Ehhhhh 2.5 stars I guess. It was free smut, so my standards weren't too high. But the sex : plot ratio was unbalanced and the whole wasn't believable. The sex is plentiful and often steamy, but the plot isn't strong enough to back it up.

Incredible storytelling and hot, sexy BDSM! I really enjoyed the storyline as well as the hot sex - it was intriguing, taking me into a whole new world I didn't know that much about. I love how Luca and Cassie were drawn together first becoming friends and then much more. There was a lot inside this book - finding yourself, figuring out what you really want and what makes you happy, strong women, men who admit there weaknesses, hot erotic romance, friendship, love, betrayal, and even HEA! Can't wait to read the next one in the series!

OMG, If I needed to watch porn or a good book with porn, this would be it. It kept me glued to the book. The sex scenes, were well descriptive, and just the imaginations, of a Sub or Dom. I think it was better then Fifty Shades of Grey. It had so many people involved, i was amazed. The characters well described, here's Cassandra from Kansas, coming to LA. and wanting to be a great photographer, working with a great photographer named Didier. But Didier's photography were lets say, kinky as hell! So seeing these types of pictures being taken in one particular case, Morgan, made her want to taste her. Something in her, but Cassie is not gay, just intrigued. And this is where it all starts.
Lucas, neighbor across the hall, has seen Cassie here and there, finds her Bellisima, he's Italian, and he's Hott!! He has Janelle his Ex Dom, wanting Lucas back, but he's done with her. He finds himself a new gig, working in New York, but Janelle is not an easy person, she wants to blackmail Lucas if he doesn't return to her.
Stefan is Janelle's new sub, since Lucas left, he's there for her just for the extravagance, but nothing more, in a shoot with Didier, Stefan meets Cassandra, and Janelle likes Cassandra also, and let her play a little, but was jealous because she wanted Cassandra too, but lets say, Didier beat her to the punch, because secretively until Cassandra knew what she wanted, she was learning to be a Sub herself with Didier.
Then there is Joel, who Cassandra meets in one of Didier's ron de vue, to find out, Didier likes men too, and Joel is Didier's Sub, and Gay, but Didier has let Joel get to have fun with Cassandra, pretty interesting for him since he likes only Men, but Cassandra is learning a lot of kinkiness and is loving it, afraid what her neighbor will think of her, because Cassandra really sees Lucas very hot guy she would love to be with.
Then there is Colin, Cassandra's ex, there relationship did't work out because it was kind of boring, but after the taste with Morgan, she wanted some release, and she knew if she could go to Colin, just for a booty call, he would, but she wanted to see about being a little domineering with Colin, and she was loving it, so was Colin, he never seen Cassandra like this, but Cassandra was just kind of practicing. She wish she could have Lucas and do dirty things. Once Colin finds out what Cassandra is doing he then would like to see if he can do this with other people, Cassandra finds him the connection.
Well lets say, at the end, in a shooting she is flied to New York, where Lucas is working, and also Janelle shows up. They all happened to find out the truth one another, Cassandra and Lucas. Even Stefan.
I loved the book to the end. It had me lets just say Hott!!! If you are into these kind of stories, I'd say go for it, you will not be disappointed. I was not. I loved it.
First book by this author and Thank you. I really enjoyed it. I will look forward to more of her books.

Moving to LA three years ago was a big step for Small Town, Kansas girl Cassandra James.

On her way to do a Saloon Shoot one night, she ran into her hunky, hot, Italian neighbor, Luciano. A man with lots of charm, and an accent that would make you melt. He invited her out one night, and over time, they became close. But he didn't want to take it too far because his blackmailer was close behind.
Will the blackmailer get her wish and have Luca back? Will he continue his relationship with Cassy and tell her ALL of his skeletons? Or will he fall short and Cassy run to Dedier?
I loved this book!! Lots of steamy pages, but not all about sex. Sure, there was plenty of that too, but not on EVERY PAGE. I also loved the characters, (well, most of them!), the plot, the story, and the ease of how the story flowed. I may have found one or two editing problems, but it was still so well written, I don't even remember what they were. I will most certainly recommend this book to others. I mean, who wouldn't like to read about a caterpillar who sprads her wings and becomes adventurous??!!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we meet Cassandra and Luca. Cassandra is a woman who works as a photographers assistant and the man she works with opens her eyes to many different things that she has never experienced before. The other thing that happens in the beginning of this story is neighbor's Cassandra and Luca meet and find that they have an attraction to one another but both have secrets that are keeping them from being together. This book is about Cassandra's exploration of her sexual boundaries. She learns what she likes and doesn't like with a variety of people showing her different things along this discovery journey.
Luca really wants to know more about Cassandra and is hoping to try a strictly vanilla relationship with her. Little does he know that some of his own secrets keep this from happening as well as their schedules. They are trying to see where this will go even if for right now they are just claiming to be friends.
Over all this is a good book the story flows well but I have a problem with it. In this book it is about Cassandra's discovery about what she likes and doesn't like. The issue I have is when she finds something she doesn't like or doesn't want to do she pushes it aside and continues to do this over and over until she has some type of breakdown later in the book. Also the more she discovers about herself the less she listens to it. I don't want to ruin the book for anyone so I will not use examples but I will say as she feels that the feeling of being dominant in a lot of the situations is one she is happier with she ignores it just to be with other people. Over all this book is good I just wish that if the other is having her discover this she wouldn't have had her ignoring what she was learning till almost the end of the book.

