I got this on the day of conquering my fear of flying, in a bookstore across the country while feeling very good about myself and my newfound freedom. I'd seen the original before, my sister had a copy of it that she showed me one Christmas, but I'd never seen this pocket-sized one before and I stood there in this huge bookstore and thought it's TRAVEL-sized and I can TRAVEL now so I picked it up and read through it and started wrecking in a small Oslo café. It's fun, and pushes you to think out of the box and helps you break out of ruts and routines and so it symbolized my trip perfectly. That's probably why I gave this the highest rating possible. It's helping me break out of ruts AND helping me with my 2014 Reading Challenge all at the same time, and I'm not even sure it counts as a book! Which I suppose is part of the point. Happy wrecking!

I got it as a birthday present. Since I lack creativity, I thought it might help me, but I ended up watching YouTubers present their finished wrecked journals to get copy ideas. Doesn't matter, still had fun. :)

I have seen all kinds of journals of Keri Smith, but I did not have a chance to buy one until this year. I always see the journals as too expensive to wreck. Luckily, she made this version--less expensive and smaller in size. I haven't finished wrecking it but I browsed all the instructions to make a valid review about it. I started wrecking it on the 13th day of March 2016.

Like other Wreck the Journal series, the book is full of instructions to destroy it. It gives me time to get creative and I love it. I think this is the first and only journal I will ever complete. (I got tons of journals I collect but do not use. It's a disease, I know.) I enjoy wrecking it! I will go on adventures and bring it. This book is not an ordinary book takes you to do thing as you didn't do before or things you didn't relate with, try to make you extroverted a bit & be as expressing as the author wants to make you...

Bought this book for a friend during our vacation earlier this year. Some of the activities are fun to do, but some of them are quite bonkers (but still fun to try).

Would recommend this book as a travelling buddy for backpackers as the activities included are funnier to be done when we're out and about.

Claramente no he hecho todo lo que me ha solicitado este libro, pero no negaré que ya hojeé cada una de las hojas que en él se encuentran. Quise hacerlo así porque me pareció que así es la manera correcta de hacerlo y bueno, ahora ya he acabado el libro.
Volveré a empezarlo, pero ahora me detendré y lo destrozaré.
Muy buen libro y les aseguro que no se aburrirán.

I just got my copy today but I have been seeing this around for a while now and I've always been intrigued by it. It's very unique and fun to to. A little book that somehow lets you live and experience life a little more. I have also seen a lot of her other books and they seem amazing too I might actually start collecting them all.

this is such a fun book, but its by Keri Smith so why wouldn't it be? its just like Wreck This Journal except its smaller so it can fit in a purse or what may have you. There is some stuff from Wreck This Journal but you can for sure expect new projects, which is always fun. If your a Keri Smith fan you definitely want to grab a copy of this and get to work :)

This is one of my favorites ways to melt away the anxiety, I've had do this book a lot of times but everytime I do it, it worked, so is kind of one of my favorite books. I really love the way Keri makes me do things to a book that I never tought that I will do to this one, it's really funny and relaxing, and an OCD patient Is kinda hard break my routine, but at the same time is a way better, it makes me feel good and more relaxed, and knowing that is not my first time with the book is funny 'cause everytime is a challenge, like the pages I have to get dirty is so fucking complicated but when I do it, it feels good, like hey I can do this, I can be better, and its feel amazing everytime, I think that when the book just collapse I will buy another and do it all over again just 'cause it worth all the way back

I got it as a gift and I have yet to actually use the book itself. I got myself a cheap notebook to use as a workbook because I can't bring myself to actually wreck a journal.

It feels wrong. The crazy thing I need to do is buy another one to keep the original intact...

I did buy the pocket version to carry with me in my purse but I am faced with the same problem as with the original Wreck This Journal, I will have to buy a second one to actually use and wreck.

If you want inspiration, there is a whole bunch of YouTubers that have filmed their Wrecking journeys.

I think that for teenagers it's ideal because there is a fun use of destruction and a choice to be impulsive and unruly.

I know I would have loved it as a teen. I love it now!! It really speaks to the 14 year-old inner me that will never grow up and doesn't care if people have opinions on my life

Destroza este diario en cualquier sitio es un libro de bolsillo, justamente ideal para llevar a todos lados. Según leí, posee el mismo contenido que Destroza este diario, sólo se diferencian en el tamaño.

¿Qué me pareció? LO AMÉ. ¡Está lleno de actividades interesantes! Soy el tipo de persona que no se decide a veces y eso de cierta manera detiene mi creatividad, pero el hecho que te digan que es lo que podes hacer en cada página es realmente un alivio. De a poquitito lo voy llenando, a veces cuando tengo ganas de hacer algo creativo o cuando se me da por cruzar mi mirada con el libro. Si bien el gramaje de las hojas es un poco fino para algunas de las actividades, ¡estoy muy feliz con este libro!

