The first day Ethan Strom met Janie Cimoc he could not stop staring at her chest nor the goofy tee shirts she seemed fixated upon wearing. Ethan soon finds that the tee shirts are as quirky and loveable as the woman fate has thrown in his lap. The laughs are plenty as Ethan and Janie work together to create a fresh store that the residents of Venture will love as much as they adore Janie & Ethan. As the two turn the page on a new chapter in their lives, they learn the true meaning of understanding and acceptance.

I like the characters and how we were introduced to the H/h entire family. The story line was on point...There was no doubt what Janet was thinking, whatever came up ...came out. This book was funny as hell and Ethan and Janey were perfect for each other.
I know I read the two bonus reads before and thought I had read Turning the Page too however now it does not seem so. Even if I have read this book before, I am glad I read it again. The hilarity of the characters had me laughing out loud. The anger of the woman who had plotted to make Ethan hers took me by surprise at the lengths she went to for a man who told her he was not in it for the long haul. Janie, I do remember meeting when her brother Holden found love. Overall, I enjoyed their story very much and even the re visit to the bonus stories! Thanks for another great story Olivia and gut busting laughter!!!!
Turning the Page (Venture, Georgia Book 1) is a very good and sensual romantic comedy that earned a rating of five stars. When Ethan met Janey, he did not know what to think of her. The Mayor suggested they be come partners to save their business. Working with Janey made Ethan realize there is more to Janey and she was stealing his heart. I enjoyed reading about the characters in this little town and I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading romantic comedies.
…not Ethan and Janie…the would be love interests in this book. The story wasnt bad…it had some of the funny bits you expect from Olivia Gaines. I had a hard time finding these 2 as the sexy leads in a love story. Probably more my personal preference, but book 2 in this series was really good and looking forward to reading the newly released book 3.
I give this book 2 thumbs up. I like how the writer went right into the story of them meeting and starting a relationship that they each had no clue they needed or wanted. I would recommend this book to all readers. The rating is because once you start reading you can’t stop nor do you wish to stop until finished.
I fell into this series after reading another of Ms. Gaines series, Mail order brides. This author is on my one-click and pre-order automatically list. I absolutely love her work. I'm now off to read book two of this series. Time very well spent.
Again, an nice read delivered to us from MS Gaines. Though it seemed to move way to quick (the relationship) in the beginning, it slowed down. There was just enough mystery and intrigue to keep your eyes glued to the pages. Definitely a worthy read!
