Adam James is a corn-fed, Nebraska raised, piece of man meat with a chiseled body and baby face. He is in desperate need of a paycheck and will do just about anything to get one, including stripping down to his skivvies and lathering up in baby oil. Solo Cohan is a quirky hipster with a strong work ethic, raised by two gay dads who are head over heels in love with Harrison Ford and Star Wars, hence the name, Solo. She works for Teeg Model Management, the same modeling agency that decides to book Adam as their next up and coming model. Sparks ignite between her and Adam the minute her baby oil soaked hand connects with his practically naked body. Even though Solo can't stop thinking about Adam during photo shoots, she quickly and awkwardly, shows Adam her distaste for male models and her inability to engage romantically with them. Adam is captivated by her nerdy talk and peculiar tendencies and sets out to make it his mission to turn the Star Wars loving hipster to the dark side, where mingling with models is widely arousing.

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.

I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.

Title: Newly Exposed
Series: Standalone
Author: Meghan Quinn
Release date: August 18, 2015
Cliffhanger: No
HEA

I came across this book completely by chance and the synopsis immediately intrigued me. It's the story of a male fitness model, Adam who is the opposite of every stereotype you could conceive of someone in that profession. He's humble, he's modest, and looks like your typical boy next door. Oh, except with a bangin' body and dimples to die for. He's not one to focus on his looks, but they may just be his saving grace at a time when he'd just about do anything to raise money for his ailing mother. And that includes signing his life over to Teeg Model Management.

When he walks in to audition for the agency, the poor guy is like a minnow thrown into a shark tank. He has no idea how bizarre his life is about to get. I almost felt bad for him. When I wasn't outright laughing, that is. His interview questions were interesting, to say the least.

"You didn't answer your penis size, at an erect state."
"Is that a real question?" I asked, trying not to sound insulting.
"Mr. James, do I look like a woman who has time to joke around?"
"No, Ma'am."
"Then answer the question."

Solo Cohan was a unique and quirky heroine. What I liked about her was that she was comfortable in her own skin. She's a girl who likes her comics, sports a casual/hipster style without apology, and is sassy enough to keep a bunch of testosterone fueled, muscle heads in line. She's in charge of the models' social media accounts and assists in such tedious tasks as rubbing the models down with baby oil for photoshoots. I know, what a rough life, right?

When Adam comes face to face with Solo, things start looking up for him. This is where the book really hooked me. I absolutely loved nerdy characters in books. I just eat them up with a spoon. Imagine my surprise and delight when I discovered that both main characters were as geeky as they come. They both shared a love of Star Wars that they immediately bonded over. Are you seeing a connection with the heroine's name? Yes, Solo was named after Han Solo by her two Harrison-Ford-obsessed gay dads.

These two were completely adorable with their nerdy banter. They had this instant connection and natural feeling comfort through the things they had in common. She wasn't afraid to be herself, because he seemed to be drawn to her even more so when she spoke her mind and put him in his place.

They were immediately attracted to each other, but Solo wasn't having any of it. She was burned by a model in the past and vowed to steer clear of dating any more, even if Adam is sweet, funny, and honest. Nothing like any of the other self-centered models she deals with on a daily basis. And as much as she tries to deny his requests for a date and his hot stares, he's gotten under her skin.

Adam's feelings did feel somewhat rushed for my taste. I loved his pursuit of her and his tenderness toward her, but I'm the type of reader that likes a more gradual and natural progression in feelings. Within a few days of meeting her, he was already pretty well obsessed with her. I was able to look past it for the most part because of how similar they were and how much they had in common. They were like the male and female version of each other, so it wasn't really past the realm of possibility that he would realize quickly they were made for each other.

This could have easily been a five star book for me but the heroine's excessive pushing away and her trust issues caused some unnecessary frustration. There were a couple points when I was not happy with her behavior towards him. I understand that she was hurt in the past, but here's this perfect guy who adores her, turns down every chance he gets to hook up with the women who flirt with him, and she can't get her shit straight.

I could see by the way the ladies were treated that none of the guys were into serious relationships, which was fine. I was just different. I enjoyed having a girlfriend, someone I could talk to, hold, and spoil.

Seriously, I wanted to shake her so hard at times!

When weighing the pros and cons, I could only take one star off in the end. My overall enjoyment far out shadowed my grievances. The humor was top notch, the story flowed fast and easy, and most of all, the plot was unique and addictive. If you're in the mood for a story about two sexy geeks who find love in the most unlikely place, then give this one a shot. I can't say I've seen any other book out there like this one, and that alone is worthy of praise in my opinion. Newly Exposed was fresh, frothy, and gave me a perma-grin for a large chunk of the book. I will definitely be checking out more from this author in the future.

ONE OF MY BEST READS
IN 2015 !!!

MUST READ !!! MUST READ !!! MUST READ !!!

THE PLOT!

This story was so UNIQUE ! Something different, something really, REALLY funny and OFF THE CHARTS - SEXY!
Exactly the oposite of my expections and it couldn't be better!!!
What would happen when you throw a bunch of sexy MALE MODLES in one house?!

