Hot and Steamy meets intrigues and sexy drama

I’m no angel, but I was angelic with him. I’m no saint, but I’ve casted away all my sins.

My name is Keira and I’m no longer a whore. I’ve changed for chances, changed for love, changed because change was the only way I could have his love. But then, he proved, just like every other man, that sometimes the things that seem so right are destined to be deathly wrong.

He left me wanting; left with secrets untold. What he didn’t know was that if you push a woman into another man’s arms, she might fall.

And he might catch her.

What he didn’t know was that he allowed the wrong person to catch her. Sex might not cure anything but it was my antidote.

Whew this was different and interesting and felt.. just really real. Like some rl stuff. The FMC Kiera is probably one of the most real characters I've read about recently. In other words she is a dang hot mess disaster, with absolutely no idea how to get control of this life shes been basically been just letting man handle her. So despite not actually like Kiera all that much because lets face it, shes kind of on the lazy side, choosing to remain ignorant rather than fight for herself, or anyone else, I respect the author for creating such a real character.

Kiera has just been dumped by her long term boyfriend, broken and depressed so has taken up living with her BFF Kevin and for months dreams of nothing more than her boring life back. Just as she is finally trying to pull herself out of her depression with Kev's help. The Ex shows back up in her life. The reader watches as it seems everyone lies to Kiera and she just chooses to ignore the obvious while trying to cling to something that is safe. Kevin is tired of being friend zoned while Kiera's ex gets away with the unspeakable. Determined not to be the reason their relationship is ruined he wants Kiera to open her eyes and see the obvious and choose him.. but once the lies are exposed can Kiera get over all the betrayals and just freaking woman up?

Kiera was incredibly selfish, delusional, naive, conceited, and lazy but the author makes her do some self realization and come to terms with some of her faults. It was an interesting fast paced read super easy to sink into if you can get passed Kiera's personality. It was so real that Im almost wondering if I don't have a friend that this has happened to lol.

Its hard for me to even give this 3 stars. its more of a 2.5 star.

I was contacted by someone for the Publishing company of this book. I was asked to read and review this book for free. I said yes because when I read the blurb it sounded like something I would have read on my own.

As I said I cant give this book anything higher then 3 stars as its more of a 2.5. I found a lot of spelling and continuity errors. I had to resist taking a red pen on my ereader and correcting things. Someone while editing this should have caught the mistakes. I found misuse of Characters names or calling a she a 'he' or the other way around. It was hard to keep pace with a lot of the things happening as the story kept jumping from one point to another without explaining how we got from one location to other. It lacked the flowing feel of scenes. The main character was written horribly. Keira was very childish and immature for someone who was 28 years old and running her own business. Whenever Kevin called her names and said he hated her. I couldnt help but agree sometimes.

This may come off contrictding. But I did enjoy the story but it had alot of things needing to be fixed. I understand not all mistakes can be caught. But I felt like and even had to check that I wasnt reading the pre-edit copy of the book and not the final product. I cant say if I will read any more books by this author. This story was sorta of hard to get through because of the mistakes. But I cant stay I wont give her another chance later on.

I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review. I wanted to like this book, i really did. The blurb had my interested and it had a lot of promise. The writing style was good but there was something off. I can't quite put my finger on what it was exactly but something was missing. Pretty much from the start there was mention of something going on with Jimmy, the MC's boyfriend, I didn't like that Keria's best friend knew what it was and didn't say anything. It was mentioned several times why he didn't but, for me, it didn't gel. The . That's what kept me interested in reading honestly.

There were parts that were too long winded and went into too much detail that I didn't really think helped with the storyline. I found myself skipping pretty much all of the parts with Keira and her sister. I think all my dark readings had me expecting more from the secret. I was expecting something super juicy between Svetlana, Kevin and Jimmy. It would have been nice to see what happened with Jimmy after everything came out. Maybe a small epilogue would have helped.

I didn't hate it but it wasn't one of my faves. I will read more by this author, the bedroom scenes were pretty hot!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book.

