Another book my mom got me, and I get why she got it for me at the time. I think I even mentioned it to her, but didn't really think she would actually get it, or that it would even be good. She got it nonetheless in another attempt to get me to read a book. But I didn't. But as I've mentioned in previous reviews, many, many years later I began reading.

When I was recently going through all the books I had or were given to me, I told my mom to get rid of this book. I told her to throw it out, but she said it would be a shame to throw out any book, and said she was going to donate it. But I figured no library or anything really wanted a book like this. So I took it out of the pile of books she was going to donate. I was ready to throw it out myself, but her notion about it being a shame to throw out books stuck with me. And then I looked at some of the other books I own from my childhood, and I would be lying to myself to say KSI didn't play a huge part in my childhood.

I played lots of FIFA and watched lots of YouTube, and KSI was truly the first YouTuber I got into, and I am sure that was the case for many others. I, and many others, watched KSI blow up while we grew up. My friends and I watched many, many hours of KSI and laughed plenty. So I decided to keep the book in my collection, and decided to read it.

And as a 28 year old man, this was really not good and totally a waste of time. Obviously I've outgrown the humour, but in general I don't think his type of comedy lends itself well to a book/reading. Certain sections of the book literally just reminded me of something that would've been in his videos. I saw a review say they did it as an audio book, and I think that actually would've come across way better. And even though I've outgrown the humour, I'm not sure I would've liked it all that much when I was younger either. Maybe I would've liked some of the advice about starting a YouTube channel, but lots of the advice isn't to be taken serious, which again is the intended humour.

It's funny (or not really) because the introduction had me a little intrigued and made me wonder if would be something interesting about his life. But alas, no, instead, it was exactly what I was expecting.

But fair play to the guy; he lived out dreams that we as kids who grew up gaming could never even imagine beyond our wildest dreams. He turned playing FIFA into a career, fame, and so much more. One of the biggest and most influential in UK and the gaming YouTube scene. And I know he likes trying and tackling different things, but he really shouldn't have made this book.

you could Tell KSI was riding the fame train throughout this audiobook- a lot of it in current time felt too try-hard " im famous here's my autobiography" ect.

that being said, it was funny & gross in a lot of places but the how to get famous & mama section in the book were my favorite parts as it gave a different depth to the book.

A book with very questionable content, chaotically going from one irrelevant subject to another, felt like a book that he was forcibly pressured to write just for a cheap cash grab.

Olajide Olatunji or better known as KSI, is a Youtuber who makes a living off of making videos of himself either playing the globally played game FIFA or just simply just going out with all his other friends and doing whatever it is they need to do to please the 12 million plus subscribers he has. He goes over all this, and even advice about every day life for teens and young adults alike in his book "I Am a Bellend" by KSI.

Unlike some other fiction writings I've read in the past, there is no plot that is set in stone. Rather, KSI seems to be focusing more on the aspects of his life and how he seems to go about it. Whether that be him telling the reader how to be safe on the internet, or just him explaining the certain steps to becoming a Youtuber like himself, a successful one albeit. This somewhat of an autobiography doesn't seem have any comparisons to any book I've ever read. To me, it seems one of a kind in the way it is written. It can't be secluded to a certain genre of books because it seems to be a mix of a few genres.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good laugh but at the same time maybe learn something about one of the most well known Youtubers ever. This book is intended for a more mature audience, as it has a "parental advisory" sticker on the front cover, due to the extremely raunchy humor and language in the book. I did enjoy reading this book quite a lot.

I never had high expectations for this book, since I knew there was going to explicit content and rash language. I read it just for the fact that I love this Youtuber, his videos being hilarious sometimes, but can get out of hand with swear words and sex phrases that shouldn't be said in front of kids under the age of 14, which are most of his viewers.
This book mainly talks about, how you can get money by being a Youtuber and how to be a successful one. It talks also about how you can be a bellend on the internet, it talks about himself and how he became the most subscribed black person on YouTube.
I would recommend this book to KSI fans, over the age of 14 due to some nasty word language and pictures. But it really isn't anything that extraordinary, i feel like sometimes he just wrote stuff to fill in more pages.