Well you are about to find out!

After this book I would never look on famous male models in the media in the same way!

THE WRITING!

Soooooooooooooooo easy to read! So refreshing and intelligent!

WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THIS BOOK?

I adore EVERYTHING about this book! They way it melts your heart and panties! Ever since the first chapter I couldn't stop laughing.. what is better than THAT?! The fact that makes you smile and laugh so easily! The way that makes your heart break but repair it after that.. just PERFECT!!!

THE ROMANCE!

Adam & Solo
If there is the perfect man, the perfect hero, the perfect lover, the perfect boyfriend, the perfect goofy man and etc. .. that would be ADAM! !
SERIOUSLY! I am beyond inlove with this man! The man who wears the wight of the world on his shoulders and yet his heart in his sleeve! So honest, so funny, so honoroble, SO EFFING SEXY!!!!!!!!! The way he talked with his mother, aunt and his precious Solo ! The way he acted when he was shy about his effin' HOT body! The way he fought for his happiness, NEVER gave up when he wanted something or someone! The he was in the bedroom.. soft , yet hard ( PUN FREAKING INTENDED ), domineering, sweet, passionate and HOT ! I can talk ALL DAY when it's about him, but the thing I am praying about right now is to find a man LIKE HIM!

“God, I so want to cuddle the fuck out of you right now.”

When you think about a geek girl, Star wars and ninja turtles lover, you would never picture Solo ! She was so brilliant in her own kickass way! So sweet and yet badass! She wanted to protect her heart because she already suffered from it! But she ( and everyone else) could never resist Adam ! She had so unique still and her I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOU THINK attitude was amazing! She was so damn funny and even kinky . She loved her job and she was the best in it. Her dads were amazeballs and made me laugh so hard!

"Watch that tone, young lady. I'm not opposed to spanking you, although, is that something she enjoys now, Adam?"

She and Adam were perfect for each other. Even from the first day they met, they just clicked . You can never deny such connection! She was hard to get at first, but the constant batering between them and sharing their similar interest were too much not to give in in the relationship! I adore they way they with each other, SO REAL AND HONEST!

“You can speak geek to me any day, muffin.”

THE SMEXY scenes!

Talk about arousing!

DID YOU GET THE IDEA?!?
SEXY! HOT! SWEET! SEXY! HOT! HOT! HOT!

Did it made me sad and frustrated?

Of course! But I love that too! Like every couple they struggle from jealousy, trust-issues and some misunderstandings!
There were parts that really broke my heart AND I WASN'T IN THE PROPER PLACE TO CRY BUT I DID IT ANYWAY!!!

I wanted to shake them and tell to MAN UP/WOMEN UP and do the right thing..to open their eyes and forget about anything else! But nah , they did the wrongs things anyway!

But, of course , every thing worked out exaclty how was supposed to be - PERFECT! The ending was heart-melting and last words were one the most beautiful and truer I've ever read in my life! #TrueStory

MY FINAL THOUGHTS!

Unique, genious, beautiful, romantic, adorable, cute, funny and exquisite!!!!!

Thank you, Megahn Quinn for this amazing book!

Geeky romances are slowly becoming my thing, I love a nerd and this one was right up my street.

Adam is a down to earth guy, he's a country boy and likes the simple things in life. When he is in desperate need for cash to help out his mom, he gets a job working as a fitness model with the model agency Teeg Models.

He is completely out of his element, he is not used to being objectified and that's exactly what happens when he steps into this whole new world of fake parties and being fawned over.

Solo is the social media expert at Teeg Models, she wears cartoon leggings and ninja turtle pj's and doesn't care what anyone things of her quirky sense of style. She lives onsite at the models house, and has a strict 'no models' rule when it comes to relationships.

Her and Adam hit it off straight away, with Adam needing someone as grounded as she seems to be, and their shared love of Star Wars it's a match made in heaven. The trouble is, Solo has been hurt before in the past by a model, and so she is very hesitant to trust Adam, even though he has given her no reason not to. She made me wanna give her a slap at times, she was so determined he was going to cheat on her that she couldn't see what was right in front of her face. Other than that though, she was a great heroine and I thought she was adorable.

I really enjoyed the banter, and I will be very happy if this turns out to be a series because Adam's fellow model roomates are a interesting bunch of characters as was Solo's best friend, and the bitchy agency owner Zia.

Slight case of the instalove, but not too much to put me off completely.

I would definitely recommend.

This is a new adult romance, told in dual POV.

ARC gratefully received from the author in exchange for an honest review

Adam is a very good-looking guy that just needs to make some money to care of his mother. So he decides that modeling is his best shot, even though he never did it or consider it before. When he gets to the casting he meets Solo, the social media manager and the woman who helps running the agency. Solo is not like anyone he ever met, she’s a massive Star Wars fan, was raised by two dads, loves comic books and has just one rule: Never date models.
So when they both get attracted to each other, things get a little complicated. Adam is decided to have her, but first he needs to find out how to make her break her own main rule.