Wow wow wow! This can't be the authors debut, just can't be!
I was totally hooked on this right from the start, I kind of both wanted to hug and hit some sense into Keira, especially in the beginning! But to see her character change and develop was totally worth the frustration!

Keira believes she's found the one, the 'game-changer', but after years together, he breaks her heart, without even giving her a reason why.
Amelia struggles to live with the devastation and heartbreak, leaning on the only person she knows can help, her best friend Kevin. Little does she know, Kevin hasn't completely been himself with her, he's hiding not only feelings, but secrets, too.

Kevin tries to make Amelia live again, tries to wake her up from her pity party, and to show her that Jimmy was never worthy of her, that she had settled for someone whom she believed was 'safe'. But, of course, Amelia learns that safe isn't always as it seems to be.

Craved is also seriously hot! It's the perfect blend of dramatic and sexy, and definitely unexpected!

I highly recommend this book! I can't wait to read more from this author!

I was gifted this book for an honest review.

It would be difficult for me to dislike this story more than I do. All the characters are completely unsympathetic. The main character, in particular, is so selfish and immature that I instantly disliked her. The story arc is flat and lacked continuity and flow. I stopped caring what happened long before the end of the book.

As to the writing - It is atrocious. First, this author needs to buy and use a dictionary. Second, this book desperately needs a good editor, copyeditor, and final proofreader. My virtual editor's red pencil was worn down to the nub from the copious spelling, grammatical, and continuity mistakes within the text. Third, If the author and the readers take nothing else from my review, note that anyways is not a word! The proper word is anyway, and it should not be overly used in writing or in speech as a substitute for more literate transitional verbs.

Kiera is in love with a man who isn't anything she thought he was. Kiera's best friend Kev is always there for her. Kev has his own secrets that may have a huge impact on his and Kiera's friendship.

There is a lot of emotions packed into the read. It was like being on the biggest rollercoaster.
I loved the interaction between the two friends. When all hell breaks loose who will Kiera stand by? Read to find out!!

I flew through this book. It got me hooked to the point that i couldn't put it down until i found out what the big secret was and what the out come would be. I must admit the back and forth between the two men and Keira's reactions to some situations annoyed me. Kevin was a great character and the love scenes with him were hot. This was the first book I've read from this author and i look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Ummm

Ok, what is with all the slut shaming?? I mean, wtf! Stop calling women whores and sluts, it's not ok for anyone to refer to anyone in that way and it's so gross to read it. It may be fiction but it says a lot about the authors mind that she felt so comfortable to have her characters speak like this to other characteristics, and about theme, can we leave that shaming shit in the past!
Also, they main character is not likeable at all, I was really struggling what there was to love about her, she said and did horrible things to people. She was cruel to her best friend, her flat mate, her sister and also to a small two year old child. Nothing about this person and how she was written had me rooting for her, she came across as incredibly selfish, ignorant, self serving and just down right stupid. She was a coward and stayed with the boyfriend for ridiculous reasons and took him back because... I actually don't know why, and I don't know why she wouldn't give her best friend a try when she was obviously attracted to him more than the other guy. Was just a confusing mess really.
The ending was very abrupt and didn't really wrap up much or resolve anything.

Pretty interesting premise. I like how it started in the middle of the drama. No boring set up needed.

Saying that, it also felt a bit rushed. The book needed more content. If there would have been more to the story line, it would have been a great addition to the; girl gets out of crappy relationship, and finally gets with her best friend, classic romance novel.

One thing I don’t understand, is the late attraction. Attraction is instant. You may not want to be with that person, but If you find them attractive, you thought that the second you met them. Attraction is primal, and so is chemistry, I think I would have believed in them a little more if Kiera had mentioned some previous attraction to Kevin. I also could have believed it if they hadn't seen each other in a long time. Like he was gone and its been 5 years since she last laid eyes on him, now he's back and she thinks he is crazy hot now. It just didn't seem to fit that she all of the sudden found him irresistibly handsome but he had NEVER crossed her mind like that until just now.

