Their Happily Ever After is starting to have some kinks in it. When Sydney and Dean revealed their relationship to the world, not everyone welcomed them. Questions arose with how focused Dean was about his season and Sydney had to deal with the notoriety that came with being an athlete’s girlfriend. With players from the opposing sides making big plays – Rebecca and Roman – the couple are facing new challenges to their whirlwind romance.Since Rebecca is pretending to be the mysterious artist, she has to come up with clever ways to keep up her lie while trying to locate the artist in question to work out a deal and get Dean back into her arms (and bed). Meanwhile, Roman is making a big play to Sydney and prove to her the past is just that. The only problem standing in his way is one Dean Winchester. Can Rebecca keep up her charade for very long? Will Roman convince Sydney that her heart is really in San Francisco?Face-off is the last book in the Breakaway series - a New Adult trilogy romance deals with long-distance relationships, trust, and finding yourself again.
So I have you all, is it over or what? There were so many areas left undone. What started off as a steamy Romance sorry had turned into, " As the World Turns! "
Great read! So need a book 4, didn't feel complete to me. We all should have friends as awesome and real as Sarah. She was always painfully honest with Sydney and that was so refreshing. Lord how loved Dean...sexy as hell. Seriously Ms Roberts, there needs to be a series 4 to wrap things up with Sydney and Dean.
A bit disappointed, this could have been much more
The story is lovely but I felt a bit disappointed in the last book I expected a lot more, there was so much potential there it just felt a bit flat, to me. Nevertheless, if you like quick easy to read stories this will do.
