Basic but a good point to start cleaning, because is more about cleaning than decluttering. Even though give some ideas that may be useful.

If your house is a mess and you don't know how to start making it a happier place to be - this book is for you.
It is not ground breaking, nor something you won't find described somewhere else. However, what I liked about it and found very useful was that it is giving a plan to conquer clutter which takes you room by room, with relevant suggestions and tips on how to handle this cumbersome task. Unfortunately I didn't find it very useful for me since I am not in a life stage when I'd need all those suggestions, yet it was sometimes nice to be reminded some things.

Okay

This was very blah and basic. There was no "step by step." I love organizing and enjoy decluttering. I like reading and learning about it. I do it all the time. This taught me nothing and it wouldn't help anybody that actually had a clutter problem. I would stick with books by organizing professionals.

Reads like a cheerleader wrote it

That’s not to say I didn’t like it. I think it’d be very inspiring to have a cheering crowd erupt every time I finished cleaning a room. There’s really not an revelations in the book. Go into “such and such” room, now clean it. Gee, thanks. I wouldn’t have figured that out by myself!

Advice?

If you would benefit from suggestions, such as:
-Put dirty dishes in your dishwasher daily
-Throw away empty bottles of detergents
-Remove clothes from the floor
Then, by all means please read the book.
Personally I found the advice basic, and was definetely looking out for smarter tips.

Quick read!

It is wonderful how the book was set up, focusing on one room at a time. The tasks were broken down, allowing a manageable process to be followed. It is refreshing to see that perfection was not the main goal. Instead, the emphasis was on making these tasks into habits. The book created a helpful guide that can easily be incorporated .

Basic and Helpful

There are some great tips on how to prioritize and the best methods to tackle. A lot seems like common sense tasks but cleaning up clutter really should be that easy. Since it’s not we at least have some books to help with the task!

Conquer Clutter...or just clean

I'm glad this ebook was free. It does not inspire to declutter, it just tells you to clean, set dishwasher going & do laundry, every day/other day jobs!! Every room is set the same through the book, walk in, dust, move some papers, sort laundry.

To the point

Gives good advise on how to clean up clutter. All is direct and to the point and you can do it in steps like take 10 minutes to dust all the flat surfaces in a room or do just one portion like clean off the kitchen table.

Conquer clutter

Simplistic cleaning and light organizing tips. I think I would be unnerved by cleaning on the author’s schedule, but that is how I am. There are some helpful hints so the book has value.

Easy Read

The book is short, concise and easy to read. Anyone who is a messy-head will benefit from this book. The book makes the cleaning inspiring and interesting. So, take the tour of the book and have an informative "cleaning lesson."

A short book, but it's full of good tips on getting organized. Good for someone without the time to read a more thorough dive into reducing clutter.

I had only downloaded a sample. What I did read was informative, Some might say it's common sense however for many a lot of this is not common sense, from tossing garbage to making a bed

Good Ideas for Unorganized People

There is a lot of good information for the not so organized person. The really unorganized or almost hoarder would not find this book as useful.

Quick ideas

While these are great ideas, they are for non hoarders. It would be helpful if suggested cleaners were included. This is a good starter guide.

I wouldn’t call it an organizing book. Maybe a tidying book.

Gentle reminder

This book doesn‘t claim to contain the magic answers! It does contain gentle reminders of things most of us already know!

Not what I was looking for

I was hoping to get some organizing tricks and strategies. This was more about just cleaning your home. This might be helpful to some, but it is not what I needed.