I had this book sitting for so long on my TBR and now I’m just asking myself why I didn’t read it sooner. This was a hilarious, sweet and very sexy romance and I loved every moment of it.
The heroes were very likable and adorable and despite some annoyances, I loved their relationship. The drama was a little predictable, but the book was so funny that it was easy to overlook it.
It was my first book by Meghan Quinn, but it will definitely not be the last.

Adam James is a small town boy who was raised right by his loving parents. His dad died while deployed and ever since, it just been him and his mom. Now that his mother has fallen ill, Adam had to quit school and is looking to find a well paying job to be able to afford all the extensive medical bills, that keep pilling up.

Adam is a very good looking guy; amazing body and a baby face. He lands a job as a male model in a company that represents models and turns them into over-night sensations. Adam is shy and not into himself at all, so from the first day on the casting interview he's having a hard time exposing his body.

Solo Cohan is the social media director for Teeg Model Management. She's the girl in charge of organizing the models; from schedules, to meals, beauty appointments, she does it all. Being in this business for so long she's totally jaded when it comes to hot guys and has one very important life rule, she doesn't date models. She's beautiful but kind of geeky and not a lot people get her, I personally think she's totally awesome.

 photo 568c83c9-9cd3-4702-8149-0d8a3f51cd8b_zpsbgnuypzi.jpg

Adam and Solo have a lot of things in common, starting with the deep devotion to Star Wards. He knew the moment he met the girl named after his favorite character Han Solo, that she was the one for him. These two are so geeky and cute together but Solo still harbors a lot of insecurities when it comes to dating a model and even though Adam is very different from the rest, she can't help to have such big trust issues and this will cause them a lot of problems, but nothing a Star Wars movie marathon can't fix.

I loved reading this story, the characters are young so this book has more humor and steam than drama, making for a very entertaining read. Reading this book gave a new perspective about all the hot guys I see and stalk on the internet, LOL!! Fun read I would definitely recommend it.

This book wasn't really for me. Started off with some insta love which didn't bug me much. The hero was so corny it was kind of cringeworthy. The conflict at the end annoyed me. So overall not my type of book.

My review:

Let me start off by saying, books about models and famous people, I usually stay away from. Nothing against them, they just don't interest me. I have to admit, I was a little worried about the hero being a male model, but little did I know, this book was such a little gem!

Basically Adam goes to a job interview at this top male model agency. He doesn't want to be a male model as his life's goal. He was just forced to quite college and get a job to pay for his mother's treatment. His mother had a failing heart and was in dire need of a heart transplant. What Adam was doing was very commendable. He was extremely self conscious and felt very weird about the whole thing ... that was until he met Solo.

When they first met, sparks and funny banter FLEW. Adam was immediately interested and asked her out. Solo wasn't having it no matter how much sexual tension was apparent between the two.

Adam doesn't tell Solo right away why he accepts the job, she is just disappointed that he did because she has trouble with trusting after her relationship with a different model (when she first started working there) ended up badly with his fame going to his head and him cheating on her. I feel like Solo was ALWAYS second guessing Adam when Adam gave her no reason to. She was very judgmental of him as well.

I have to say, no matter what, I LOVED Adam and I LOVED their banter. There were a couple of bumps along the way. First of all, I didn't agree with Solo not telling Adam that her ex that broke her heart was actual a male model that was living in the same house as Adam! I don't think it was fair that he didn't know. I mean, if the situation was turned around, how would SHE feel???? Having to see some asshole around EVERY DAY that the love of your life slept with??? Then the whole "misunderstanding?" Anyway, the point is - I loved Adam. Solo was okay, but very annoying at times. Their banter was awesome, but a longer epilogue would have been really nice!

I am not sure if I will read more from this author or not. One of her other books had the hero

Newly Exposed is another hit for Meghan Quinn!!

Oh how I love Adam - you can't help but love this man. He's the quirky guy we all love with a hot body to boot! I don't think Meghan could have written a more perfect guy than Adam. He put himself out there and doesn't hide who he is - a nerdy guy from a small town.

Solo - love her name and love her! She knows who she is and owns it. She doesn't care what anyone thinks of her and does her own thing. I love this about her.

When these two meet - sparks immediately fly - instantaneous friends thanks to their love of Star Wars; and the fact that Solo will never date a Teeg model. Adam has his work cut out for him, to say the least. LOL

"My strong veneer faded in seconds once Adam popped up in my life and started talking all Jedi on me. God, I was pathetic."

I loved reading this whole story - from start to finish. I couldn't put it down. I love the nuances and the banter between everyone. I was laughing out loud at parts, smiling pretty much the whole time and just loud the overall feeling of this book. All I am saying is "cannolied." LMAO!

Newly Exposed is very sweet and funny romance. However, there are some scenes that will make you all hot and bothered. Adam may be a Star Wars geek - but that man knows how to use his light saber (yea, I had to add the corny pun). And when you read the story, you will get how funny that is both the joke and the corniness of it. :)

If you have not read anything by Megan Quinn, you need to read Newly Exposed. You are guaranteed to fall in love with her writing style! I remember every one of her books so well - they stay with me looooong after I have finished them.

