I hate him.

I honestly can't stand him!

I truly honestly despise his attitude!
When we were growing up, he took what was once most precious to me and dumped me like a real bad habit.
Life moved on and I spent five years of my life pondering what might have been.
And just when I was starting to heal, he shows up out of nowhere.
What gives him the right to walk into my life and make demands from me?
How dare he think because he owns half the city, the world revolves around him?
He may own the entire world, but he'd never own me.
I fell for him, once, but twice is a little too much.

I'm no fool!

Sara thought she figured it all out expect she didn't bargain on the residual love she had for James, a man she had grown up with, a man she now despised, a man she thought she could never stand!. When circumstance throw them together, Sara does what she knows best, run from danger. Except this danger has a way of coming back to her. When she finds herself in a situation that forces her to reach out to James, her life is forever changed. Again!

I feel so bad for giving a low rating to this book, but I have to be honest, some things in this story did not run smoothly concerning the main characters. Firstly, the mood changes that the heroine carry on throughout the story, it makes the reader confused, and in consequence, cannot connect with her desicions whatsoever. I get that it is a short story, but that is not an excuse to not give meaning and depth into the characters actions, their love affair seemed forced and lacked of mutual interactions. Maybe it is because of the lack of transitions that could have helped the story better. Overall, I liked the writing style of the author, I just think this plot needs a little more TLC to make this book a 5 star experience.

2 1/2 Ok if free.

This one started promising. The H & h were more mature (and I mean in their behavior, they were still young in age) and the author set up the story well. The H took the h's V-card then broke her heart. Their parents divorced and it's been 5 years.

I like the interaction when they meet at a party. The h pretty much just goes with him without any real conversation about their past and he was sexy but far from an alpha. She leaves after one night, gets pregnant, sees him again, jumps into bed, tells him she's preggers he proposes, BOOM the end.