This is my first book by Tameri Tiara that I have had the honor of reading, but it certainly will not be my last. Moving to LA from a small town in Kansas was a huge change for Cassandra. She was trying to fulfill her dream of being a professional photographer once she finished school. She also learned that she had a strong curiosity of BDSM, and also wanted to explore that a bit. If you are a BDSM lover, this will be a real treat for you. This story is very well written and the characters are very well developed and I was able to really connect with them, and for me that is one of the most important things in a book. If you didn't have that then it would be just a bunch of kinky sex thrown on a page. When your able to connect with the characters, then your invested in the story. Cassandra had a very talented teacher, that taught her the ins and outs of photography and to make it more than just taking a picture. He also nurtured her curiosity about the world of BDSM and showed her the pleasure and gratification in that lifestyle. I loved all the facets to this story and the suspense, angst and anger that showed up as the story developed! Tameri did a great job sucking the reader right into the story. I was immersed in the story and didn't really want it to end. Great work, I am looking forward to reading more!

About 90% of the book is just sex which includes solo actions, gay & lesbian, bisexual scenes, threesomes, anal sex, double action, dom/domme who are both about 50 years old, switches and the whole thing overlapped with BDSM. Not to mention the main characters who fall in love and are open to sharing and seemingly craving to try out as much as different kinky stuff as possible. What I didn't find believable was the fact that a woman who had never even orgasmed through sex before was soaking wet in a second and ready to orgasm right there and then 5 seconds after talking to someone. I did like how the BDSM way of life was explored and portrayed throughout the book and how every character was brought to life.
The writing is excellent and the story flows very well which makes it entertaining and interesting to read. I just personally am not into gay sex or reading about guys walking around with butt plugs in their anus.

Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I love it when a writer can completely pull me in to their story and keep my submerged until the end. This book was so unbelievably hot and erotic I suggest either making sure your spouse isn't out of town and/or you have plenty of batteries before reading this. This is one of the best "girl porn" books that I've read in a long time. This actually has a good story to go with all of the kink. I don't know which I enjoyed more out of this book...the sexy scenes or the story. Great book. Beautifully written. I am now a huge fan of Tameri Tiara. I'll definitely buy all books I'm able to find that she's written. Such an extremely talented writer.

The depth and compassion given to all the characters in this book made me love it.
What could have potentially become a vapid, soulless book of sex, was instead a journey of discovery and growing into one's self. Of characters whose emotions I felt through the pages and who held feelings for the person(s) they were with. Of bonds formed in friendship and caring.
I could say Cassandra and others made mistakes along the way (who doesn't), but that would be a disservice to the journey. While the paths may have been more winding than expected, even so called mistakes help form who we are, shaping our thoughts and ideas, making us ready for the right person (or people) at the right time.

I have finished reading Developing Cassandra by Tameri Tiara and oh wow what a hot and steamy read!
This was my first book I've read by Tameri Tiara and it wont be the last! I really hope this book will be part of a series because I MUST find out what happens next plus I think the side characters deserve their own stories to be heard.
The women are strong minded and the male subs are still manly in their own right and the sex is steamy as hell!
Tameri Tiara you need to stop everything and start writing a sequel because I need more!!

A thrilling sexual rollercoaster. To know that something is missing from every relationship and finding what you need. Amazing, but to think the person you want wants something else, heart wrenching. To have it all explode in front of you not knowing how it's going to end. This was a great story. Would love to read more about the other characters. You won't forget this story anytime soon. Get it, you won't regret it.

One of the hottest and most intriguing books I've read!!!
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. For those that enjoy BDSM, this is such a treat! I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting. The characters were well developed and I just really loved them. Tamari did such a wonderful job in the flow of the storyline, it was so easy to get immersed in it and not realize a whole afternoon just went by. I wouldn't normally rate an erotica novel this high, however this was, without a doubt, the steamiest erotica I have ever read. This was a story of a woman finding herself and her happiness. The story itself is not unlike what we all go through at some point in our lives trying to find direction. However, this was much more fun, as it explored all of the taboo topics of what happens behind (and sometimes in front of) closed doors.
I will look forward to reading future novels in this series.

This book was a great book. The characters were very well developed and the individual relationships were intriguing. The author did a great job of showing BDSM and D/s and made it feel real unlike some attempts other books made.
The only downside, I was left wondering what happened with the paper Cassie was writing. It was never really addressed much after the beginning.

Wow!! I don't even know where to start, this book was like a sexual roller coaster with a great story and characters as well! If you like BDSM this the book for you. There was never a dull moment, I couldn't even put the book down I read it all at once. I enjoyed this author can't wait to see what's next, i would love to read more about these characters.

I was truly involved in the life of the characters. I just wish there was more to what happened after with all the remaining characters. I hope there are more books built onto this first book.
