One night stand leads to new life
When Chase had a one night stand with “Alice” true name Delilah he wondered if it would bite him in the ass later on. Five years later in a roundabout way it did. Delilah (human) and her father who is a turned Vampire are on a hit list from the Mob. And Chase is the man sent to do the job. But after looking at her once again he decided he couldn’t kill her. But if he didn’t that means he gets killed by the guild for not doing his job. The only other thing to do is for the both of them to run. Lots of action and adventure as well as some steamy action happen in this well written and very entertaining story.

WOW, having finished reading 'To Catch a Cheetah' I wasn't surprised at how quickly I devoured this book. Catherine quickly reeled me into the story, with the suspense of not knowing what was going to happen, to the steamy scenes, to the action near the end. I felt relieved & sad when I got to the end of the book.

"Kitty on the prowl"
Another super amazing book by Catherine Vale!.
This story rocks!. Who does not love a sexy hot Cat shifter with a compelling story line!. The characters are awesome!. Chase an assassin goes to a club to check out Vampire active. He runs into a mysterious Woman with Green eyes. They hook up and each one uses a false name and she takes off afterwards. But Chase could never forget her eyes. Five years later Chase is given a kill order by his Guild. His targets are a Vampire and his human daughter. Only something does not sit well with chase about killing a human woman. Not only that but something seems familiar about her. Chase kills the Vampire but when he sees the daughter he remembers her from five years before. Delilah is the woman he could not get out of his head. Now Chase has a big problem as he can not kill her!. If Chase does not then the Guild will put a kill order on him plus send someone to kill Delilah anyways. Will Chase beable to protect them both?. You will love this riveting book! with its spine-tingling suspense and steamy Romance! Its a must read book!.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Chase Alexander is one of the top assassins for the shifter guild and is sent on a mission to eliminate a high profile vampire and his daughter. Just another day on the job turns into the shock of his life when the daughter he's contracted to take out is the woman he had an insanely hot night of passion with five years earlier named Delilah. Chase can't find it in his heart to eliminate the beauty who turned his world upside down and the two go into hiding together to stay alive. They are going to have to learn to trust each other in order to survive since it seems that everyone wants the both of them dead. The chemistry between Chase and Delilah is off the charts explosive and their relationship takes off rather quickly. This is understandable considering the stressful life and death situation they're in. I also like the fact that Delilah isn't a weak female who panicks at every turn. She's able to stand right alongside Chase and be the strong partner he needs. I loved reading about these two and plan to read much more by this author in the future!

The rules are if you fail in a mission your next so Chase never failed.
Delilah Cunningham was human living with her Vampire father. She used to love living with him she loved her father even if he was in deep of disbursing drugs. Yes he was the boss but he took care of her. But everything changed when he was turned, he lost his humanity and was cruel and even biting her . Chase's mission was to kill Dane Cunningham and his daughter Delilah. When he went to kill Delilah he realized he knew her. From long ago she was the best lay he has ever had. How could he kill her?
So they ran ending up in the Louisiana Bayou meeting some of Chases friends they were happy, but the happiness lasted a short while and then all he'll broke loose.

I'll admit that I felt like the book started off a little slow for me, but when the action started it was a book I couldn't put down.

Fall in love fast, savor it slowly
To Catch a Cheetah starts with two people pretending to be who they aren’t, Alice and Sam. Meeting in a nightclub, they spend a hot and steamy one-night encounter in a room upstairs that leaves them both with lingering yearnings. A year later Chase Alexander is staring down at the picture of a woman he knows he should recall; one he has just been ordered to assassinate. Delilah Cunningham hasn’t had it easy. She’s been a virtual prisoner of her father, turned vampire and drug lord. The only respite she has is her brief forays into the light of day. With her aptitude for math, her father sent her to school for a degree in accounting and has put her to work keeping his books. It’s a real shame that same aptitude has put her in the cross hairs of the MOB when her father fails to pay his “taxes” to the organization. It seems no one cares that she is an innocent victim.
Chase has been an assassin for over a decade. In fact, he was one of the youngest recruits to the guild ever. However, a career in the guild has a few problems: one, you don’t really get to refuse an assignment; two, you complete your assignment or you become someone’s assignment; three, there is no real retirement plan. Either you are promoted to the higher echelon sitting a desk or you’re dead. Neither really appeals to Chase so of course he has alternative plans for when that day finally arrives. Having “Alice” walk in on him after he’s just taken her father’s head seems to be that day. While he might normally think nothing of completing his assignment, he just can’t bring himself to off Delilah. So, on the run they go.
After a bit of evasive travel the two wind up in the bayou. Life isn’t idyllic and peaceful. They know they have the guild after them. They’ve attracted the attention of the local vampire coven. Delilah needs identification for her new identity. She takes no shit from Chase and he loves it. Their days are filled with training. Their nights are filled with loving. While it may seem the world is against them, they do have their allies. Before long, the two are put in an untenable position forcing them to use whatever resources are available. Things get real dicey and the action is tight. To Catch a Cheetah was a great read with plenty of suspense and hot loving. Ms. Vale is proving herself quite adept at providing these elements in her shifter stories. Just what a reader of shifter romance is look for.

