying-for-personal-protection of one or more handguns. Ammunition selection and acquisition are also discussed.
KRB. has penned a professional's outlook on gun safety. This book is definitely for the beginner and not a highly trained professional, unless they seem it necessary to go over the pertinent details once a year. My preference for home defense is a Beneli M3. With 18 inch. barrel this is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
Enjoyed the book for straight talk and advice to new shooters. Most of the advice would apply to rifles also so I’m confused by the title. Disappointed that there were no talk to basic pistol shooting, stance, grip, trigger control and sight picture.