I started with 1 star, but let it be 2. It's just not what I expected... Too small - ok I can put it in my little bag, that's ok, I guess. But, inside... Hm... I'm not much of a traveler or adventurist, so... I find it hard to complete all the things, using nature materials, blah blah blah... I expected something creativity-related, something you can write, paint and do @home, but not outside only... Sorry...

Keri, Keri, Keri - cóż Ty jeszcze wymyślisz, żeby zdzierać pieniądze z dzieciaków?



Pozycja według mnie bezwartościowa, jak dwie poprzednie i jak następna, której Lubimy Czytać jeszcze nie dodało.

Taka to kreatywność, że pozycja ta uczy wykonywać narzucone zadania wmawiając, że to inwencja twórcza "czytelnika", a może powinnam powiedzieć "konsumenta".

Nie minęło jeszcze parę miesięcy od mojej opinii do „To nie książki”, (gdzie wyraziłam obawę przed kolejnym tworem Keri Smith oraz nadzieję, że nie zobaczę na sklepowych półkach już żadnego nowego „dzieła”), a już mamy kolejną książkę. Tym razem jest tańsza (jedyne 15zł) oraz mniejsza (bo to wydanie kieszonkowe).

Ciężko stwierdzić, że ją przeczytałam (bardziej przejrzałam), bo jak w poprzednich „dziełach” autorki: niewiele tu jest do czytania. Konwencja pozostaje ta sama co zawsze. Znowu mamy okazję zniszczyć książkę i jeszcze za to zapłacić niemałą kasę (jak na tak cienką kieszonkową książkę to te 15zł to i tak dużo).

Dlaczego „Zniszcz ten dziennik. Wszędzie” dostaje ode mnie jedną gwiazdkę, skoro debiutancki „Zniszcz ten dziennik” miał dwie, a „To nie książka” tylko (i aż) trzy gwiazdki?
Oto powody:
1) to kolejne wyrzucenie pieniędzy - lepiej wydać te 15zł na coś (cokolwiek by to było) innego lub dołożyć do naprawdę porządnej książki,
2) żerowanie na naiwności ludzkiej (żeby nie powiedzieć głupocie), zaczyna już się robić nudne. Tym bardziej jeśli to żerowanie jest podszyte hasłami typu: „konstruktywna destrukcja”, „wyrażanie siebie”, „realizowanie twórczych pomysłów” etc.,
3) przeglądając ową książkę zauważyłam, iż w tym przypadku mamy przykład idealnego przepisu na to jak stworzyć coś, na czym można zarobić. Nie trzeba się wiele wysilać. Jaki to przepis? Wystarczy do tytułu „Zniszcz ten dziennik” dopisać po kropce „Wszędzie”, wydać jako wydanie kieszonkowe (żeby można było zgodnie z tytułem niszczyć wszędzie) i umieścić na okładce dopisek „nowe zadania”. Bardzo dobrym chwytem marketingowym jest też napis: „edycja limitowana” (typowe zagranie aby przyciągnąć jeszcze większą liczę nabywców).
A co jest w tym wszystkim najlepsze? Mam jeszcze w pamięci sporą większość zadań ze „Zniszcz ten dziennik”. Przejrzałam kieszonkowe wydanie i mogę stwierdzić, że tych nowych zadań nie ma tam wiele. W zasadzie to one są idealnym przekopiowaniem tego, co było w pierwszej książce z tej serii. Znowu możemy ją upaprać, poplamić, popisać wyhodować na niej coś, przykleić coś, szurać nią, podrzeć, znaleźć sposób na ubranie się w nią… itd. Nic nowego. Aż chce się zanucić pod nosem „Ale to już było…”

Właśnie dlatego ta jedna gwiazdka. O ile „Zniszcz ten dziennik” to była nowinka na rynku (głupia, bo głupia ale jednak coś innego), o tyle „Zniszcz ten dziennik. Wszędzie” jest ewidentnym przykładem na dodatkowe „zdarcie” pieniędzy z naiwnych, którzy uwierzą w oszustwa z okładki.
Rozwieję więc wątpliwości: nie, nie znajdziecie w niej nic nowego. Znajdziecie te same zadania co w poprzednich książkach z tej serii tyle, że w mniejszym formacie (i to nie wszystkie, bo inaczej to kieszonkowe wydanie musiałoby być chyba 2 razy tyle grubsze). Z jednej strony wcale się nie dziwię. W końcu ileż można tego wymyślać…?

