Do you like it Dangerous?

Brady Finn has been a cop and a Marine, but he’s never been in a situation as dangerous as this one. Waking up naked in the bed of a man he’s wanted for months—with no memory of how he got there—was only the beginning.

Rope Dom Ken Tanaka knows kink isn’t Brady’s scene, but he still can’t resist the tall, redheaded Boy Scout. When their search for a missing person requires Brady to go above and beyond the call of duty, they’ll both do what needs to be done for the mission—and give in to the undeniable passion between them.

Will their explosive chemistry last once the job is over? Or will taking that chance be more dangerous than either man is willing to risk?

Warning: Explicit male/male sexy times. Voyeurism with a touch of noncon, role playing, rope. And, once again, very serious about the graphic gay sex. I’m not sure why you don’t believe me… Also? An Evil League of Evil! Good kink vs scary villain kink (you’ve been warned), Finn Club rules and the aftereffects of The Great Rumming of 2015. I SAID RUMMING. Dirty minds.

This one is stupidly hot.

What irked me:

- Ken's last name was overused. It's all, Tanaka this and Tanaka that. We get it. He's half-Japanese. Let's move on. This called for a drinking game.

- If you don't read book 2 (which is M/F), you miss some background information about the two MCs. Not cool. If you're going to mix genres, each book should be a standalone. Many M/M readers don't want to read M/F.

- Too many secondary characters. I don't care about all the Finns.

- Unnecessarily overdone (and yet slightly nonsensical) mystery/suspense plot that bored me to tears.

- Ken supposedly being a Dom but acting like a sub. Just because Ken is good at rope play doesn't make him a Dom. He's all bossy bottom. I wish the rope play had been integrated more and not randomly dropped in at the end.

What I liked:

- Ken Tanaka and Brady Finn are ridiculously sexy together.

- Ken's masturbation scene in the shower. With a dildo. GAWD.

- The SEX.

- The sex.

- Also. The sex.

- Bonus story about Owen and Jeremy: fun and hot, hot, hot, with an injection of sweetness and a sparkly HEA.

Owen and Jeremy get 4 stars.

The sex gets 4+ stars.

This book as a whole gets 2 stars.

“Dangerous” is the third installment in the “Finn Factor” series by R.G. Alexander and features two characters we met in the previous book. This book can be read as a standalone I suppose, but I advise you to read book2 since you don’t want to miss some background information about Brady and Ken, the two main characters of the story. This installment was as sexy and funny at times like the previous ones and while is not my favorite in the series, so far, I really enjoyed it.

Brady Finn, former cop and a Marine is back home. He’s a little damaged and reintegrating in the society is not exactly easy for him. He wants to find a place to call home and also to find himself so he decides to leave his cousin, Owen’s couch. After one crazy drunk night he finds himself in Ken Tanaka’s house. Ken is a computer hacker and a Dom who loves some kink, especially ropes. Brady hadn’t seen the tempting kacker/Dom in nearly five weeks, but he didn’t forget their sexy last encounter. Back then he vowed not to get involved...too much with the sexy Irish/Japanese good looking man since kink is not his scene, so all this time he tried to stay away. As much as Brady wants to stay away, Ken needs him again with a dangerous situation so he propose him to move with him until they catch the bad guys. Brady agrees, never expecting the chemistry between him and Ken to be so sizzling and eventually to fall for the ‘kinky bastard’.

Damn, these two were really hot together. The sexual tension between them was really great done and the chemistry…wow…of the charts. I enjoyed their sexy interactions and the dirty talk was pretty good. The sexy moments between them were intense and I couldn’t get enough.
Since the two men knew each other already, the progression of their relationship didn’t felt rushed. I liked how easily they communicated with each other and how easily they trust each other. And because of this trust they could function also in bed, even if they have a different sexual lifestyle. They were both dominant at some point of the story and it was ok. I didn’t hate this aspect of the story. However I expected Ken to be more dominant. For a Dom he was pretty lame.

