Easy granny square ideas
This little book is a good compilation of granny square patterns that offer good starting ideas for crocheting projects. It gives you the basic pattern and from there you can let your creativity fly. Projects range from very easy to intermediate. I don't give 5 starts because I particularly like to have the "map" of the pattern, not only reading the instructions.

A very good reference book for the craft. The kids love looking at how their square is going to turn out. Also good for my adult ladies.

There are a lot of good granny square patterns. There are several that I will use. I especially liked the peace pattern.

No patterns, waste of time
I downloaded this book expecting to find some new granny square ideas and patterns. While it had some nice granny squares, it had no patterns and some of the squares didn't even have pictures! How am I supposed to even look up the pattern on my own without a picture to know what you're talking about? This book was a frustrating waste of time and the writing was so awkward that I had trouble reading it. Would give 0 stars if I could. Don't waste your time. If this hasn't been free I would be furious for downloading it.

Such a disappointment!
I downloaded two of these guides by the author and neither of them have any patterns for the projects shown. In fact, it's just a bunch of wasted time I've invested when there's hundreds of other amazing pattern books to be looked at and saved. There's no 'how to' in this book at all. I'll be steering clear of this author's books in the future.
