Trouble brews in Ladogdran. Korthka and his forces have returned triumphant from battle, but strife quickly arises between the young new king and his would-be subjects. The capital city and center of Kristhya plays host to a convergence of characters as war becomes imminent. While Kristhya divides itself, Tamyth and his companions face their toughest decision yet as they search for their place in Rythka and must choose a side in the coming conflict. But danger from the past may well give Tamyth his toughest, and most costly, challenge yet.

This was an excellent finale to the trilogy. The way everything came together and all of the plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat. Great book!