Meghan was become one of the authors that I will drop whatever I am doing and read any book of hers when it is released (or an ARC cause she rocks like that). Her whit and humor always come through in her books but it's the overall delivery that absolutely wins me over time and time again. She mixes the humor, hot and sexy scenes along with some angst in a perfected packed book!

Put the phrases "corn-fed, Nebraska-raised," "Star Wars," and "nerdy" all in the same book blurb, and I couldn't hit the BUY NOW button fast enough. Normally, I avoid a new adult romance book, but the thought that not one, but both MCs were sci-fi movie geeks of the first order made my little heart go pitter-patter. Happily, Meghan Quinn liberally spreads the geekdom around, as both Solo (yes, named after Han Solo) and Adam not only quote Star Wars catchphrases, but also have adorably awkward moments. But they both own it, and that makes this novel a ton of fun to read.

Solo Cohan is the Girl Friday for Zia Teeg, owner and photographer for Teeg Models. Immediately after hayseed Adam James painfully stutters his way through his first modeling interview, he finds himself in barely there underwear with hot Solo spreading baby oil all over his pecs for a test shoot. The two hit it off immediately, bonding over - you guessed it - Star Wars. Despite being out of his element, Adam is well-grounded and modest, and there are early hints that he has had trials and tribulations in his young life. He's also not a player. He knows this about himself and approaches potential relationships with a solid maturity that book boyfriends seldom exhibit at the age of 20.

"I enjoyed having a girlfriend, someone I could talk to, hold, and spoil."

Solo and Adam are cutey, cute, cute together. At times I felt like I was working on a cavity from the sweetness and thoughtfulness being tossed around, but I decided to go with it since it has been ages since I read about a young couple who were actually nice and respectful to one another. The niceties stopped at the door to the bedroom, though, because these two were seriously hot for each other. And maybe up for a little cosplay. Clearly, as a fitness model, Adam doesn't in any way resemble any of the guys on Big Bang Theory, and this geeky boy's got game.

"Not that I didn't like his goofy persona, I loved it actually, but in the bedroom, it was such a thrill to see him change into a domineering man."

Until about 85% of the way into the book, the drama was on the low side. Watching these two get to know one another - along with their colorful families and the amusing guys in the model house - was terrific. The misunderstanding was telegraphed from a million miles away, but the last 15% of the book still held tension and elements of the unknown. I was a little disappointed in the brief epilogue, but perhaps we'll see more of Solo and Adam if Meghan Quinn picks up with some of the other Teeg Modeling men.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away…

It is a period of turmoil. A mother’s illness, medical bills striking from a hidden base, are threatening to overthrow peace in the galaxy. During the battle, our hero Adam is forced to join a modelling agency with his ultimate weapon, HIS BODY, an armoured abdomen and dimpled smile with enough power to destroy the wombs of an entire planet’s female population. Here, he meets Solo, an attraction is established.

Pursued by the Empire’s sinister agents of fame, jealousy and insecurities, Our MCs must face these agents, and overcome their enemies to restore freedom to the galaxy….

And that’s our story, kind of.

This book was EPIC.

I was absolutely hooked.

It had me giggling like a dork from the very first page. I forgot about everything and ignored everything until I was done with this book. I loved the banter between the two geeky MCs, they were so adorably awkward.
I loved Solo and her quirkiness but had her share of issues and at times I got annoyed with her for being stubborn, overly jealous and sulky.

Adam had no qualms about flaunting his dorky side and had moments of such sweetness and yet went so intense at other times he had my vagina going all:

The MCs had delicious chemistry and the sexy times were just as amazing (and at times as quirky) as they were

I even loved the secondary characters who were equally odd in their own ways and just added to the comedy of this book.

I would absolutely recommend this book (but pack a snack before you go in because you won’t want to come up for air).

Also, a special mention goes out to Gunner and Adam’s giant… umm…

Gonna come right out and say that I did not like the way Solo treated Adam. She hurt him way too many times for me to be ok with this book. The first time, when she basically ducked and covered when they were out at the pool. Yeah, she apologized and he forgave her. But then not once, but twice, her trust issues caused her to piss all over our hero. Our wonderfully perfect hero. Who deserved better than Solo.

Sure, sure, I understand Solo's trust issues. I get it. But she let them twice color her vision of things she heard about Adam. Maybe the first time I could get it but not the second. Especially since she wasn't all Miss Honesty in this relationship to begin with, letting him find out the truth about Ty on his own.

This book had so much going for it because they were such a cute couple but she just highly pissed me off with her trust issues. Adam never gave her one reason to mistrust him. The only reason she did is because he was a new model like her last fuck up, so of course, he would be the same.

I just couldn't enjoy this book anymore after the way she kept hurting Adam. Did not like heroine.