W dalszym ciągu uważam, że kreatywną destrukcję można wykonać biorąc zwykłą czystą kartkę lub - jeśli już chcemy w formie wielu kartek - wystarczy tani brulion za około 2zł. Miałoby to większy sens, bo przynajmniej moglibyśmy wymyślić własne zadania bez niczyich podpowiedzi co zrobić z daną kartką. Czy jako istoty myślące, aby dokonać kreatywnej destrukcji naprawdę potrzebujemy żeby nam dyktować na każdej stronie co mamy z tą stroną zrobić? I gdzie w tym wszystkim własna kreatywność? Gdzie te NASZE twórcze pomysły? Skoro wykonujemy jak małpa cudze pomysły pod dyktando, a jedynym miejscem na dokonanie własnego twórczego pomysłu jest ta strona z hasłem typu: „Tutaj zaprezentuj własny pomysł na to jak zniszczyć tą stronę”. Swoją drogą: czy naprawdę trzeba to komuś pisać? To dla kogo jest ta książka? Dla ludzi myślących, chcących zaprezentować na niej WŁASNE, twórcze pomysły i WŁASNĄ, kreatywną destrukcję? Czy ta destrukcja w dalszym ciągu jest jeszcze nasza własna? Patrząc na całokształt szczerze w to wątpię. To ciągle jest bezmyślne wykonywanie zadań, założonych prze autorkę książki, pod pięknie brzmiącym hasłem „kreatywnej destrukcji”, w ramach (pseudo)psychoterapii.

Ze swojej strony książki nie polecam. Mimo, że to jest cieńsze kieszonkowe wydanie. Nawet jeśli w danej chwili macie 15zł na zbyciu a nie wiecie co dokładnie z nimi zrobić lepiej dołożyć do wymarzonej książki, wyszaleć się na imprezie tudzież wpłacić na konto dowolnie wybranej akcji charytatywnej lub cokolwiek innego, co byłoby WASZYM WŁASNYM, wartościowym pomysłem na wykorzystanie danego nominału.

I both like and dislike this book for the same reason: spontaneity. It encourages spontaneity, but the spontaneity is explicitly suggested and...scheduled spontaneity isn't spontaneous.

Anyway. If I taught elementary, I could totally envision using a journal like this. In high school, I would hope to spark enough curiosity students would do some of these prompts on their own.

Historia lubi się powtarzać… a ja nie, jak często można było usłyszeć w skeczach jednego z moich ulubionych kabaretów. Nie będę więc ponownie rozczulać się nad moim podejściem do książek i do ich szanowania. Nic się nie zmieniło od poprzedniej opinii w tym temacie. Jednak bardziej martwi mnie fakt, że skoro ktoś to coś wydaje, to musi być też na to zapotrzebowanie. Naprawdę w tych czasach ludzie potrzebują gotowego produktu do bycia kreatywnym?
Czy do bycia kreatywnym należy tylko niszczenie tak dumnie wrzeszczące hasło z okładki obydwu tworów?

Takie mam wrażenie, że szukam głębin w strumyku. Na siłę próbuję, naprawdę się staram, zrozumieć - po co to wszystko? Odpowiedź jednak nasuwa się sama – dla pieniędzy. Przykre, ale chyba prawdziwe.
Zamiast do działu z artykułami papierniczymi wrzucili to do książek, jak widać pomysł okazał się strzałem w dziesiątkę. Już widzę znudzonych np. zakupami przedświątecznymi ludzi, którzy szukając prezentu na odwal się i bez wyrazu, brali tego tyle, ile mieli ciotecznych bachorów do obdarowania. Bo modne, a prawdziwej książki i tak nie przeczyta. Niestety, byłam świadkiem podobnej scenki rodzajowej jak przeglądałam to coś w markecie.

Very fun, very quirky little thing, but it may be quite hard to do a lot of the stuff out and about, as it needs you to.
Another nitpick is a few prompts seem a little tired, and/or a little too bizarre - the composting page and asking you to add dead bugs come to mind, nioether of which I plan on doing, thank you very much Miss Smith; but all in all I’ve had great fun already with it, though, even if I have only done two or three activities so far

Przeczytałam w sklepie, bo byłam ciekawa, a nie chciałam kupować kolejnej podobnej książki, bo nie skończyłam jeszcze zadań z "To nie książka".
Plusem jest format - łatwo zabrać ze sobą.
Minus: na wielu kartkach jest to samo zadanie w stylu "wymyśl swój sposób destrukcji". Chyba już sama autorka nie miała pomysłów, a kasa musiała się zgadzać...
