Not quite what I expected

It's an easy to understand book, but not as specifically tailored as I need. I think the format could have been presented in a better way. All the basic info.

I found this really useful not only does it explain each liver condition but it has recipes and advice on what to eat and avoid. Very imformative and smoothies are delicious.

I think this really appealed to me because it's informative without being drawn out. It's quick to give you the facts, then it's on to tips and tricks and recipes. And, really, any book that is going to give me more ways to incorporate chickpeas, cauliflower, black beans and tahani into my diet has to be a winner! All some of my favorite foods... I really love the smoothies at the back, too. There are detox ones as well as some for weight loss or just overall nutrition (think green smoothies!). To me, smoothies are a great grab-and-go breakfast. Overall, even if the specific recipes aren't what you want, there are great guidelines here to help you take them and tailor them to your tastes, which is what a good cookbook is all about. Definitely a good read!