Let me give you examples of how much Adam said to convince her he was a good guy:

“Stop,” he bent down and pressed his lips gently, like a whisper, against mine, and my entire stomach flipped upside down. When he pulled away, he stroked my hair and said, “Stop denying your feelings and just accept them. I don’t care about your model phobia, because I’m different, and you know it. I see you for who you are, Solo, not the package you came in. So, don’t treat me like every other guy out there who only knows how to eye fuck you, because I see the nerdy beautiful girl you are and I want nothing more than to have you in my life.”

“I could never hurt you, Solo, you’re too damn precious to me.”

Me and Adam having the same feelings:
Fuming wasn’t even close to describing how I was feeling. Once again, she didn’t trust me. Instead of asking me about what happened, she jumped to conclusions and assumed the worst of me. Did I really treat her that terribly, that she would automatically assume that I would use her? I’m pretty sure I poured my heart and soul into everything when it came to her.

Where I actually agree with Solo:

Tears ran down my cheeks at the idea of me so easily destroying him last night. I was a monster, and I didn’t deserve to be with him, but right now, I had to offer my shoulder, even if he didn’t want it.

YOU SURE AS SHIT DON'T!!!!

This could've been the end of the book and I would've been fine with it:

I was blown back by how fast he turned around and got in my face. He seethed as he said, “Like the way you listened to me? No, Solo, we’re done. The moment you second-guessed my faithfulness to you, for the second time, I was done with you. There’s only so much I could do to try to convince you that my fucking heart was in your hands. I gave you everything, I gave you fucking everything,” he choked on his words and turned around, while grabbing the top of his head in frustration.

The two stars? I gave an extra star for Adam because he deserved it.

“He was sweet, funny, and damn it, he liked Star Wars. He was almost my type, except for the fact that he was about to be standing in a scrap of underwear, rubbed down in oil in front of Zia and Meryl. He was a model, and that meant off limits.”

Newly Exposed by Meghan Quinn is a flirty, fun and geeky read that is a good way to pass a lazy day. Lighthearted and low angst following Solo, a PR specialist at a modeling agency and Adam the Nebraskan raised new model who has his eyes set on Solo. Adam is beyond sweet and patient with Solo and works hard to become her friend before pursuing more. Nerdy and Funny these characters were right up my alley!

“You can speak geek to me any day, muffin.”

Solo’s reluctance to give him a chance had me gritting my teeth and rejoicing when the moment finally arrived. I loved Solo’s dad’s and Adam’s beyond sweet mom and the entire cast of characters that lived in the model house. It is clear that the author took an artistic license to the model world so when dive into the book don’t take it too seriously and instead sit back and enjoy the ridiculous and sweet ride!

While I enjoyed the story there were parts of dialogue that felt forced for me and made me cringe, mainly when any "older" character talked, such as her dads.

"Watch that tone, young lady. I'm not opposed to spanking you, although, is that something she enjoys now, Adam?"

or his mom

"Don't worry, honey, we're not old biddies; we know you youngins have overactive libidos,"

By my calculations his mother would be in her 40s or early 50s and this sounded too old for me. Probably done in jest and meant to be funny it just stood out to me as a tad odd and was worth mentioning. It didn't happen often and was not a make or break point for me.

“God, I so want to cuddle the fuck out of you right now.”

Overall, I enjoyed the book but I will say that it felt a tad too long for the story. Still a good read that was easy to get through and had plenty of moments that had me snickering and giggling. I loved Adam and Solo while frustrating at times warmed my heart too. I am looking forward to hearing the stories of the other men in house and finding out what secrets they are hiding behind their man whorish ways!

Gente, que livro foi esse? Adorei.

É daqueles que terminamos ficamos

Fez eu me sentir tão bem, o coração chega fica leve!

Hmmmmm

Where does she come up with this stuff???
"I prefer to say... grooming the Wookie."
She was drop dead, tent pitching gorgeous.

Not even in my head can I think up shit this funny, but she does it seamlessly, yet again. This had me laughing beginning to end. Outbursts, belly laughs, gut busters, make my neighbors think 'what the hell is wrong with her?' laughs, and everything in between.
For a good time call Teeg Model Management and ask for Mr. James or Solo, or just got READ THIS already.

This was adorably hilarious! Adam and Solo were major nerds together. And from the moment they met, it was obvious they were meant for each other. This book was quirky and fun, with a bit of extra steam, because you cant have a book without a few steaming hot scenes right? Or is it just me?

Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Adam has reached a level of desperation for money that he has decided to audition as a fitness model, a job that sometimes requires him to expose a little more of himself than he’s comfortable with. Originally from Nebraska, he is in L.A. with his mom and aunt as his mom fights her battle against cancer, which has depleted the family’s funds completely. In danger of losing her place in the treatment facility of their choice, Adam has decided he’ll do whatever it takes in order to keep her there in order to reclaim her health. But when Adam shows up on set, looking out of place and easily intimidated by the agency’s panel, he has to prove that he’s right for the job. After convincing them he’s the right choice, his career takes off, but not without the help of Solo, the photographer’s assistant and all-around badass.

