Double Deception is the fifth in a series of Mail Order Brides short stories from Annie Boone. Annie writes clean, Christian romance.
Double Deception is a clean sweet romance. It tells the story of a woman that loses her husband and must find a way to make a life for her son that is different than how his father lived. She wanted her son to know that he had choices in life. Ella travels to meet her intended to find out she wasn’t the only one that had a secret. It didn’t turn out as Ella expected which is the twist of the story. Ella finds love when she wasn’t expecting it.
The book is a quick read with likable characters that go through many struggles to find their happiness. I like the writing style of the author with the unique plots and very few if any mistakes (spelling errors, etc) in the book.
If you are looking for a short sweet romance, then this is a book/series that you would probably enjoy.
Here's a mail-order bride story that was a little more filled out than most. The main character had more to her than many other gals who bravely set out to secure their futures with a man they never met. This gal kept a secret, but so did the man who sent for her. Better plot than expected - so worth the read.
This was a story of how you can go thru life of loving, losing, making mistakes and forgiving. Ella went thru many hardships but with the help of God she made it. The mail order brides books are great stories that show the many hardships they go thru and very inspirational. I recommend this book to others, especially if your looking for an uplift in your life.