While I liked the two guys and I enjoyed the sexual tension between them, I have to admit I wasn’t impressed with the plot. The plot felt underdeveloped, (maybe it’s just me, but most of the time I felt like I was reading some strange combination between the two previous books in the series), rushed and the suspense aspect of the story was a little lame (the “dangerous” situation was very, very quickly resolved, which obviously I didn't like). Also I felt they fell for each other way too fast. I didn’t feel this love between them at all.

All in all, this was a good enough read, but obviously I wasn’t impressed. However I think I will continue with this series. We shall see!

Wow, I'm kind of surprised I liked this one as much as I did.

I've only read the MM books of the seriees (books 1 and 3)....

A small, tiny part of me has considered reading the other books in the series. There are a lot of Finn's. A lot. And it's been awhile since I read book 1 so I was a little confused at times as to who was who.

Despite that, this was a pretty solid read. Definitely more of a book you might read for the steam factor vs the plot and story line factor. However, the story wasn't bad.

Yeah, the author probably overused Ken's last name a bit. Tanaka this, Tanaka that. And really all it made me think of was this...

Otherwise, not much to complain about from me. Definitely recommend for those that are fans of this series.

BR with my girl Cass

I’ve got a thing for bossy Asian men who tie people up. It’s very specific so color me delighted when I discovered Ken Tanaka in the last book. And he certainly didn’t disappoint.

If he didn’t want you to watch him in the shower than maybe he shouldn’t have installed that particular camera.

Jeez for a man who hates kink Brady certainly takes to it like a duck to water. Role playing, exhibitionism, primal play, bondage, voyeurism. You name it and it’s probably been covered, I suppose it just took the right man. Pretty sure I’d go against my qualms for Ken too.

Beyond the steamy hot sex was the sleuthing and discovery of evil BDSM slavers. I felt like a bit was missing, leaving me a little confused after that climax but otherwise found it interesting.

I was stoked for the shibari but felt like we only got a taste, even if it was a delicious one.

As for the emotions, I definitely wanted more. More build up, more angst.

I think with this writer if you just want hot sex, and not much more than this series is certainly for you.

Brady has been avoiding Ken ever since they shared a kiss in the middle of a kink party. Brady isn't kinky at all, and doesn't want to be, while Ken is a rope master heavy in the scene. After months of successfully avoiding Ken, the Great Rumming of 2015, aka Brady getting drunk off his ass, leads to him waking up in Ken's bed. Ken, though, just needs a partner on another one of his undercover investigations. Or so he says.

Wow, I have to say that this has been the hottest book of the series so far. I couldn't get enough of Brady and Ken together, and when the book ended I wanted to yell and cry, and make the author give me more of this amazing couple. In all honestly, the story wasn't my favorite and there were a few times that I got a little annoyed at things. But with that being said, the smexiness more than made up for it and after reading that shower masturbation scene there was no way in hell I was rating this story below 4 stars. Seriously, just for that scene alone, I recommend this book to my fellow m/m lovers.

The story itself was good, but not the best that I've read from this author. I wanted a little more from it, and wish the ending didn't seem so rushed. Bottom line, though, I enjoyed the book and more than enjoyed the sex scenes between these sexy ass men.

Gonna do a quick review before I forget.

Like the first book in the series Curious the sex here is plentiful and very, very hot. The plot? I could really take it or leave it, but it was interesting enough to hold my attention between the sex.

If you are looking for something titillating and hot as fire, but don't really care that the plot isn't rock solid, dive in and enjoy!

3.5 'Just us and rope' Stars!

I always go back to series I enjoyed in the past when I don't know what to read next and I definitely enjoyed the Finn Factor's books before. I do have to say though this is not my favorite. I especially enjoyed the first book (and I loved the shortie we get at the end of Dangerous about Owen and Jeremy!) and I was expecting to have the same connection with Brady and Ken. Yeah, these two are HOT AF (all R.G. Alexander's I've read are!) but I felt like missing a stronger connection with these couple.

But leaving that aside, Dangerous was a quick entertaining and suspenseful story with a couple who has lots of sexy times and those involve rope! So yeah, if you are a MM romance fan and you want a quick fix, check this one out and see if you enjoy it too!

*** Loved this pair of beautiful men ! *** I remember from the previous story's wedding, that Ken Tanaka and Brady Finn were attracted to each other.

