A virus is unleashed in a small village in the middle east. A special forces unit is there and has witnessed the catastrophic result. Suddenly a U.S. drone strike takes them out. Conspiracy central

This book again taps into the recurring trope of a conspiracy. The flavor of the conspiracy here involves 'Washington insiders' rather than another government or a terrorist organization, but the plot is equally unrealistic, particularly in its purported operationalization.

couldn't put it down

The action just kept coming and keeping me on the edge of my seat.
I love the way there were so many threads that needed to be solved and how it could have easily been a disaster for the US. Intrigue, suspense, and a little romance thrown in.
