This is one of the weirdest books I have read. It is a super quick read. But I don't get how some smart IT girl just up and bangs this guy at a gala, with barely any conversation. It was so ridiculous that you sit there going; SERIOUSLY, instead of getting invested in the characters. Not interested in the other books in the series.

So, I got this free book off Amazon... Enjoy reading it... But then I noticed it would cost me 6 more dollars before I could finish the series... Yep, that was this book... Not sure it's worth the additional money. I hate a cliffy. :-(

I am a little undecided about the book. Not really sure how I feel. It was okay but it was short. There wasn't much story there. Just a whole lot of sex. Then it was over but it left a cliffhanger that suggested there might be a real story there. Will I read book two? Not sure.

Haha. I love this! A quick, hot and fun read. One of the reasons why I love Olivia Thorne's work.
I love Eve even from the beginning. And Grant? Yes, please!
I need to get on with book 2 now.

Eve is a computer genius and meets handsome Grant Carlson who is a billionaire architect but also has some secrets. When he gets into trouble he needs to hire someone he can trust but has no ties to him. He risks meeting Eve but then they hook uk and she feels scorned so does what she does best, hacks him !

He thought she was the best person for the job and proves it but now he has dragged her into danger! Will they be able to survive?

This was a quick read and build up to what's next... I live how this played out. Initially I was like, "seriously could all this have gone into 1 or two books. I mean 30 pages wtf...
But I loved the build up and the keep u coming back for more vibe... It was unusual but oh so effective. Olivia Thorne gave us just enough with a killer cliffy and you just had to get the next book.
This review will probably be copy and pasted for the first 4 books. Book 5 the finale will have something more....

Pretty decent mashup of suspenseful thriller and romance. Despite the length, the last several chapters felt kind of thrown together and the cliffhanger was not well done. It felt like an addition simply to tease the next book/series. Otherwise, overall okay.

Great start

Loved the hacker point of view though I am not usually fond of first person narratives. The first encounter is mesmerizing.

GGGRRR I fricken hate novels like this one that you can read in less than hour but sucks you in big time so you have no choice to buy all of the series especially when it is made out to be a stand alone story.

So super quick, hot storyline of the token hot as geek, Eve that can hack anyone and anything and her meeting of hot billionaire Grant Carlton. He screws her literally during a charity event she attended for her company but it seems Mr Carlton has more than a quick fuck in a secret passageway on his mind when he meets colourful Eve.

She is just the woman he needs to help him overcome a personal threat. Just a shame pissing off a to smart for her own good hacker has her declaring war on the man that screwed her over... Dead man walking, until he turns up at her work, her mad tech skills has him more than a little taken by this super smart woman. Game on - I'm on Eve's side on this one.

Warning cliffhanger! ! !

Intrigue, geeks and smoking hot

Okay, so this starts off slow and weird, like the girl is talking to herself and it's kind of creepy. Then it turns out that she's a geek which explains the rambling, but she's kind of narcissistic and again, she is super smart, so you can go with it. Then the due comes on the scene and he's throwing down some hot magic that you will need to read through at least twice to make sure you don't miss anything The twist at the end is compelling and as the plot thickens I can't wait to read the next installment!

Too much

This story was a straight sex free for all. At least for.... Until the end with a sexy surprise ending. No HEA though but this book is part of a series. Have fun I'm going to read volume 2.
