It happened in a moment. In the heat of passion. Now Tasha must face the world and the consequences of her actions alone when her baby’s father goes missing and no one knows if he will return. She’s been down this road before, left to pick up the pieces by a man with a dangerous career. But that didn’t feel like this. This is worse. So much worse. Because now she has a baby to consider and she doesn’t know how she’ll be able to go it alone when she can no longer feel God’s love.
...AND HE IS FORCED TO BATTLE HIS WAY HOME...
Owen Redd did a lot of praying while being held captive. Bargaining, pleading. Promising God to do better, be better. But when his prayers are answered and he returns to Stone River, he finds everything has changed, including the woman he loves who now wants nothing to do with him or his occupation as a security specialist.
...THEY STRUGGLE TO RECONNECT UNTIL THEY LET GO--AND LET GOD.

This was another very short book. When Owen shows up, he has lost a lot of weight, dirty, and covered in bruises Tasha isn't sure he is real. She gets him cleaned up and lets him sleep for 24 hours, but when he wakes up then he has a lot of explaining to do. Tasha for months feared he was dead, and after losing her fiance to his job she isn't willing to do it again with Owen.
Owen loves his job and what he does, security work has its risks but he is careful. Until he took on trying to find out what happened to his sister's ex-boyfriend. He wants to try and find away to get Tasha to trust him again.
Good story, I liked them together, but again too short, not a lot of back story and scenarios that push them to make a decision.
A wonderful story! Owen had been missing 3 months. Tasha has been worried yet feels he is still alive. It is Christmas time and she feels the out person out when she is with her besties and their men. Owen is waiting when she gets home. He is in bad shape from being held a prisoner by a drug lord. She pushes him away afraid of dealing with losing him, but Owen is not ready to say goodbye.
I have just completed the last book in this series and I have to say I give every single one of the books 5 stars, really loved this and would definitely recommend. Great stories, I think I've found myself a favourite author.
This book is a clean romance. I have really enjoyed reading this series and I can't wait for the next one. This is a short book so it can be read in one evening.
I enjoyed reading, Owen's Return. Owen who disappeared for 3 months, appeared in Tasha's home, beaten up, half starved and all bruised, with an infected bullet hole in his arm. Tasha,a vet, sick with pregnancy, trying to help Owen, while being angry with him.
Owen and Tasha's story. It was really great to find out what had happened to Owen. This book also had updates of the other characters from the earlier novels.
