Viking Warrior travels through the mists of time, and finds himself forced to be an unpaid servant to a pair of ungrateful hotel managers. This description makes it sound like I did not like this book, that is not true, as a child I loved this book - but it’s surprising what an adult perspective brings to the story.

A highly amusing trio of stories about Siggurd (Siggy) the Viking who finds himself in modern day Britain. I enjoyed the first two books the most, and felt that the third story was a little weak in my opinion.

I rather enjoyed these stories and think they would suit younger children as it is a very funny book with very simple vocabulary.

Ця книга про готель Вікінг, в якому жили господарі з своїми дітьми. Якось до них прийшла одна тітонька, яка хотіла зупинитися в готелі. Вона хотіла відпочити у номері, але побачила справжнього вікінга. Так він і залишився в готелі. Мені книга сподобалася.

There's A Viking In My Bed is about a woman that wakes up to find that a scary Viking is sleeping in her bed. The woman lives in a seaside hotel and when the woman calls for help the townspeople come to see the scary Viking. Mean while he has hidden in the closet. When the townspeople cannot find the Viking, chaos reigns and life in the seaside hotel will never be the same.

I liked the book because the author used good descriptive words to paint a picture of the viking and other characters in the story. Also, Iceland's history is full of Vikings and their lore. Now that I am in Iceland, I am intersted in vikings. This story is not a historical account of the vikings but a humorous interprettion of what a viking might do if he were in modern times.

Other readers searching for an entertaining story about vikings in our modern world would like this book.
