On a snack run sisters , Quinny & Sutton run smack dab into brothers Kenji and Benji.
The encounter startles the sisters, even more when they start to believe the tall, dark and mystical brothers are following them in the store. Mannnnn, ion know. ION KNOW. 😭
I’m all for authors adding their own razzle dazzle to established lore, but some of the razzle dazzle in this book just ain’t sit right with meeeeeee. And maybe that’s just a me issue, but hear me out.
For starters, this book was repetitive and FULL of unnecessary first person dialogue. Like, you ain’t gotta tell us EVERYTHING or explain every little detail. DAMN! There was so much rambling and overexplaining that we barely got to experience the couple as actual soulmates. Their relationship should’ve been one of the strongest elements of the story, but instead, it felt overshadowed by everything else going on. I’m hoping that’s rectified in the next book because I needed more from them. Then there’s the whole situation with Quinny and Dante. Baby, what was going on there? The drama itself didn’t make much sense to me, and I feel like some backstory or a proper setup would’ve done wonders. Instead of all that repetitive dialogue, give us something that adds structure, meaning, and flow to the storyline. Help me understand why things are happening and why they matter! As it stands, certain developments felt thrown together in hopes that something would land. And can we PLEASE talk about this soulmate bond? Is it strong or not? Because we have one person trying to break a bond, while another is allowing their soulmate to disrespect their children. LIKE, WHAT’S TEA?! The way Kenji explained the bond made it sound like this sacred, once in a lifetime connection. Something of the highest honor. But some of these characters’ actions made the whole concept feel frivolous. There was a disconnect between what we were told about the bond and what we actually witnessed. I needed the lore and the characters’ actions to make sense together. Now, the plot twist involving Emberley, her mother, and her aunt? BOYYYYY! I did NOT see that coming! 😂 I’ll give the author that. But even with the element of surprise, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was thrown in there without enough groundwork. A good plot twist should surprise me, absolutely, but I also want to look back and see how the pieces came together. This one caught me off guard Also, this might be the weakest group of vampires I’ve read about in a WHILE. LMAOOOO. Where was the grit?! The danger? The intimidation? I needed these vampires to give me a little more SOMETHING! Now, I have a feeling things are going to get real in the next book, so we’ll see. And speaking of the book itself, BABY, THE EDITING?! Some of those grammatical errors had me absolutely flabbergasted. Ain’t no way. The editing needed considerably more attention, especially in a story that already struggled with repetition and pacing. Overall, I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either. It was just okay. There were some interesting ideas here, and I can see the potential, but the execution didn’t quite deliver for me. Between the repetitive narration, underdeveloped relationship, inconsistent soulmate lore, and plot developments that needed more groundwork, I was left wanting a more cohesive story.
Will I read the second book? Probably. Because despite all my complaints, I’m still curious to see where this goes.

This author's storytelling and character interactions are always top tier for me!
Although vampires are not a new concept, I love how the author explains how these vampires function in her story.
The world building- loved!
The main couple's banter and chemistry- flawless. This author knows how to write characters who feel very natural and that have combustible personalities that work so well together.
Plot twists and family drama- crazy good.
This will be a part of an interconnected standalone series so the story has a conclusion with our couple but does set the stage for the other side characters books.
Highly recommend this read and this author's catalog

Now, Ni’ssan! 😂 You know good and DARN well you weren’t supposed to write a story THIS good just to leave me hanging like this! I have SOOO many questions! Please tell me there’s going to be a Part 3, too, because I refuse to believe all these questions will be answered in Part 2! 😩😂
First of all, WHO was behind Dante getting one up on them?! I’m leaning toward stepmommy dearest, and I need to know if my suspicions are right! 👀 Then there’s Benji and his situationship… what’s going to happen there? And don’t even get me started on Emberly! Is she fated, too? I have a sneaking suspicion it might be Tahji, especially with how eager he was to meet her. 👀 And when are we finally going to get the truth about their parents out in the open?!

Ni'ssan is one of those authors who NEVER misses when she drops a new story. I look forward to her books and will literally stop reading whatever book I'm on so I can read her book!
This story was a really good read. The storyline was well-developed with characters that make quite an impression on you because they were so funny. I loved the fact that she didn't cast the vampires with the same old storylines we see in other books, she added her own razzle dazzle to them lol. I was a little confused because they story only focused on one couple but I got excited at the end of the story knowing that we can expect at least 1 (I just know we gonna get another story on baby brother and baby sister though lol) more book. Great job Ms. Author, I absolutely loved this story and can't wait to see what's next!