Kiera is sort of an immature brat. It isn’t something the author hides though. She is selfish, and super indecisive. To the point that she hurts the people around her. I can however, appreciate that the character is aware of this and doesn’t try to cover it up, or think she is some amazing person when she isn't. She was also a little paper thin. She didn’t have any depth to her, maybe I would have liked her more, or been more on her side, had I been better able to relate to her, or get to know her outside her super complicated love life.

Kevin seemed like a genuinely awesome male lead. Again I feel like he was a tad paper thin, but he had great character foundation. He was with out a doubt, my favorite character in the book (not just because he was delicious to read about) because he was the only person who seemed to care about other people. Every character was pretty self serving except for him. I have to say that he was way to good for Kiera but I liked that he knew when to stand up to her. I would have absolutely LOVED to have alternating POV between him and Kiera. It would have added so much to their story and made it much more well rounded.

Talk about a good twist at the end. It just needed to be delivered better. For such an emotional situation, I felt like there should have been much more build up. The whole book could have used a little more development though honestly. Kiera’s relationship with Kevin was super steamy, but there never was a point that they seemed to be falling in love or at least that they were making the transition from friends who hooked up to something substantial. Tons of steamy sexy parts, but I had a hard time thinking that they will truly have a happy ever after. In regards to her relationship with her ex, if he was so hard to stay away from I would have liked it to show more of their relationship. I honestly could not understand why she kept wanting to run back to him. Plus had her ex been more alluring to me as a reader, the twist at the end would have been much more substantial.

Over all I give his book a 3. It needs a lot of work but its on the right track.

What do you do when the man you have invested everything into all the sudden tells you it is over and to get out? You put four years into this and he gives you no reason nothing? Well you head to your best friends of course.

For Keira, her best friend just happens to be the incredibly sexy Kevin. They have been best friends for ten years and she knows she can count on him. He lets her crash in his spare room, and after three months, he finally decides that he is dragging her out to the club. Which turns into a disaster when a woman Keira has never met calls her a bitch and starts a fight. Once the other woman is escorted out, things get heated between Keira and Kev, but he stops it before they go too far.

As Keira tries to get her life back together and on track, it seems like everyone knows something about her life that she doesn't. And then there is the animal like attraction to Kevin she has felt ever since the night at the club, but Kevin is the party-boy, she wants to settle down and have a family, she wants stable, not excitement.

Things continue to get more and more complicated as Keira goes back to her ex Jimmy and the safe, stable, boring life. The one she thinks she wants so that she can have a family. Things just don't seem to be adding up, he is lying to her, she can tell, and the password on his phone, what is going on. Kevin seems to know something but he keeps saying it is not his tale to tell.

Follow along as Keira struggles to find out what she really wants, who she really wants and does falling in love and settling down really mean that you have to become stale and simple. Can't love always be exciting?

This has got to be the best romance novel I have read this year, yes the intimate sex scenes between Keira and Kevin are pretty intense and detailed, but I sure didn't mind them at all. I found myself envying her just a little bit at times. Thank goodness the boring crap with Jimmy was left out of the book! The story is about more than just the sex, it's about loving someone, waiting for them, about not knowing what you want, mistaking safe and secure for boring and stale. Instead of calling it a erotic romance, I would say its a romance laced with erotica, because the romance is more important. To be completely honest this book had me laughing and crying, and crying with Keira, and begging her to talk to Kevin and yelling at her to ignore Jimmy and that he wasn't worth the tears, and that was at the beginning of the book before I learned his secrets. Even is your don't normally read anything erotica or never have, give this a try!!

When I first started reading this book I have to say I had some mix emotions with the characters. Keira it took me a while to warm up to her, Jimmy hated thru out the whole book, and Kevin just feel in love with.

Keira was in this relationship with Jimmy who was a total loser. She thought she loved him and when he broke up with her she had issues on letting him go. She was heart broken, devastated, and would take him back if given a chance. It was like she was looking thru rose color glasses and when he broke up her whole world ended. It was like she stopped living, though I am not sure she really lived when she was with him.

Jimmy was this loser and guy who had some secrets. He was one that could not be trusted and though Keira knew there was something, she would not face it head on.

