Expected 16 Mar 27THE DESCENDANTS WILL FALL
The Peacers have become just that—the peacekeepers they hoped to be. But it still isn’t enough to send them home. Cadence and her cousins have found a quiet life for themselves on Nitu, but it is Neftar they want. Teleportation is unsafe… yet Flare keeps trying.
When Flare’s power sends the Peacers farther from Neftar than ever, Cadence struggles to get her cousins to safety, but faces unthinkable danger. The clock starts ticking for the Peacers to escape—and for the Squad to find them before all hope of reuniting is lost.
Will Cadence and her cousins ever return home, or will all of Neftar’s peacekeepers be divided forever?
Join the continuing adventures of this freedom fighting squad—and the next generation—of what CS Lewis called “dressed animals” as they answer The Most High’s call to protect their world and each other in this epic Christian middle grade fantasy series you’ll never forget.
The Dawn of the Descendants is a faith-filled adventure series written for homeschool kids ages 8-12 by a homeschool graduate who was raised on The Chronicles of Narnia, The Green Ember, and the Wingfeather Saga. Find new friends in these engaging animal characters as their inspiring adventures take them across their fantastical world in battles of good versus evil.

About the author
Rachel Keith
15 books5 followersRachel Keith has always had an active imagination, with a story going in her head constantly. She began writing The Squad: Rising by age 13 and finished writing the series by age 15. The work did not end there, however, with several more years of tedious editing, revising, and even heavy rewriting. But Rachel didn’t mind the work; it was making her stories–her mission–even better.
When Rachel is not writing or otherwise in the world of The Squad for eight hours straight (for real), she’s drawing, praying, or geeking out over the latest Sonic the Hedgehog whatnot. Oh, and reading. And reading. And READING.
After all, there’s no such thing as too much of a great story.
Rachel is proudly a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and lives there with her giant hermit crab, her Bible, and her faithful animal encyclopedia.