Solo, the product of two gay dads with a Han Solo obsession, has worked for Teeg models since the age of eighteen, assisting with shoots, wardrobe and marketing. She lives on the same grounds as the models, however not in the same house, leading to a close-knit relationship with all of the guys. After a failed relationship with a model, she has sworn them all off, not wanting to get burned again once they hit it big. But when geeky Adam signs with the agency, she falls and falls hard. Their mutual love of Star Wars and all things geek quickly proves that they just may have been made for one another, but Solo’s lack of faith coupled with the walls she’s constructed around her heart may be the undoing of their relationship before they even have a chance.

“How long is your penis?”
Was she for real? When did how long is your penis and how many times do you work out become casual questions in a job interview?
“I-I’m not sure,” I answered honestly. “I never measured him before.”
“A smile spread across her face. “Ahh, you call your penis a him.”
“Well, he’s not a girl, if that’s what you’re implying.”
“Does he have a name?”
The minions all looked up and waited on the edge of their seats for my answer. Did I want this job that bad that I should continue to answer these questions?
Yeah, I needed money…badly, so I swallowed my pride and mumbled out his name so it was barely audible to my own ears.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t hear that, what’s his name?”
My hands ran down my face and I said, “Just-In Beaver.”
The room rang silent.

Adam’s naiveté makes for some spectacularly hilarious moments, but also makes him completely loveable. He’s the kind of guy that finds a girl in Wonder Woman Underoos just as hot as the girl in the skimpiest of lingerie. And Solo, it’s so nice to encounter a character that isn’t ditzy, isn’t caught up in the fact that she’s constantly surrounded by scantily clad men, and can hold her own around the guys. She’s the antithesis of her best friend and co-worker Nolly, who regularly hooks up with the models and gives them the reigns in the relationship.

“Is that some kind of reference to a woman’s lady garden?” Thaddeus asked, as he tried to understand the reference. “I believe that call it a muff? Am I right Bashty?”
“Oh my God.” Solo said into her hands, after she set her doughnut down. “Dad, please don’t say muff."
"I think a muff is referring to a lady garden that hasn’t been properly landscaped,” Sebastian offered.
“Oh, dear,” Thaddeus said, looking over at Solo. “Honey, please don’t tell me you have a muff.”

One of the biggest highlights of the book is the relationship between Solo and her dads. They are over the top hilarious, yet the love they have for their daughter is obvious. Quinn has created characters that are easy to fall in love with, and you just can’t help to root for underdog Solo in the vapid world that can be modeling.

“Don’t worry, honey, we’re not old biddies; we know you have youngins have overactive libidos,” my mom assured.
Nodding her head, Solo looked at me and said, “Well did he at least tell you that when he jumped off the bed in shock from seeing my dads barge in, instead of shaking hands, he curtsied as if the Queen of England was standing in front of him, and when he got up, he cut wind louder than a freaking blow horn?”

If Adam weren’t hot enough simply because of the way he interacts with Solo, then his relationship with his mom and aunt will make you fall in love. He’s the All-American boy next door, and the lengths that he’ll go to for him family feel genuine and downright swoonworthy.

Quinn has crafted a laugh out loud story with heart, something we’ve come to expect from her. The book is written in a first person, dual POV, giving the reader great insight into the thoughts and motivations of each of the characters. It is well written, if not a little a little predictable, but all of the hilarious elements that make Solo’s life in particular completely overshadow that. The relationship between Solo and Adam is equal parts sweet and sizzling, and you’ll be sucked in from the very first page. If you need a quick pick me up, something to put a smile on your face that will last for a long while, check this one out. You’ll be happy you did.

I am Newly Exposed to this author, and after this delightfully funny read—one with a lot more heart than you might initially think—I will absolutely be coming back for more.

Adam James needs cash, and he needs it yesterday. When the opportunity arises for him to join Teeg Models and make money off his built-body and sweet, sexy face, he’s going to take it. He’s that desperate.

Joining the agency introduces him to the quirky, nerdy, beautiful Solo Cohan—a woman named for the bad-ass Millennium Falcon captain, and the girl responsible for oiling up the models…among other things.

Adam can’t resist Solo, but she’s not the type to date the talent. No matter how compatible they are with her dorky tendencies. He’s determined to win her over, but it’s going to take some finessing. And a selfie or two…

I loved this book!! Seriously, it was addictive as hell, super funny (you should have seen me, cackling as I crouched beside the baby’s bed, trying not to disturb his needy bedtime routine, but refusing to stop reading) and really quite sexy. And, like I said, it also has a lot of heart.

Adam is the sweetest. He’s corny as hell, has some questionably girly tastes but can be domineering and creative when the *ahem* mood arises. It’s amazing. He’s amazing, and I adore him, especially how he banters with Solo. Who I am 100%, unabashedly girl-crushing on. I mean, come on. SHE’S NAMED AFTER HAN SOLO and has two hilarious gay Dads. Stick a fork in me, I. Am. Done!