Kevin was this amazing best friend who was in love with Keira. It had to kill him to see Keira with men like Jimmy. But no matter what Keira went thru Kevin was there. Even when Keira had no place to go he welcomed her in his home with open arms. That is what best friends did, correct?

You will find this rollercoaster of a relationship. With Jimmy he made love. He bedside manner was vanilla. Keira felt Jimmy was safe and could give her what she wanted and needed. With Kevin He screwed and screwed hard. He was addicted and she craved him with every part of her being. Keira is like bouncing back and forth. She wants to be loved, cherished, a baby, and to get married. The question is which guy can give her theses things? Which guy does her heart truly belong to?

You will not only watch this rollercoaster of events but witness all the lies, betrayals, and secrets. As you read you will understand Keira a little more and more with each chapter, but I have to warn you, you will want to reach in a shake her a few times. If I could change anything in this book with would be for the author to have added an Epilogue, that way I could of had a glimpse of somethings I would of like to have seen, if the author would like for me to tell her I will be more then happy to. I just don’t want to post what it is because I do not want to give to much away.

Crave
By: Amelia Gates
4/5 stars

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The book starts out while Keira is in the midst of a break-up with her long-term boyfriend of 4 years, Jimmy. He didn’t give her a reason for ending their relationship, which she thought was headed towards marriage & starting a family, but instead he kicked her out of their shared apartment. Her world has been shattered and the only person she has that she can rely on is her best friend, Kevin.

Kevin never liked Jimmy and he’s been trying to help Keira get over her ex. He’s been the steady constant in her life for over 10 years, the shoulder that she’s cried on, the advice giver and has cemented his status as best friend. But it seems like he wants more from Keira by his words and even his actions. But for some reason, they just never have an honest conversation about that as a possibility.

Keira knows that Kevin is a player and that he’s not been one to settle down, so she won’t even entertain the idea of having something more with him, because she is ready for a ring & babies. Plus Kevin is holding onto some major secret that he keeps apologizing to Keira that he can’t tell her because it’s not his tale to tell.

There is another woman involved and some crazy family members, which will keep you guessing as to the plot point, but you just know that everything is all interconnected somehow. Yet those in the know refuse to tell her, which to me was absolute crap, no matter their reasoning and if anyone would have done that to me, I would have held a grudge for years.

I thought the blurb was somewhat misleading in comparison to the book. But I feel that if I get into it; that may spoil the book. This book brought out an array of feelings. I was mad at just about every character at one point or another. I felt awful & my heart was ripped out. And eventually I did feel some happiness. I did think that the book ended abruptly, and would have liked an epilogue that showed more of the future.

Was good was asked for honest review

This was the first time I have read anything by Amelia. I was asked for an honest review. This story was a typical love triangle with a mystery twist that you won't know until the end. I was frustrated with the non stop fighting back and forth. I felt like I wanted to slap some sense into the main character. But the story did leave an impression on me. I had to wait a day before I could write the review. I was not fully sold on the ending. It felt like something was missing to create an HEA ending. I would love to try another story from this author.
Overview. (Has spoilers in overview). Kiera is the main character. The book starts off with her in a break up from Jimmy. He gives no excuse as to why they are breaking up. She moves in with her best friend Kevin whom she has known for 10 years. Kevin helps her try to get over Jimmy. Keira thinks Kevin is with a girl names "the Russia Sleventa". Kiera is jealous enough that the two girls fight and Kevin takes Kiera home. Thing get a little heavy, but no serious lines were crossed. Keira decides to go back to work in her bakery and look for a new place to stay. But the hit keep coming when she get a bill for 3months of rent unpaid. She is mad and goes to Kevin for a fight, enough that he WILL put her in a place where is fucked two different ways. But Kevin can no longer be a friend. He wants more while Kiera's heart still wants Jimmy. So Kira goes between the two. She goes back to Jimmy, but still fights her feelings for Kevin and craving sexy with Kevin. Kevin is wild and very explosive with love and sex. While Jimmy is boring vanilla but loves Her too. But the mystery "lies" with the Russian and her sister Martha. Martha has fallen off the wagon again and wants to come clean about Jimmy, the Russian, and why Martha was with Kevin and the Russian. But who will Kiera choose?

