About 250 pages of fun, decadent, quick & easy recipes of all types of sweets, for any holiday or occasion. From recipes such as caramel cream cake, dark cherry salad, apple-sassy cookies, Texas tumbleweeds, and pineapple coconut squares to margarita punch, lemonade pie, cinnamon sugar popovers and Coca Cola chocolate cake. Also includes many helpful basic recipes for pie crust, frostings, jam, pancakes and more, perfect for beginners, young bakers or anyone who adores sweets.

I tried several of the recipes over the holidays and my friends & family were very impressed!

Also includes pictures of all the finished sweets, lots of family/personal photos, room to make notes and book quotes from the Tizzy/Ridge series.

The quality of the photos and general layout of the book left me underwhelmed and I wasn't particularly taken with any of the recipes.

Many times you buy a cookbook and only find a few recipes in it that you actually want to try. Every recipe in this book is worthy of preparation. Russian Rocks are delicious, moist cookies. Peach Bliss is a to-die-for heavenly dessert. The cobblers and bread pudding are perfect for family get-togethers. Texas Tumbleweeds (candy) take less than 20 minutes to make and so wonderful, your family will beg you to make them. They're also easy enough for young bakers to get in on the action.
I don't usually review my own books, but I'm thrilled to endorse this one! If you enjoy preparing desserts for your family and friends, this is a great book to have.
