Dawn Garrett has been on the run from her past since the day she turned eighteen. A new name, a new life, and a new love have kept her safe from the one man who will stop at nothing to get her back.
Together with Jase Byrnes, Dawn has stood up against werewolves, witches, vampires, and so much more. She’s learned to be a hunter and with Jase by her side, she’s finally found the strength she’s been looking for.
But the man she’s spent so long running from is hot on her trail and Dawn is out of places to hide. She’ll need to stand and face him, but she’s trapped in his playground and he’s got more tricks up his sleeve than she ever thought possible.
Worst fear coming to for Dawn On their way back from London Dawn has a vivid nightmare or is it a premonition or some other force controlling her mind Then when she believes she will get to avoid New York a freak snow storm diverts their plane right to the city she swore she would never return to. Dawn and Jase are stuck without proper clothing and find out the storm doesn’t seem natural. They starts to believe someone or thing is causing it to keep them there. But not all is as it seems right down to the fact that there are vampires showing up in the city where for the longest time none would venture into that city for some unknown reason. All the havoc being caused seems to be right near where Jase and Dawn are staying. There’s more going on than meets the eyes and Dawn greatest fear is that her Step-father is the cause of it all. This is the fourth book of a series and yet stills a self-contained story that is well written and very entertaining to read.
I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Helena Shaw. This is book 4 of the Night Hunters series by the author.
Dawn Garrett left home when she was 18, changing her name and her life to get away from her step-father. Together with her partner,Jase Byrnes, they deal with all kinds of paranormal things. But it seems like her step-father is closer to finding her then she thinks and is making her life a living hell again. Can Dawn and Jase get to where she is safe from the madman or will he gain control over her once and for all.
This series just keeps getting better and better and this book is no exception. There is more twists and turns in this story line. I love the characters interaction in this story and the flow of the story is very smooth.
This is for any paranormal romance book lover. The books should be read in order because where 1 stops the next book starts.
Dawn and Jase are on their way back from London when a freak snow storm drives them towards New York, the one place that Dawn never wanted to return to because her crazy stepfather lived there. Her stepfather was obsessed with her and he doesn't want to let her go again. Will she get away?
This is the first book I have read by Helena Shaw and I will definitely be add her to my "must-read" pile. This is the fourth book in the series but it wasn't hard to follow along with the story line and I really liked the peek of the other characters' lives from the other books in the series. There are lots of twists and turns to keep you entertained and enthralled.