I was given this book for my honest review

Etching kisses along my body, he moved lower, teeth and lips, tongue and teeth, down, further and further and I moaned again and again with each move he made until he was there, his lips upon the most sensitive part of me. And I wanted nothing more than to taste him; to remember what he tasted like when he tasted like me. But I didn’t say as much because it felt so damn good. So damn good and I couldn’t breathe, didn’t want to breathe because with him, air was just a substitute. Air wasn’t as important as the verve he gasped into me. Keira

Keira-pretty

Kevin-hot and sexy

Keira is sweet and pretty but she is going through a tough time with a recent break-up in the wind and a best friend (Kevin) in the current her strength is tested and her heart is in turmoil can Keira learn to finally let go of the past and become one with Kevin that has always been there when she needed greatness to lean upon? Kevin is a hot man that can have anyone he such desires except the one that his true heart craves. He is an alpha male that can make any woman’s panties drop with just one glance.

The sex between Kevin and Keira is like making a potato pancake. The slivers of potato mixed with onions, egg, salt, flour and pepper to taste then dropping the ¼ cup of each mixture into the hot oil pan to wait the flipping of this yummy concoction. When eating this it becomes a euphoria that only can be described as hot and scrumptious

This author did a fabulous job in creating such turmoil with an ex from heck and a best-friend that no longer wants to reside in the friend zone not to mention him being an alpha dominant male that one can only hope Keira can handle. Major Kudos

Happy Reading

Crave is a highly emotional story about Kiera, Kevin and Jimmy. It has that love triangle feel to it, mainly because Kiera spends a lot of time evaluating her relationships. Kiera is an emotionally stunted woman. She doesn't seem to know her worth & impresses her skewed view on those closest to her. Her best friend Kevin is admittedly in love with her, but demonstrates a lot of hate for her as well. It's as if his devotion has been one sided for so long it's become bitter. At the beginning, Kiera's relationship with Jimmy, a man she feels she belongs with, ends & her self-imposed spiral into depression takes a drastic turn when she has sex with Kevin. It's not hearts & flowers, you're the love of my life kind of sex. More like angry, you can get the hell out of my life kind of sex. This only proves to confuse an already confused Keira. This story centers around a woman trying to grab her bearings. Everything that she thought was real is being stripped away. She no longer has Jimmy, her man, or Kevin, her sounding board; her cupcake business is in ruins. Her life at the end of her twenties isn't turning out so great. Without giving too much away, this story has me on the fence. I liked it, and yet I found myself not really enjoying the heroine. Let me clarify; part of me liked her and understood her, and yet part of me wanted to slap her and tell her to man the heck up. She needed to open her eyes. I am having a love/hate relationship with this story. I suggest you read it for yourself. Oh and the ending...it was a tad abrupt, but seemed to suit Kevin, so I did like that. He was the best character by far.

The description of this book I think oversells it. When I read the description I'm thinking hot, steamy read--girl gets dumped by boyfriend, gets rescued by alpha male that shows her what a real man is like, and then she has to decide what she truly craves. When I started reading this book I wanted to slap the main character Keira. I'm a strong woman and cannot fathom the breakdown she has over a boyfriend that no longer wants her. Not knowing why, I get. Turning your entire life off for three months, no go. She has her best friend Kevin that has taken her in and is trying to get her to realize that she needs to return to the real world and move on. What she doesn't realize is that Kevin wants her to move on with him. This part of the story is great. Kevin shows her what he wants and what he knows she secretly craves. The posturing back and forth between Keira and Kevin, and then Keira and her exboyfriend Jimmy had me slapping my forehead. I guess since I surround myself with other like-minded and strong people I just cannot understand the thought process of Keira. I was happy to see how certain things in the book progressed and definitely how it ended, but was still very much wanting to pull Keira's hair out at times. Strong alpha male in Kevin was probably the only thing that made me finish this book.