Dililah Cunningham is a human with a vampire farther. Her life is a nightmare and complicated and it gets a whole lot worse when she walks into her house and she can smell blood. When she finds her farthers dead body lying on the floor and a stranger in the shadows, she knows she's in trouble and runs. When she is caught she realises she knows the killer and that she's his next target.
Chase has a dilemma of what to do. He can't bring himself to kill her, so he offers Delilah two options. One, to go off on her own and she will be dead within a week, or two take her chances with him and live. So she takes option number two. So he takes her to a safe place, a house he owns in Louisiana where he has friends that can help him. Life is good and 'normal' for a short while. Until a powerful vampire kidnaps Delilah. Chase goes into a rage but once his calm enough he calls in some help. Will he save her in time.
I loved this book alot. I loved everything about it, from start to finish. It had a strong storyline, with lots of action and romance. The characters were tough, stubborn and very likable. I loved Chase and Delilah, they were well suited and had lots of chemistry. This book has so much potential to become a series. There were so many interesting characters and I would love to see them in their own stories. I was hoping to see(read) what happened to the young boy who helped Delilah, maybe we will. I highly recommend this book. I loved it!

Chase was an assassin working for the Guild. His life was missions through missions to kill the supernatural. He was in the bar but there was no trace of the vampire he was looking for so he took a break because there was a woman who was attracting him. He smelled something like vampire but she was human. They had a one night stand and it was intense. He felt something different and she seemed different in certain way. Before he could stop her she left without him even know her real name. Five years later he had a mission where he had to kill a vampire and his daughter and he didn’t expected to find her, Delilah was her real name. If he failed the mission he was going to be exterminated and somebody else will finish the mission. Only one thing he could do, protect her and he will do everything for her even risk his life. Very interesting and intense story. Remember me of the Mission Impossible stories and how the agents make use of the resources to accomplish their missions. In this story the hero’s first intend is to kill the female so getting to know how he was going against his job duty began to rise the suspense. The development of the story was full of action and intrigue and the sex scenes were very steamy and educational. Learned a few things. The author knows how to perk you up! Love this stories where the reader always find something new, the stories are spiced and the narrations make you visualize the action.

She has the scent of vampire on her though she is human. She explains her father deals with unsavory characters. They have one night together, with fake names no less…Sam and Alice… and she walks away. Five years later, Chase is given a job…take out a vampire and his human daughter. He quickly takes out her father and is stunned when she walks in. He cannot kill an innocent…which she is. He tells her the only way for her to stay alive is for them to run…so they do. They end up in New Orleans where he introduces her to some friends…Barry being the main one, and begins training her so she can have some defenses of her own. While Chase is in town, Delilah is taken by the head vampire , Draven, who uses her as a bargaining chip. He wants Barry dead and he wants Chase to do it. If he does, Delilah goes free. While all this is happening, Chase is attacked by Jordan, another Guild assassin. Chase quickly explains the problem about Barry and they both get the go ahead to take out Draven. What ensues next is chaos, mayhem and death. But who dies and who lives is the question ??

one night five years ago and that one night now means he has a choice to make as it turns out his second target is the woman from that one night. the woman he was never able to get out of his head. killing her vampire father wasn't an issue but killing her? that was a whole different ballgame. giving her a few options they decide to go on the run together. but just when they think things are settling down more drama comes knocking on their door and she gets kidnapped and used as leverage. the guild finds him and all things just go to hell!
how will he get out of here? how can he get to her? many IOU's are used... how it all turns out? well you'll have to read the book for that to know.
my only point of critique would be how the guild let him go. throughout the story it's always told the guild doesn't let people go, at least not alive, but how it happened at the end i felt a bit "cheated" they could have made such a big deal about it all and not make it easy. would have loved for that to be a bit more dramatic.

I was given an ARC for an honest review.
Chase aka Sam hooks up with Delilah aka Alice in a bar, knowing it was not a good idea and hoping it does not come back to bite him at a later time. Fast forward 5 years , fate and karma are fickle bitches and that hook up has come back with its teeth bared. This was a great storyline with colorful characters and lots of excitement. I thought it was well written , well thought out and flowed easily. The supporting characters were unique , interesting and provided lots of drama to this great reading experience. Chase was a bad ass assassin with all the right moves and a conscience. While his softer side did not always mesh with his bad boy image, it made him seem like more of a real person then just a killing machine. While I found Delilah to be a little mousey at first she sure turned out to be one tough cookie. I liked the interactions between the characters, it was sometimes playful, the banter was amusing and the sex was hot.

