This story has a sort of old world charm along side the present. There also is the background of Hansel and Gretel with a Demon thrown in.
Bella is s strong woman, its just Hansel and Gretel's father is not a nice man and a court case is now ruining her sweat business.
Heath on the other hand is quite something. Yes, he's a little bonkers, but he's also adorable, sweet and has a dislike of anything Watermelon flavoured.
Intent of getting Bella's help with his business, he gets far more than he bargained for, but in all scenarios presented to us, we do get a fitting HEA.

A friend had mentioned to me that she had recently read a novella written by Callie Wild in her new Bedding the Bad Girl series and she really liked it. Although I had never read a book from this genre, trusting her recommendations as I do, I knew I needed to read Devoured. Well needless to say, this book captured my attention quickly and Callie Wild’s writing style kept me engaged and entertained not to mention fanning myself.
Devoured is a fairy tale telling of a story of two very opposite souls. Bella spends her life creating culinary sweets for the kingdom in which she lives, while Heath runs his business of flavorful and tasty erotic toys and paraphernalia. Although Heath’s business is immensely successful, he is unhappy with the flavorful creations it makes, especially those including watermelon. So when he learns that Bella’s business is in trouble, Heath is determined to convince her to help him with his creations hoping her in-depth skill and knowledge for fashioning delectable treats will assist him.
But upon meeting Bella face to face, Heath suddenly feels his soul awaken. He is completely overcome with her beauty and his only concern at that point is to convince her that they belong together. What he doesn’t realize is that the women in Bella’s family have been cursed for centuries and though she feels the immense connection with his soul as well, she tries to fight her overwhelming urge of wanting to give in to her feelings. Are Heath and Bella destined to be separated by occurrences from the past which are out of their control, or will they let themselves find the love and future together that they both deserve?
Devoured most certainly surprised me. Despite it being written with a fairy tale feel, it also gave me a sense of being a contemporary romance as well which was quite a different experience and one I enjoyed very much. The chemistry between Heath and Bella practically leapt off the pages and the amusing back and forth dialog between them left me with a smile on my face. This tale was sweet yet simultaneously sexy and erotic, certainly not descriptive phrases I ever expected to put in the same sentence when writing a review. Devoured is a quick read and a standalone story, and one I would definitely recommend. I will most certainly be watching for more from Callie Wild.

This is the first in the Bedding the Bad Girl novella series. I don't usually read this genre but it looked intriguing...I mean fairy tales are fun then add some erotica and now you have some kinky tales.
Annabella is the best candy maker in the land. She comes from a very long line of makers and owns Incredible Edible Quinn Candy Company. She has recently been accused of a horrific crime and even though she has been found innocent, her reputation and company has been tarnished.
Heath is passionate about his company, Melt Me Enterprise that specializes in tasty and kinky edible sweets. He has admired Annabella and her sweets and knows if they work together they can combine their talents to make the best sweet & sexy toys that will improve sex lives across the lands. But what he didn't know was that when he meets her, he wants more then her thoughts. He wants everything...
Annabella doesn't want anything to do with Heath but when she feels a pull to him, her body is out of control. She has to stop before it's too late. The women in her family have been cursed and she wants to break it and to do that she needs to be in control. They also have a few obstacles in their way of living happily ever after. Can she break the curse? Will Heath convince her to work with him?
I really enjoyed this story. Heath falls hard and fast for Annabella but this is a novella so it needed to be fast-paced. It had a lot packed into this quick and sexy read. I will also say that it made me want to make fudge and have some fun with the hubby!
Overall...it was a quick, sexy and fun novella and excited about what is next in the series.

This is my first time reading in this genre and thanks to Callie Wild it's not my last. Devoured is the first in the Bedding the Bad Girl novella series. I often found myself laughing and fanning myself from the HOT kinky scenes. Devoured is about Heath and Bella. Heath is a wealthy, sexy and owner of Melt Me Enterprise, a company that specializes in tasty and kinky edible sweets that enhance the sex lives of all in the land. Bella is the best candy maker in the land, who owns Incredible Edible Quinn Candy Company. Bella's company is in jeopardy since accused of a horrible crime, even though she was found innocent. Heath has always admired Bella's sweets and wants her to work for him, providing him with her talented candy flavors. When Heath goes to visit Bella, to convince her to work for him, neither can deny their instant desire for another. Both Heath and Bella come alive when together. Both feelings things hey never thought possible in a night of passion. However, curses and outside influences threaten their newfound romance. Can Heath and Bella have their happily ever after? Will Bella finally end the family curse? I loved this story from the very first word to the last. There was just the right amount of humor, lust, innocents, quirkiness, and love.

This is the first in the Bedding the Bad Girl novella series. This is a standalone with no cliffhanger and it's available on Kindle Unlimited! I've never read this genre before, but I thought this was great. I love fairytales, so add in a little kink and I'm sold! Heath is a kooky, sexy sex toy mogul with a dirty mouth, and Bella is a beautiful candy maker. Heath wants to combine her talent of inventing delicious treats with his flavored sex toy ideas. As long as it's not watermelon! Heath has no idea that showing up at her door is going to cause his body and his heart to come alive. I love the banter between Heath and Bella. And their chemistry is hot. Will a demon and a family curse drive them apart? I loved this story. It has the perfect combination of humor, lust, intrigue, and love.