Handsome Ken, sleek, strong, and stealth, with honey-hued skin, is amazingly tattooed, and has stunning shiny, black, usually braided long hair.

Massive Marine/Cop Brady is a bighearted, muscled, ginger, with piercing blue eyes. He's exactly what computer pro Ken likes.

The men have some differences to deal with. Ken is a Dom, a bondage rope expert, and their family lives have been total opposite experiences. Together they are working to take down a sex slave crime operation and Brady is the bait.

The sex between these two magnificent men is explosive, erotic, raw and powerful. Deep characterizations, terrific satellite family members and friends.
I loved the whole story, the suspense and the sexy times !!!
Very highly recommended ! ENJOY !!
==============================

* In addition, we are given a short story of Owen and Jeremy, ( a previous story's gfy couple) on vacation and pending proposal.

Super hot BDSM scenes with those two ! Wow !

I'm happy to say that I liked this book more than the first one (I skipped the second).

This time there is actually some plot, along all the sex scenes, and I liked getting to know the characters, seeing their personalities and their connection outside the bedroom. There is an investigation side plot that is not completely resolved, though there is closure to an aspect of it (I'm confusing you, aren't I?). We get to meet a lot of Finns here and now I'm patiently/not-so-patiently waiting for their stories.

There is a short story at the end of the main one that features Owen and Jeremy on vacation. It's actually taking place at the same time as Brady and Ken's story. It is only a few scenes long but again most of it is sex (I don't know what is it with those two characters... Keep your clothes on for two minutes!) There is some relationship trouble, or more like potenial trouble that's in someone's head, and it was interesting to see Owen jealous and insecure.

The next story in this series for me is probably Shameless. I look forward to reading everyone's stories but especially Noah's and Wyatt's, for some reason.

Loved this one. Very sexy, fast read. I loved book 1 in the series and I skipped book 2. I had no difficulty reading this one, but I think if you read both book 1 and 2, you get some more insight into the main characters.

This one is about Brady Finn, Owens cousin. He's a former marine/cop and Ken Tanaka, hacker and dom. They met in the previous book, because they were working a case together and they fooled around a bit. They are very attracted to one another, but Brady especially, finds it hard to act on his feelings. He has an aversion to kink, and doesn't want anything to do with it.

In this book they again come together, while working a case....and also start working on each others bodies....them they were HOT together.

It's pretty low on angst..there is some but not much. Also don't expect a lot of bdsm. It is bdsm themed, but there is not a lot of that going on between the mc's.

If you're looking for a hot, easy fast read about two deliciously sexy men, than you should definately give this one a try.
I was a bit dissapointed about not getting to read about Ken bottoming...I like when they take turns, but that my personal preference.

I do have to say, I still like book 1 best. Owen and Jeremy stole my heart !!! I really enjoyed reading about Owens proposal, and I cant wait to read about their wedding in the next book, which will be about little Finn and should be an mfm

You’re a Finn. We go all in or not at all.

I have to say from the "Rules of Finn Club" to the "Finn Again" this cast of crazy characters is just what I needed. This short book was able to cover the bases, it was muy caliente and yet I was able to connect with both Brady and Ken. This was by far my favorite book of the series. The extra bonus quickie from Owen and Jeremy was a lot of fun ;)

The MC delivers a loud, long, very public lecture to his bisexual cousin about how the cousin needs to admit that he's gay. And a bar full of people cheer him on. Because, as we all know, bisexuals don't actually exist. They're like unicorns that way.

KEN? Sorry, he keeps changing in my head. You'll figure it out.

This is hard to rate actually. Because it keeps changing from the beginning to the end of the book.

I think this book loosely connected with the previous one. I don't read the previous. I'm just not in the mood for M/F. But I didn't find it difficult to follow the story.

What I liked :
- Let's not forget about Owen and Jeremy. Damn.. I think I'm obsessed with those two. We got Dual POV this time!

This book was told from Brady's POV and ended in HFN.

3.5 rounded up to 4 because I loved that bonus story at the end. Owen and Jeremy are definitely my favorite couple in this series! It was sweet and funny and totally hot.

