The way the book talks about the main character fighting for the truth he knew from birth is beautiful. Seeing life from the writer’s point of view is very eye-opening life by itself is good, but what humans have built in this world makes life unbearable and hard. The way he explains why human laws are made is also very interesting. Overall, I really enjoyed reading the book. It is fascinating—the story flow, the characters, and the core ideas are all amazing.
Expected more. The main character is Universalist by religion, disguised as a savior from the mad world of oppression. All the character offers is Utopian world view with shallow suggestions for complicated problems. Once you grab the general idea what the book is trying to offer, it becomes boring though it's not a long read.
A book which was a head of its time. A brilliant character: who bore human suffering from his mother's womb; who sought and defended the truth; who preached love; who was sickened by unnecessary human suffering; who understood the shared humanity of human beings; who loved his people and wanted nothing more than living among them; who lived a life of integrity which ultimately cost him his life. Highly recommend it!
