If you like Black mafia romance, you will like this. I devoured this book. I loved the way Cassius waited for Aella to want to marry him instead of a forced arranged marriage even though their marriage obviously benefits their families. This was my first book by Skye Moon but it will not be my last! That teaser of book 2 at the end has me READY for book 2. I need it yesterday!!
This is my first book by author and I did really enjoy it. I did feel like it dragged a little bit towards the end, but seeing that this is not a completed series it makes sense why.
I liked Cass and Elle. It was cute seeing our relationship blossom, especially because my girl Elle was not going for it in the beginning lol
When I started reading this book, I just knew who was behind all this bullshit. By the time I finished, I realized I was wrong!
Cassius and Aella despising each other in the beginning made their chemistry hit that much harder. The drama was entertaining as hell!
I started this book and had to finish it. Stayed up until three-something in the morning, then canceled my breakfast plans. This book was so fucking good, it was worth it! I can’t wait to read the other sisters’ books.
Not going to hold you, I just knew it was someone else. Like, at first I thought it was him, but then everything started falling apart and I had at least 3 people that I thought it was.. That ending though, seems like a setup. I could see the envy role playing a part, but I just CANT believe it. Book two me please!!!
Oh baby that ending!!! I need book 2 asap! I love Cassius and the way he locked in with Elle and immediately called her “mine”! I enjoyed their banter and the journey of their love. I was shocked when she said Mars but I honestly don’t believe it was him…he was genuinely hurt from that accusation
Yes, yes, yes!!! Come on with it Skye! I am a big fan of Skye Moon’s books and although it’s been a minute, she did not disappoint. This series has started off with a banger! I’m ready for the next installment.
Im so happy we get to see them actually connect and ultimately choose each other for their own reasons! I love when an FMC has a back bone but is also willing to bend when she realizes the MMC is worth it!
Yall know I LOVE arranged marriage and Black Mafia families!!! This was a great read! The build up to their relationship. The banter between the characters. But that last sentence of the book?!?! I screamed!!!! That cant be right! I cannot wait for book 2!!