Brady and Ken’s story, though, turned out to be completely different from what I’d been expecting. I wanted to see Ken in action so much, after that tantalizing scene with Tasha in book 2, and the way everyone kept mentioning his Shibari skills… What we got instead was admittedly hot, but pretty low on the kink-scale, with only one teeny-tiny bondage scene. Bummer.

Ugh. M/M books are just too hot. Especially this one, even though this is the first book I've read in this series. It had a little bit of danger but was amazing. I loved the kinky side. Is it bad to say that I died from pleasure from reading this?

GUH! This was ridiculously, incredibly, waaaaay too HOT! I LOVED the first book in this series, and I did read the second book (been a few years since I read a real het romance and it was weird haha but it was hot too) but this had some serious steam, strong men, some kink, some love, and some sort of plot type of thing that was going on but who really cares because it's all about these two hot men :D haha

But seriously, I really enjoyed this, and also? One of the main reasons it's on my desert island keepers shelf, is the short story with Owen and Jeremy at the very end. They are still the reining kings of hotness in this series, I don't know how it gets yummier than them, so I'm glad we're getting these short stories with them at the end of the main book.

I look forward to the next story with Jen and her boys (Trick and someone else, right?) and the one after that (which I hope is m/m!)

I know Brady and Ken were only introduced in the last book but I love they got their book so soon

Hot Body Man and Hot Rope Master who didn't like this story?

Ken and Brady need to work together to infiltrate a twisted organisation and find someone Ken cares about very much. Add on lots of passionate wild lovemaking and you have yourself a story and a half.

I did find it took me longer to read the parts where Brady and Cal had a date and the part where they got into the club. I think because Brady was so uncomfortable it made me nervous, as well. Also, the part of consent in the club, because if those men could trade people between them, who says everything that happens there is consensual? And that made it very hard for me to read, and I did it with lots of breaks in between finishing that chapter.

Otherwise, it's hands down my favourite story so far.

After reading book 1 I was excited to read this because the sex in that one was beyond hot. I skipped book 2 because…m/f. So I’ll break this book into 2 parts because there is the main book and then it has this little extra which goes back to Jeremy/Owen from book 1.

Brady and Ken….you know sometimes an author can be too consistent. The dynamic between Brady and Ken felt a little too familiar very similar to the setup and story of book 1. Both were gay so there was no gfy element, but Brady while attracted to Ken is not into BDSM. Ken is also supposed to be a Dom BUT we see nothing but submission from him in this book, with a little rope play thrown in at the end I’m assuming for shits and giggles, it felt weird once we got there. The minor “breakup” and then having the couple reunite, again just unnecessary and a bit formulaic. There is also a job the two are working on that involves a sex club and potentially holding someone against their will BUT it was almost…undeveloped. Every time it started to come into play it was brief, undetailed, and quickly resolved itself. Possibly due to lack of pages. I will say though ultimately I came here for the sex and it did not disappoint.

If book 3 had only been the Brady & Ken show I probably would have been somewhere between 2 and 3 stars, probably settling on three for the sex alone, especially the “cop pullover” scene. I probably would have then removed a star because Ken’s character was too…sensitive? Effeminate? For me to see him as a realistic Dom.

BUT then we have the Jeremy/Owen vacation nibble at the end. Extra star all day every day.

2.5 Stars. Well the one thing this book had going for it was some very hot sex scenes. I liked the characters and I liked the chemistry between the two of them. However, hot sex is not enough to make a book worth reading when so many others have that and a good plot. In this book the overall plot felt like an afterthought. The "Dangerous" part of the book happened in one chapter and ended without much fanfare and left the whole thing dangling since the overall bad guys weren't caught and it seemed the MC's were never really in any danger.

On top of that I had trouble keeping track of who all the Finn's were and other than a couple of them didn't really care. Ken was supposed to be a dominant in the BDSM world who is an expert with ropes but he was submissive in almost all the sex scenes with no explanation at all. I have no issue with a character who can be both but he never came across as dominant in anyway. Finally, while the chemistry was great and the sex was hot I didn't buy how fast the "I love yous" came along.

Pretty disappointing and I'm not sure if I'll continue this series especially since it switches from M/M to M/F and I don't read much contemporary M/F.