This is the first book I have read from Amelia Gates, but I certainly hope it is not the last. She has a wonderful "gift of gab" so to speak, with her ability to take a story, whether it is from her own imagination or a life experience, and create a book that is not only worthy of being read, but definitely referred to anyone who enjoys a deep, emotional story that will have you wanting to scream and cry all at the same time. This book is extremely well written and edited, and will have you biting your nails throughout. A warning should be attached that if you start to read, you won't want to put it down. The plot is well thought out, not too long and certainly not too short.
I won't give you too much of the story, as there are already numerous reviews to do so, but, I do want to tell you that the synopsis doesn't do the book justice! This book is a great story about a woman, Keira, who is torn between two men, one that will hurt her in many ways, the other that will love her regardless. The question is who will be the one to hurt and who will be the one to love? Will either Jimmy or Kevin be able to heal her hurts and take away her pain? A must read! If there is only one book you will read this year, make it this one.

They say best friends make the best lovers, but for Kiera she’s in denial on that point. When Kiera is dumped out of nowhere by her boyfriend of 4 years, Jimmy, she goes straight to her best friend Kevin, moves in and things start to change in their relationship, she is heartbroken and hung up on Jimmy and at first Kevin is her shoulder, but as time goes by and she still isn’t getting over Jimmy he gets more frustrated with her, and one night they end up almost sleeping together and it throws a real wrench in everything. Kiera wants Kevin’s friendship, her rock, shoulder and the one she can tell everything too; she also wants the wild, uninhibited, ecstasy he gives her in the bedroom. Unfortunately she also wants the safe, secure, family with children life she feels only Jimmy can give her (even if that life is mind numbingly boring). What Kiera doesn’t know is there is more going on then she realizes and what her heart and mind want are not the same. Attention grabbing storyline, endearing characters that could be your friends or neighbors a wealth of emotional situations (way to many of us have probably faced) all well blended to make a real must read, over and over!

I was given this book by the author in trade that I would give an honest review. In this story at first I struggled to connect with Keira because she just drove me crazy, she was always in her head flip flopping with decisions. but the further I got into the story I began to have compassion for her, no her personality didn't change but the way I saw her did because I learned more about her family and then my heart was saddened for her because all she really wanted to was to be loved and cherished by one man who loved her and shared the desire to have a family. That is what she thought she had with Jimmy. Jimmy was her long term boyfriend whom she changed her life for to be all her would ever want but Jimmy broke her heart, which caused her to run to the only person who has been there for her through thick and thin, her best friend Kevin. Kevin was her best friend, who knew all about Keira and gave her no judgement. Kevin was the type of man who loved the girls and left them. No long term relationship for him and Keira thought that was the way Kevin liked it. And well you will have to read the rest if you want to know how it ends ;)

Keira is a pastry chef. She owns her own shop and has a great location. Unfortunately, it's not even her bright spot any more. She and Jimmy just broke up. Keira is sure she'll never get over Jimmy. He seems just a little to selfish for her tastes. Getting over a long term relationship is never easy. Time. It just takes time.

An easy read, this book is full of fire! Ms. Gates shows us just how blind we can be in relationships of all kinds. The writing is amazing and the characters are probably like some of your friends. It was agonizing to read all the trouble Keira had with Jimmy. Ms. Gates turns up the heat in this book as well. It will melt you. I really thought this was a good read and one we all need to re-read from time to time. Share this book with your friends and acquaintances, they'll all enjoy it. Add it to your library today!

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it was too hot to lay down. ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~

I received a free copy of this story for an honest review.

