After reading this great book, I am ready to break away from Cable and STREAM to my hearts content !
Book separated each individual component and explained in great detail the pros & cons !
I appreciated the plain English writing style, and people of all levels of "Technology" should be able to make a Streaming plan.
Thanks James Eldredge !
Can't wait till I walk into the cable office and say CANCEL MY ACCOUNT !

Interesting product reviews

Interesting product reviews done up as a book. I did find it somewhat helpful. Not sure it is worth purchasing, but worth check-out via Kindle Amazon Prime. (For which the author does get played.)

Informative

I all ready have Amazon Fire TV, but I also have a $100+ monthly subscription to cable tv. I have checked out the websites the author referred to for help with figuring out what kind of antenna and what local stations are available to me. I have the antenna (Amazon basic) to use for streaming local stations that are all within 25 miles. Now I finally feel confident enough to call the cable people to keep only the high speed internet. My only concern now is getting the antenna connected correctly . This book was very informative about the different options for streaming sports, favorite programs to watch by season or next day after airing on cable with or without commercials If you're like me and not very knowledgeable about how this works then this book is for you. Simple, short, and complete.

Full of great info!

I've read lots of articles on "cutting your cable" but everything you need to know is in this easy to read book. I've been wanting to do this for some time but have been a little afraid to try. Armed with this book I'm going to do it. I already have the Amazon TV but wasn't using it since I bought my new Smart TV. Now I see that since I already own it it's the best way to go. Lots of great and understandable information on the various services also. If you even think you want to get rid of cable/satellite this is the only book you'll need.

Streaming Made Understable

Excellent presentation of streaming options. Finally one can make knowledgeable decisions of what, if any, services or devices fit one's personal choice and needs. Clear and straightforward. Amazing how much easily digestible information is presented. This is definitely a "must" for those who want to knowledgeably address and use streaming possibilities.

Trying to decide

This guide was very helpful for me as I am trying to decide whether or not to cut the cable cord. It did not answer one question for me. I have 5 tv sets and one device said it could cover 4 screens but can all four be looking at the same program or can each person watch a different program? Would I need fire tv or fire stick in each room? (Okay, two questions:)

Good information

I live in the hills so my antenna reception is poor. The links in this book confirmed that. I would like to cut cable but now I need to go a different way. I did find the information about the different services useful and may use some of them. I would recommend this book to my friends

Very informative.

A lot of information packed into a short book. Things like how to find these digital antenna for your particular location. Also it describes the different streaming channels to give you an idea which ones might be of interest for you to check out.

Never to old to learn!

At eighty three the new technology has been confusing. This book has helped me understand what my options are. Switching from cable is my goal and thanks to this book I feel better equipped to do it.

It is Not complete

While this book provided help with who streams what, I was very disappointed over the lack of information about AP's, how to find some of the hit series... Like anyone else that opts for this book it is because we are looking for good solid information.

It's okay for the Amazon price. But most people know what's in it.

Kinda disappoint I thought I would gain some knowledge .seems more geared towards the novice. But one point that I do agree with is that right now. Amazon is the best streaming service by far.

Thank you for the information about streaming TV. I do believe sometime in the near future we all will be streaming tv cutting out the cable and satellite bills. Just like most people using cell phones and cutting out the land line phone bill! I haven't had a landline in over 17 yrs. i'd love more then anything to cut out the outrageous cost of cable and satellite! Thanks again!