I realized while reading I should have read book 2 before reading this one. Though I could follow the story because I read book 1. This series seems to read better if read in order. I really enjoyed it but there is some scenes written that would be read as abusive. Still I recommend this series.

Heh, I was looking forward to reading this book, because the first in this series was hot as hell, even though it didn't have a plot to speak of. I skipped book #2 because it was MF and female parts have no place in my stories, and I'm frustrated after reading Dangerous; Why? Well because I felt like I was missing some key parts that were part of book 2, and I had to do some fill-in-the-blanks throughout this book. That was reason enough to deduct a whole star, and it definitely annoyed me at times. Why should I be forced to read a MF book only to keep up with a series? I wish the author wouldn't mix them up like this and would stay with the MM theme if this is the way she started.

Now let me tell you HOLY FUCKING SHIT, THIS BOOK WAS HOT!!! AND IT HAD A PLOT!!!! Ok, I'll stop screaming now, but this was good! Ken Tanaka was freaking gorgeous (and a Dom with a kink of being held down and fucked into the floor which doesn't have to make sense for it to be hot), and Brady ticked all my boxes that define a smoking hot and addicting character: an ex marine AND a cop, a tall big red-head who's sexy as fuck and he's packing the big gun, he's intense and broody, AND he's just discovering his penchant for kinky sex. Once these two hook up, beware! The sex will make you dizzy with its intensity, and the dirty, filthy, somewhat-porny talk did it for me in a big way. One thing I can say with confidence is that this author definitely knows how to write a good sex scene (or a few). But aside from that, the plot somewhat continues from the start it had on book #2, and that's where this feeling I missed something started creeping in. Ken and Brady worked together in book two in a mission that keeps being mentioned here, and the chemistry and sexual tension started during said mission, when Brady and Ken met and started lusting after each other. I wish these book were standalones all the way, instead of just partially. There were new characters in this book that threw me for a loop, because they were definitely present in book #2, which confused and frustrated me. I couldn't keep up with who everybody was, which became annoying after a while.

This is definitely better written than book #1, and I know I rated that one higher than this, but then that one was simpler to keep up with and they were very different. Curious was more porny and simple: lots of hot sex with a weak plot that didn't distract from said hot sex. Dangerous has a more complex plot and a lot more characters, and because its roots are set in book #2, it's too confusing and I had to do too much fill-in-the-blanks. Other than that, this was an amazing book!

Dangerous is the third book in the Finn Factor series and this one is about Brady and Ken. Brady is the cousin of Stephen and Owen, who we have met in the previous books, and we got to know him a little better in the last book when he was employed as Stephen’s bodyguard. While on that mission he was introduced to Ken, a friend of Tasha’s and their chemistry exploded between them. This story takes place a few months later.

This one had a darker feel to it as they searched for a missing man who had been forced into sex slavery. The end few chapters were sad and dark, and unfortunately with no proper ending for that story-line. The bad guys didn’t exactly all find justice so hopefully that will pop up again later. Having said that, this book, like the previous two, is super hot. Ken and Brady’s sex is off the charts and there is plenty of it. So if you’re looking for something steamy then this book will certainly work for you.

The added story at the end with Jeremy and Owen was perfect. While also hot, it was sweet and I had the biggest smile by the end of it. I love that we keep seeing these two guys and where they are with each other, and I also am so happy it seems it will continue on with another bonus story in the next book.

*flops to the ground*

I FORGOT HOW INTENSE THIS ONE IS! There's a scene I'd entirely blanked out--I probably skimmed it because it's intensely uncomfortable. But Brady needs Ken, and Ken needs Brady every bit as much, and they are unrestrained when together.

I tell newer writers that emotional impact is critical if you want to hold your readers. This whole story is emotional for me.

The new edition includes a short story about Owen finally proposing to Jeremy--considering in Dangerous, Brady's the spur under Owen's butt to commit. It's as quirky as you'd expect.

I liked this book, but not as much as the first one. I probably would have like it better if I’d read the second book. There were many instances where the second book was referenced and they left me a little lost. I love all romance novels, but for some reason I want them to be either mm or mf. I’m just not into mmf.