Newly Exposed rocked me. I am not ashamed to admit that I very nearly cried. Like, one more blink and those bad boys would have been racing down my cheeks. Nor am I concerned about admitting that I literally felt my heart pounding at one point. Oh, and that I had that I-don’t-want-to-keep-reading-because-I’m-concerned-this’ll-break-my-heart-if-I-do thing happening as things came to a head. Whew, all those emotions, packed into one quirky, playful, funny book. Yeah, I may be a first-timer when it comes to Meghan Quinn, but I will definitely be back for more. Especially if it’s Nolly and Scout… ~ Beth, 5 stars

Oh my… This book was good. Really good.
It’s my first Meghan Quinn book and I swear, it won’t be the last.
I laughed and swooned so much reading it.

Solo, daughter of two lovers of Star Wars works for Teeg Models. She’s the queen of social network and is supervising and scheduling the life of those super-hot models… After a bad relationship, she gives up dating model.
But she didn’t count on Adam, with his baby face and love for Harrison Ford and Star Wars…
Adam meanwhile, arrives at Teeg Model in the hope of being able to help his mother and pay her hospital bills. When he sees Solo, he is immediately attracted to this confident woman, who matches his nerdy side.

Full of insecurities toward the fact he is a model, Solo refuses Adam’s advances, and God know he tries. But this man is persistent.... With his corny sense of humour, Solo's walls little by little fall down.

" - Ah, you call your penis a him.
Does he have a name?

-My hands ran down my face and I said " Just-in Beaver" "

I loved this book. There are few authors who make me laugh out loud. I often smile but laugh so hard I wake my husband in the middle of the night ... Never.

I think I'm a bit in love with Adam. He is adorable, cute, and a real nerd.
And the fact that he is a dominating male in the bedroom... * swoon *

A strong man knowing what he wants with a vulnerable side is my undoing...

"It's the act of stripping down your soul, baring yourself to someone else, letting them know your dreams and goals, that's what truly makes you feel exposed, and until you do that, until you completely strip your emotions open for the one person in your life who can make you or break you, then you're not living"

This book is the perfect example of a funny sweet, and sexy story. It deals with self-esteem, commitment, trust, and proves that when you give yourself to someone else, the other one helps you battle your fears.

Wow I really enjoyed this one. It was super cute and surprisingly HOT! I don't know maybe it's me but I don't remember being 20 yrs. old and the guys were sexual dynamos in bed?!?! But good for Solo because Adam (Axel) was super sexy. Solo was quite the vixen in the bedroom. I'm telling you it's always the quiet ones. I do believe this author left this open to be a series because of all of the guys. I wonder what's going to happen to Nolly for instance? I really liked the concept of this. A modeling agency for book covers and such. We all drool over these guys and sometimes it's the reason you read a book so that was cool. I look forward to reading more from this author!!

When I first saw that this would be a book centered around a male model (and maybe cover models) I was both intrigued and weary. I guess being around the book world long enough and seeing these models in real life and talking to them, you get disappointed at the majority of them. I was dreading a meat head. But rest assured! That is not what this is about!!! In fact, Adam is the models' anti-model. He's down to earth, smart, funny, sexy, hot and geeky! He's resorted to modeling because he just needs the cash. And there's a good reason he does.

His one ally in this crazy world, where he goes to live at the "model" house sort of like a reality show but just not on TV, is Solo. She's one of the girls that keeps the photographer's life running and manages the model's schedules. Sometimes assists at shoots. And she's Adam's geeky other half. Their connection is instant and I honestly loved their easy banter and quick chemistry. They are just too sweet together!

But while I found the romance really cute, I couldn't wrap my brain around some of the more serious subjects that we are trying to deal with as well. How can we be battling a life threatening moment, and the next we are talking about his dating life like nothing happened? That took some away from the serious aspects of the story and I sort of discarded the feels that I should've had for that.

Even though this is not reality TV, it sort of reads like one. So if you are into those reads (and I have been in the past) then you'll enjoy this one! I wish there would've been a bit better conflict between the characters, and a bit more depth to the story, but it's a cute read with really likeable characters. I wouldn't mind reading more about some of them!

I was so excited to be able to read an early copy of this new stand alone by Meghan Quinn. I first discovered her work with the Jett Girl books and I became an instant fan! I absolutely love her writing. Meghan has a unique way that she spins her stories that make you laugh and cry and just get all the feels…

This new one was a fantastic story of a guy that’s willing to do what it takes to get the money to take care of his dying mother’s hospital bills, even if that means selling his body… And no I don’t me that way! He’s going to be the hottest new model on the circuit and his new boss will do whatever it takes to make him a star! He’s not like the other models who are full of themselves and think they are gods gift to women everywhere. He’s down to earth and it’s just a job to him, not a way to meet women… Well expect for his fellow employee of course… Now he’s got his eye sent on her and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make her his.

Solo works for the agency and her one rule is no dating the models. She’s been burned you see, and well, she’d rather cut off her arm then go through that again. But when Adam starts to persue her she can’t help but fall for him. He’s so different then the other guys. He’s smart and funny and they have tons in common, but her hang ups are keeping her from making the step that Adam wants.

