The Executioner's Ax: A Light, Ghostly, Short Romance Story

‘When comes a day that no male of the Dupois line walks the Earth, the ax will become a living instrument of evil through whomever it possesses.’ Thus began a curse which - more than 200 years later - would drastically impact CJ's life.
Blessed with an athletic talent to accurately throw knives and axes at stationary targets, 25-year-old CJ Dupois will be the first owner of the sword who is not a direct male descendant of the Royal Executioner. Will the cursed ax destroy her? Or will she be given a way out?
This short story is the first by AJ Coonley that is NOT a part of his 'Unforeseen Circumstances' series. It is not a typical horror story. There is a ghost, but his bark is worse than his bite. AJ hates to admit it, but this is closer to being a romance than a horror story.