Coming home she finds her father beheaded and his killer still there, the man she had a 1 night fling with. Together they are running from his boss but will they be able to stay safe or will the Guild find them and finish the job.
Action, drama, betrayal and romance are in this story. The author created great characters and a smooth flowing story line.

Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. Catherine Vale's writing draws you into her story and doesn't let you go until it's finished. The book is fast paced and action packed! It has a little of everything in it; intrigue, suspense, action, humor, romance and hot sex! I was lucky enough to receive this book as an ARC in return for a honest review and honestly, I LOVED IT! She has a cheetah, a panther, a dragon, vampires, and sycophants in this story. This is Sam's and Alice's story, whoops that's Chase's and Delilah's story, lol (Have to read the story in order to understand). I thought I'd never read any of her books before but then remembered her yummy story "Wolf Fever" in Alphas on the Prowl. If YOU have never read anything by her before this book would be a great place to start. Highly recommend to shifter lovers, you don't want to miss this one!

I really liked this story, it is well written with a great story line. Chase is an assassin for the Guild, who meets a young girl in a bar, they have a one night stand. Years later his assignment is to eliminate a vampire and his human daughter. Much to his dismay the daughter is the young women Alice. Her real name is Delilah and Chase won't kill her. On the run form the Guild they end up in New Orleans. Delilah is kidnapped by the Vampire Lord of New Orleans. Why has he taken her? Will Chase find out where she is? Will he have to assassinate someone? Will the Guild find them?
This is a 5 star read.

Delilah and Chase spend a couple of hours together in a rather enjoyable set of circumstances where they both give fake names. Five years later Chase is given an assignment to assassinate a vampire and his biological daughter. He successfully assassinates the vampire but turns out his daughter is the irresistible woman he spent the night with five years ago. Together they go on the run to try and save both their lives.
This story is action packed and full of suspense. Delilah and Chase have a lot to overcome together to be a couple. They support each other and the comfort they find in each other finding the trust only true love can bestow. Another sigh worthy book by Catherine Vale.

OMG - Hottest first chapter of a book I've read so far!! This book was really good. I've read several from this author and this one is my favorite by far. Following Chase and Delilah as they fight to stay alive and fall in love made it hard to put this book down until I was finished.

Sexy Shifters!
Just wow! Mrs Vale delivered an action packed love story beyond measures. Delilah and Chase met five years ago in a bar and had a passionate interlude. Now Chase who is an assassin is sent to kill a cocaine dealing vampire and his daughter. He kills the dad and in walks the daughter, it's Delilah but that's not the name he knew her as. He can't do it cause she looks defeated. You can see some vampire had been feeding from her. He know now there would be a contract out on them so they run. Now begins a great adventure to stay alive. Along the way two people find love. It was an awesome story and I hope there are more to come.

I received this free in exchange for an honest review. This is a great story. A couple meet and give each other fake names. They have a one night stand but never forget each other. After some time and a bad circumstance they meet again. Delilah is a beautiful, strong woman. Chase is a sexy cheetah shifter. Together they are fabulous. There are lots of problems that they face. This love story is full of passion as well as action.I definitely recommend it.

This a great action paranormal romance. The storyline kept me interested and I couldn't put it down. The characters are wondful and I connected quickly with them. This is on my top book list to read again. I loved it

An incredible one night stand turns into a crap ton of trouble. Chase & Delilah share an amazing one night stand and then never see each other again until Chase gets an assignment he'll regret ever agreeing to. They are on the run from Chase's employers for not completing his assignment. Then the whole bottom falls out when he's forced into an assignment by someone else, but together with help of some not so enthusiastic friends and acquaintances they make it through together.

What would you do if you were given orders to kill someone you once had a great one night stand with? Well that's exactly what Chase is dealt with. Delilah is wanting to get away from her father who turned vampire. When the answer to her wishes comes from the man who made her forget for a night comes back into her life but with the intention of killing her.... You must read this to find out what happens. This is a very interesting book and I loved all the twists.

Chase never expected to be ordered to kill the one woman who he cannot forget. What is a shifter to do? Why run away with her of course! This is a great read with plenty of action and adventure as Chase and Delilah run for their lives and fight off shifters and vampires alike. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

This book is non stop action from the first page.
What I love about our main character Chase is that not only is he a ruthless hit man, he's also playful, caring and incredibly sexy. He's a great mix of gentle but not soppy, and take charge but not controlling/possessive Alpha.
A really good enjoyable read.

I really liked the story and the characters. You have a shifter who finds out his assignment has a personal connection. He offers her his protection and they go on a dangerous journey to keep her alive. They have an intense attraction and it keeps them both on their toes.

The adventure that the author takes her readers on with her main characters had me on the edge of my seat. As always there is action and suspense which kept me glued to the book, and it stays that way till the end. I received a free copy of this book and volunteered to review it.

I loved this book. It had action and suspense and love. I was drawn in to this book. I really enjoyed how Chase and Delilah meshed together. Starts with a one night stand. I can't wait to read more.