Amazing and Funny Read!!!
Ni’ssan you have done it again. I haven’t read from this author in awhile but it never fails she comes back like she’s never left. Absolutely loved this read. And look forward to how this series plays out. It has to be a series cause Emberly has to meet her vampire/soulmate, the mama has some explaining to do, we have to find out who this empress is and Kenji and our favorite girl has to have their off spring all while managing the chaos around them. I think k the empress is the boys mother and she’s working with Melinda. And the girls mama knew the boys mama and know she’s evil and trying to protect her girls. But that maybe hard to do since she’s a hunter. Yeeesssss I can’t wait to see how this all plays out. Keep writing and I’ll definitely keep reading!!!!!

so refreshing
Let Me In, Please was so effing good! Kenji and Quinny had me cracking up. Tahji was pretty funny too. I could appreciate this book even more because it broke away from the usual stereotypes about vampires. I enjoyed reading about them not needing to feed as much, being able to walk in the day, there being more vampires in humans everyday lives than they realized, etc. I especially appreciated parts where human being and how trash they are was spoken on. I don’t know who told humans just like I don’t know who told the government and the USA that they’re the greatest thing ever and everyone should bow down and worship them. Like gtfoh. Humans always wanna kidnap something, turn them into slaves, and study them. PUHLEASE. I cannot wait for the next book. 10/10!!

When I tell you this had me hooked and I ate it all the way up!!! Listen the way these brothers were like that!! Kenji, Benji, and Tahji was everything brotherhood. The story line was good the drama was good the plots were amazing and before I even finished the book I was already saying oh yeah this has to be a three parter. Quinny and kenji was the cutest. He loved himself some Q and she loved herself some him! Babayyy when the whole twist came out about Emberly! I can't wait till she find out she's destined for a VAMPIRE TOO cause the way Tahjikeeps lighting up like a lighnting bug at the mention of her name!! 😍 NOw AS MUCH AS I LOVE Q AND K!! ITS Benji and Sutton I can't wait to read about! Oh my goodness Sutton don't play the radio and I can't wait to see how they are going to navigate through this!! This book was so good to me!

Spooky Season, Spicy Reads, and Men Who Beg! 🖤🌶️
This book was so enjoyable, fun, sexy, and spicy. And listen, I LOVE a man who begs! 😂 I did find Quinny a little aggravating in the beginning, but watching Kenji chase her made it entertaining because that man was enjoying every minute of it.
I can’t wait to get into Benji and Sutton’s story! I’m usually the type to read whatever catches my attention and move on to the next book, but I’m sticking with this series because I’m loving how everyone’s stories are unfolding. I’m invested now, and I need to see where it all goes!

I loved this. Excellent read. I can’t wait for Benji and Suttons book to come out. I just know Benji is gone need some knee pads for all the begging he about to do.

That vampire/soulmate love is something else. These folk fell in love in a minute! Dante’ wasn’t wrapped too tight lol. How you got your soulmate, but wanting Quinny still? And who sent them after her? I never figured that out. I’m think Tahji’s bitter mom.

Brothers mated to sisters with a little family drama mmhmm, let’s get into it! The sisters run into Kenji and Benji and what starts as a creepy encounter turns into a supernatural situation neither of them saw coming.
I enjoyed the mystical vibes, the mating connections and the drama unfolding between these two couples. Thankfully the author lets us know upfront this is a series, so don’t go looking for a neat little bow at the end. We’re just getting started, hunni!

Ok! This was good! I loved it! Kenji and Quinny are too cute! The twist and turns! When I thought I knew, I did not! Quinny and her sister, Sutton never thought they would be entering the vampire world and then falling for the vampires, Kenji and Benji, who are brothers and their soulmates! And them Vampires do not play about them! You hear me!! I can not wait for Sutton and Benji’s story because the way it ended, Sutton is about to give Benji the business!!!! And Sutton is too funny!

Come on book 2
Baby, Kenji and Quinny had me hooked from page 1. The mystery, the suspense, and the chemistry were everything! I loved every minute of this dark, paranormal ride. And now I’m over here impatiently waiting for Benji & Sutton’s book because I just KNOW her story is about to be something serious!

This story started out on 10 and the pace kept ramping up. This book was hilarious! The banter between Quinny and Kenji was top tier. I was so excited to get some Viggas! I also liked the different approach the author had with these vampires vs the same old way that vampires are shown. Can’t wait to get more of this.

I need the next book immediately. This was so good , I just kept saying girl let him it. To be human and find out u are the soul mate of a vampire is everything. First read by this author. I really wanted to finish this book but the repetition and editing was just so bad. I made it maybe 20%.

Hunnny I would have DEFINITELY let Kenji in! The way he used his tricks would’ve had me from the beginning! I gave this book 4⭐️’s because I like the initial story concept. Good story line. I feel like we flew through some parts of the story too quick. There were definitely multiple typos. But I love me a fantasy book and this was great. This was a good 4.5. I wish I had more context as to who is the empress and how did she know what she knew.

The overexplaining of every little thing and all the grammatical errors knocked the rating down for me. The plot was cute though. I also don't like cliffhangers. We could have wrapped up everyone's relationship and found out who Empress was in one book.

good read
I liked the book and characters. But I felt there were a lot of typos, Quincy was annoying me trying to not like Kenji even though I do totally get it… great book though and I couldn’t guess the twist
I liked the book and characters. But I felt there were a lot of typos, Quincy was annoying me trying to not like Kenji even though I do totally get it… great book though and I couldn’t guess the twist

I enjoyed the plot but it definitely had some serious grammar issues. However, not enough for be not to enjoy and anticipate the next book from this series.

I loved the book! It seemed a bit repetitive at times but I could get over that lol. It’s a good read especially during this Halloween season! Who doesn’t love vamps?!
