R.K. Dick Williams is an Idaho residence who is the author of two books: Notes From the Cockpit: A Mountain Pilot's Perspective and Aged in Saltwater. Williams has been flying since 1973, exploring Idaho's backcountry with his son. He also spends his time white water rafting, skiing, and traveling.
Some fun stories, and some amazing adventures. This is a good book for pilots and non-pilots alike. There are some awkward writing styles mixed up together, but overall it is easy to get past that since the stories are so engaging. The author has lead a colorful life for sure and many of the people in the stories seem larger than life!
Terrific! Read this right after spending a couple days mountain training with Dick earlier that Fall in September. He is a terrific pilot and a great dude.