The push and pull between these two in and out of the bedroom will have you melting. Meghan sure knows how to bring the heat to a story. You will laugh at the antics of the guys in the house and you will cry right along with Solo and Adam during their worst moments. I really enjoyed this one beginning to end. If you’re looking for a great story with some sweet and sassy, yet funny and down to earth characters look no further. Newly Exposed has all of that and more… And don’t forget the house full of hot male models! I give this one 4 glittery starlet stars!!!

I just finished reading Newly Exposed by Meghan Quinn. I LOVED IT! I know it's fiction but this somehow gave me a view of just how interesting the male fitness modeling industry is. WHAT A GREAT READ this book is! Witty, vibrant, and sexy! Adam and Solo had their ups and downs but they were a fun couple ...and they both were Star Wars fanatics , which made them the coolest hottest book couple ever. Meghan Quinn is really one super awesome writer! 5+ Stars for this book! I can't wait to read the next books in the Exposed Series!

Newly Exposed was my second book by Meghan Quinn, after picking up and loving The Virgin Romance Novelist earlier this year I was excited for what Ms Quinn did next, Newly Exposed is definitely a sexy, quirky romance, in saying that I was actually quite surprised by my reaction to it, not because I didn't expect to enjoy it, but because I was surprised by the different emotions and feelings this dragged out of me, I expected this funny, sexy story and I got so much more.

Adam James is in a tough spot, he's desperate for money, and he needs it quick smart, good thing he's got that sexy face and chiseled body working in his favour, a casting call for Teeg Model Management might just be the answer to his dreams, even if it means strutting around in his underwear and flashing his family jewels to the world. Adam has a small town charm, he's a quintessential nice guy, he's not a womaniser, he respects women, and this world of male models that he's slowly entering is so far out of his comfort zone that his shock and surprise to this world is both hilarious and endearing.

Solo Cohen is the quirky, cool young woman who is half of the famous duo of Teeg Model Management, she has few rules in life, choosing to live without strict regulations placed on herself, but she does make sure to stay away from male models, after all they're fuelled by testosterone and their libido, incapable of monogamy when the hordes of women come chasing them. Named after her two dad's favourite Star Wars character, Solo is part sex goddess and part sci fi /90s television geek, she instantly catches Adam's eye.

Quinn is afraid to turn the tables on the stereotype here, sure the models tend to be womanising playboys, but she also shows another side where the attention and women throwing themselves at them isn't always welcome, I adored the dichotomy of the warring sides of Adam's personality, he's strong and sexy and dominant, and yet he's also sweet and innocent and loving, there's a resilience to him, never giving up despite how many hits he takes, and every part of him compliments Solo with her take no shit independent woman front that she keeps erected to stem the attention that is thrown her way, while hiding the softer part of her that's terrified of getting hurt.

There are moments of absolutely hilarity in Newly Exposed, it's sexy as hell, and yet has an innate sweetness to it, there's a beautiful message to this story about allowing yourself to be vulnerable, tearing down the walls to let someone in, and be willing to open yourself to new experiences despite how much they scare you. With glimpses of supporting characters Quinn has left me wanting more from this series, hoping for more books and more quirky moments.

I hope you're ready to smile, laugh out loud, and need a cool drink because this book will do all of that to you and more. I think I fell a little in love with this book before I even started it. The cover really caught my eye with it's vivid colors and then the blurb took care of the rest. There was no hardship falling in love with Adam and Solo.

Adam and Solo had so much in common; It wasn't just the pull between them. I loved how both were geeky and enjoyed similar things like Star Wars. I liked how both of them were kind and hard workers. I also really enjoyed how stubborn and determined they both were. Solo is many things but one thing she's really good at is her job and she enjoys it. I loved seeing her try to fight her attraction to Adam. It was easy to relate to her fears of starting anything with someone she had to work with especially since she'd been so hurt in the past.

Adam was a total dream. I mean he's ripped, packing, smart, and hot (but doesn't know it). He's a charmer while being honest and he's so down to earth. I loved how he was with his family. It really showed where his priorities were. I liked Adam's interactions with the other models in the house. He never let any of the other guys show him down. I even liked that he became friendly with some of them. I loved how he was patient and considerate of Solo's fears but yet set on getting past them.

As with any Meghan Quinn book there are a lot of emotions mixed with laughter. Newly Exposed was no different. I laughed a lot and there were times when my heart was in my throat. I loved how dispersed they were through out the story. There were some really emotional moments that I felt set the tone for the book. I'm really hoping Meghan turns this into a series. It's not just that I want more Adam and Solo, but because I see the potential for the other manwhore models to find significant others. Meghan did a great job at writing about the models and what goes into their every day lives. I learned quite a bit while reading this book, like the urban term blumpkin, or the fact there's something called erotic modeling that's every bit delicious as it sounds. Like I said earlier, if you're in the mood for a great read that'll make you laugh and maybe cry, Newly Exposed needs to be at the top of you're reading list.
