Hirohiko Araki ( 荒木飛呂彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He left school before graduation from Miyagi University of Education.

He enjoys the baseball manga Kyojin No Hoshii (Star of the Giants); the video games Mario Kart and Bomberman; and likes Prince and other African-American singers, as well as jazz, rock, and rap.

He is a recipient the Tezuka Award for manga.

Girl and Child vs Tornado was a really cool concept for this volume. I thought turning the bus into joubin as a distraction was really smart. Watching his rock body shatter made me feel kinda bad for him though.

OK. THE YASUHO AND TSURUGI TEAMUP KINDA GASSSSSSS. the enemy stand is really cool and ... kinda feel bad for him after finding out how much of a BITCH his GF was. no but i think this is so interesting and the fruit and the dealers. i am just very interested to find out the true meaning of the fruit and what the FUCK jobin is doing with all of it.. BUT. GIRL BOSS ALL THE WAY AND THE KID IS DOING WONDERS. the kids in JJBA always lock in tho

-ok umm im on like volume 15 of jojolion but i decided to one of add every 10 volumes to my 2022 reading challenge. I DONT RMBR WHAT HAPPENED SPECIFICALLY TO THIS POINT. So im just gonna try. Love josuke and yasuho. Ugh i love the stands sooo much, and their fights are just so entertaining to me. How the hell does araki come up w this stuff. I was bored in like two parts but they didnt really stick with me so i dont mind. I love the references to part 7 that it makes..Anyways ya i cant rmbr what happens to this point so in my volume 20 one im definitely gonna go crazy because volume 14 was like the best thing i have read

Yasuho e Tsurugi sono un duo carinissimo e adoro il modo in cui Araki ha scelto di combinare i loro poteri non-offensivi, perché si rivelino comunque mortali, alle giuste condizioni. E poi hanno questa dinamica sorella maggiore-fratello minore che mette tenerezza (per quanto Tsurugi, a volte, abbia questi improvvisi moti affettuosi che ricordano in maniera un pelino inquietante l'ossessione di Joshuu per Yasuho o quella di Daiya per Josuke. Insomma, ma che problemi c'ha la famiglia Higashikata con Yasuho e Josuke, allora...)

Lo scontro con Doobie Wah e Aisho Dainenjiyama è stato a dir poco al cardiopalma, anche se le meccaniche di Doobie Wah ricordavano in parte quelle di Born This Way - c'è una condizione "addosso" all'obiettivo che attiva lo Stand anche a lunghissima distanza e da cui non ci si può liberare se non neutralizzando il suo portatore - ma la risoluzione è stata all'altezza dei poteri di Paper Moon King e Paisley Park ed è perfettamente in linea con la tipologia di Stand che Araki ha deciso di sfruttare di più in "Jojolion". Stand più "urbani", meno basati sulla forza bruta ma più sofisticati e altrettanto letali.

Quel che è certo è che i toni di questa parte di "Jojo" virano decisamente verso la suspence da horror - senza però ricadere nei dettagli più grafici dello splatter - e, beh, che dire, apprezzo molto. Adoro la suspence dei thriller (l'horror, mmmh, lasciamo perdere ma se Araki ci si cimenta, LEGGO PURE QUELLO).

Si bien en un inicio no me gustó tanto la manera en cómo se estaba tratando este volumen, luego de un par de páginas ya estaba completamente inmerso en el misterio de la fruta. ¿Cuál realmente es el propósito de la fruta? ¿Por qué conocemos otro usuario que también se vuelve en piedra? ¿Qué relación tenía el arquitecto, el vendedor de frutas y el padre de Tsurugi, Jobin? Todo se vuelve muy interesante, debido que no sabemos a ciencia cierta quién es quién, cuáles son sus verdaderas motivaciones y termina siendo todo muy confuso. ¿Realmente Jobin quería matar a su propio hijo? ¿Estamos ante un plan mucho mayor de lo qué pensamos? Independiente cuál sea la respuesta, la intriga está latente, más que nunca, por lo que se hace muy adictivo seguir leyendo y leyendo con tal de saber más de cada personaje en esta historia.

Not the 9 year old murdering a man with the power of... an entire bus.
We've finally gotten the name drop of Gappy's other half, and we're starting to get answers to the mysteries of Morioh. Though these answers are kinda creating more questions than they're answering. Gappy is completely oblivious to Yasuho's massive crush on him, I don't think bro knows that she has a stand and can actually help him because he abandons her sooooo much it's kind of funny. I do wish they got to interact more, they seem to get split up every single fight somehow

Una carrera contra el tiempo, con respecto a esa habilidad stand tan curiosa, y como siempre se encuentra una forma curiosa y rápida de resolverla.

La historia está empezando a subir de intensidad y de tomar un rumbo un poco más elevado, ahora toca ver como es que las cosas siguen avanzando, finalmente conozco la Rokakaka y lo que esta puede hacer.

خب فکر میکنم که اشتباه فکر میکردم!
استیل بال ران رو خیلی بیشتر دوست داشتم
با اینکه جوجولین موضوع ب شدت خفنی داشت ولی نتونست از پتانسیلش استفاده کنه
ترجیح دادم همین ولوم 10 دراپ کنم مانگا رو چون احساس کردم همچین اثری رو اگر به صورت انیمه ببینم قطعا بیشتر خوشم میاد
پس فعلا خدانگهداری میکنم با این مانگا و پیش به سوی کتابای جدید💪😍

Un volume un po' più lento rispetto agli altri ma comunque interessante.
Yasuho sembra un buon personaggio e sono curiosa di vedere Parsley Park in azione nei prossimi volumi. Questi uomini di pietra mi incuriosiscono e ricordano un po' gli uomini del pilastro di parte 2...

Damn, mad props to the little boy for winning a Stand battle against the second Rock Human. With him and Yasuho as the protagonists of this encounter, I was sure Josuke would pop in to fight, or else the first Jobin was real and we'd see Speed King in action.

OK, da questo numero si comincia a capire qualcosa.
Finora la serie è stata ai limiti dell'impenetrabile, o forse è il ritmo dello storytelling, ma di tutte le serie di Jojo, mi è parsa quella più faticosa. Da Steel Ball Run (ma forse già da Stone Ocean) Araki ha sempre idee più complesse, a volte talmente tanto che diventa difficile rappresentarle graficamente, e anche le spiegazioni verbali non aiutano. Adesso Jojolion comincia ad andare in una direzione più chiara e alcuni elementi di trama si collegano.
Sempre fedeli ad Araki, comunque, anche in saghe un pelo meno riuscite. Non tradiremo mai il Vampiro.
