So I really did not know what I was getting into when I read this book, but man at first I was thinking oh they are role playing.
But then the reality hit and I saw he was recruiting a young daughter for his bdsm games.
Yeah, he was like a dad to her taking care of her reading her story and putting her on birth-control...you know the usu.
Wow, did he stunt her normal development.

As much as I love the cover, the book fell short and I was disappointed.
The story is about a young girl who just turned eighteen. Her dad is giving her a party while telling her to grow up. Her mom passed away years ago and now it's only her, her father and William. He's her father's best friend and acts like a "daddy" since she's a child. He's been avoiding her lately but she doesn't know it's because he wants her.
I didn't really liked the characters. Haley was acting so much like a immature kid who doesn't even know anything about sex... It was kinda ridiculous sometimes and I just wanted to roll my eyes.
Also, I felt like the guy didn't give a **** if he was too rough with her for the first time and that annoyed me. Also, he said he would never take advantage of her. LMFAO. Riiiight... I think he forgot that when she was drugged and asleep, what did he do? Oh yeah, he stripped her naked, tied her to his bed, blindfolded her...and he , but it's no big deal, right? I don't think so, buddy.
I enjoyed a few moments that were hot, I liked the "Daddy" part but I expected more from this book. It was short and I wish I enjoyed it more than I did.

This is the second DD/LG I've ever read and I'm certain this will definitely the last. After reading this, I just can't anymore. This is really disturbing. Seriously. I don't know why some people don't find this disgusting at all. Spoiler: The male protagonist tied up the female protagonist after just being roofied by some guy and jerked off while she's passed out. Who does that????? That's seriously bat-shit crazy. I can't.
I swear I will no longer read erotica if I could just erase the memories from this book that are now preserved in my brain. What did I do to deserve this? (I didn't even read FSOG!!!) I was so into the book that I forgot to do any highlighting :D ...It's a short steamy hot read that I gobbled up within seconds. Definitely hit all the right spots. We got an older, take charge alpha male and a sweet, very innocent and virgin heroine.
I would love to have seen a little more kinky scenes though, more age play scenes, cute, adorable scenes turned hot and toe-curling. Definitely could use better editing and polishing as I spotted quite a bit of mistakes from the start and there are a few kinks that could be worked out and made better, BUT, still very yummy. There's a teaser at the end about the next upcoming book, be teased.

This was my first time reading a 'Daddy' story and I have to say, it was pretty HOT. There wasn't a moment that I wasn't engrossed in what was being said or what happened. Kinds shocked that none of it bothered me. Oh well a whole new genre for me. I will definitely have to consider other books like this.
I can't wait to read what happens to Beauty in the next book.

MY REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS SO STOP NOW IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW DETAILS ABOUT THIS BOOK
I can read erotica with the best of them and not blink an eye. However this book bothered me. Haley is the most naive 18 year old I believe I've ever read. She went to an all girls school and has just graduated. Apparently her mom passed away when she was young, so Haley was raised by her dad and often her dad's best friend William. She even called William "Daddy William."
On the night of her graduation her dad throws her a party. Her friend's brother slips a roofie in her drink and follows her upstairs to basically rape her. He knows she's a virgin and he confesses his intentions. William comes to the rescue, beats the guy and has him arrested.
Okay, here's where the story just completely lost it for me. Haley wakes up blindfolded, naked, tied down and with William's release all across her chest. Yes, William took her home by convincing her dad he'd look after her and she'd feel safer away from her room. Then he stripped her, tied her down and pleasured himself straddling her while she's still out from the drug. Really?! She's basically unconscious. And her dad...the man didn't think he should keep his daughter home with him after nearly being assaulted?
When she wakes up William talks to her as if she's a small child and she doesn't even freak out when she realizes she's naked or what's on her. In her defense, Haley's had a major crush on William for years. I don't recall exactly how much older he is, but I'm thinking about twenty years older. So she's happy about about them being together. She's also excited that he wants her to only call him "Daddy", especially when he's taking care of her "greedy kitty." Yes! It's exactly what you're thinking and that's the term it's referred to constantly by "Daddy." Then Haley's actual dad agrees to she and William being together. Seriously?! This man is like a brother to her dad and had been like a second dad to Haley, and her father is okay with it. WOW!
I don't consider myself a prude and I like reading erotica books, but the Daddy references, the kitty talk and Haley being so naive just felt unbelievable and disturbing. Sorry. At one point Haley even questioned William about something poking her while he was kissing her. Haley's character was just portrayed too naively. To me, had she been a little older and smarter it wouldn't have been as creepy. But keep in mind, others enjoyed the book and this is only my personal opinion.

There's a decent set up without it being overly complicated or taking too much time, which I appreciate. So most of the story is taken up by sexy daddy-kink and age-play. The scene with Haley's father was necessary to wrap up the plot, although I read through it quickly to get back to the good stuff. ;)
