“The Problem Makers” by Robert Hoskins is a work of classic science fiction shaped by speculative ideas, future worlds, technology, exploration, and the unknown. Its appeal comes from the narrative tradition of the a strong central premise, an atmosphere suited to the subject, and a reading experience that develops through character, situation, conflict, or discovery. The book is well suited to readers of vintage and classic science fiction and can be read both for entertainment and for its place within the broader literary tradition represented by this category. It is a fitting choice for personal libraries, literature collections, classroom reading lists, and readers seeking a focused title in classic science fiction.
Not quite sure about this - it is not a collection of stories as the description suggests. It is not a short story as there seems to be no ending, and I thought it was going to be a taster for further episodes, but the end is just left without any suggestion to read further. having said that, what is there is well written, and obviously well thought out. Perhaps the description needs changing on Goodreads, and there is no description at all on Amazon. So I'm puzzled.
