I loved Mark’s general theme of avoiding what he refers to as the magician complex. I’ve been personally struggling with how to structure my astrology readings— the model of “let me talk the majority of the time and tell you about you” hasn’t sat well with me. I can feel that it’s flawed and isn’t all that impactful at the end of the day. My job isn’t to prove the validity of astrology which is what those readings seem to attempt to accomplish lol. My job is to help my client, and I can’t do that if my readings are structured under a subconscious assumption that I know my client better than they know themselves.

Reading this book validated my discomfort with the typical astrology reading model and gave me a lot to think about in how I can better serve the people who come to me for readings.

This book is rehashed knowledge from other important authors. There is absolutely no insight, I was extremely disappointed by this book.

I read this so fast the first time that I wanted to re-read it. Its that good, plus its easy to comprehend deep & thoughtful info for those interested in Evolutionary Astrology. Just as good the 2nd time around.

An excellent book for amateur and professional astrologers alike. While the last chapter was not wholly aligned with the content of the previous chapters, & I found it difficult reading, THE SOUL SPEAKS contains many insights and breakthrough moments. A good mix of astrology, philosophy and psychology, THE SOUL SPEAKS offers interesting concepts and guidelines. A worthy addition to my astrology bookshelf.