I enjoyed the story line but the leading female character drove me nuts! I just couldn't deal with her, it took me a few days to finish the story due to Keira, main character, driving me insane. I was so frustrated with her. she acted like a child in some instances and I couldn't take it.
Keira was in a relationship with Jimmy who is a total loser but she didn't want to see it. and then there's Kevin, Keira's best friend...him I loved from the get go
I don't know how Keira could have been so blind to Jimmy, he's a total douche and I don't like that the author made her such a twit when it came to him. there's a twist with Jimmy that I feel Keira should have confronted him about.
also, what about the doctor appt ~ one can basically figure out what the doctor told her but it would have been nice for the author to tell the reader
I'm having a hard time deciding on how many stars to give this book. the ending was ok, but I feel the author could have done so much more with the ending giving us readers one hell of a HEA

Review: This was the first book I read by this author and now i am hooked. When I started reading it I will admit I thought OH NO another whinny girl who is going to cry cause the guy breaks up with her. BUT I could not put the book down. I just had to keep reading to find out why Jimmy broke up with Keira and then I had to find out the dynamics of Kevin and Keira's relationship.

This is a very intense book. It has it's ups and downs relationship wise and it has some very very steamy scenes in it that had my panties melting. There where parts of this book were I was crying, and of course I was reading in bed during that time and hubs wanted to know what was wrong *how sweet*. The ending OH the ending..... I am so looking forward to reading more from this author.

Amelia Gates YOU are one amazing writer and can weave a story so that I felt like I was actually standing inside the room when Keira was getting slapped .

I highly recommend this book!

I was gifted this Book so here is my honest review.

First I want to say that I am a sucker for a second chance romance, a refined bad boy and a little kinkiness... So this book was right up my alley.
Second, When reading a book I love to feel the chactors emotions...like when a person is devastated I wanna feel the devastation... When a person feels loved, I too wanna feel the love... And that's exactly what I got from this book. I could feel what the chactors were feeling... And i freaking love that.
I would have loved to have read more of Kevin and Kiera, after they rekindled their relationship, an epilogue would have gave me a little more closure.
All in all I hope that this isn't the last that I read of Kevin and Kiera.
I want MORE
I need MORE

O the sex scenes... AWESOME!!!
Please have a second book.. Please
I need to know what else happens to these 2 lovebirds.
Please!!

I received a gifted copy of this book in exchange for my unbiased review. I really enjoyed the book. It was interesting to see how Keira's story was going to pan out. Although she did get on my nervews a bit with her being so indecisive about who and what she wanted. I was excited when she did finally choose the man she wanted and should be with. This book is drama filled, but then again it does relate to real life some. After all there are people that could be in the same situation that she's in (was in). You, like me, might be pulled into the book immediately from the begining. And even though you may get irritated, mad, upset, happy or whatever with some of the characters you might not want to put it down.

This book was one of the closest to real-life scenarios that I've ever read. It struck a chord with me on multiple levels. I found myself relating to Keira on so many levels that I kept finding myself saying, "oh my god," and "wow" (with a hand covering my mouth). And it wasn't because I couldn't believe what she was doing at time; but because I related to her. Her thought process, how she over thought a lot of things. Her stress level! This book was a really good read! Amelia Gates did a fantastic job in getting the reader inside Keira's brain. And although Keira brought frustration to the fore front, I admired her in the end for pushing through. Thank you for this book! I highly recommend it.

I was given a copy of this book by the author for my honest review. Keira is staying with her best friend Kevin after her boyfriend of four years, Jimmy dumps her. While mourning her breakup she starts noticing things about Kevin. Slowly she starts falling for Kevin, but realizes that everyone is keeping a big secret from her. Once the secret is revealed, will it destroy her or make her stronger and who will she choose Kevin or Jimmy? This was a great book with lots of drama and suspenseful moments. There were even lots of explosive erotic scenes that were very descriptive and definitely let you picture them in your mind. Pick up this book and make sure you read it till the end or you are missing out on a great find.

Kiera's boyfriend Jimmy breaks up with her after four years and she's and emotional mess. Who else to help her pick up the pieces but her best friend Kevin. This was to a point a love triangle. Kiera annoyed me a bit by not opening her eyes to Jimmy's lies. I mean, you have this great guy Kev, your best friend at that, what are you thinking!?!? Yet, everyone seems to have a secret that could tear them all apart once Kiera finds out. The secret? Wow! I'm pretty good at figuring these things out but this one even surprised me. I stayed up way past my bedtime to finish this. It was that good!!! I was hooked from the first page! Loved it!! I will be one the lookout for all of this authors books now!
