Aideen Collins is a free spirit. She is outspoken and tough as nails, but she has to be after growing up in a house full of men. Family means everything to Aideen. Her family consists of her four brothers, her father, and her group of wild friends. Aideen is protective of her family, there is not a lot she wouldn't do to keep them safe. Kane Slater is a tortured soul. Literally. He is misunderstood by people, even feared by them thanks to the scars that mar his face and body. He relishes in their fear because people who fear you, won't want to know you. He likes his circle limited to his brothers and their girlfriends, but a thorn from an Irish rose is dug deep into Kane's side, and her name is Aideen Collins. Aideen and Kane don't get along... at all. Aideen is the only woman who stands up to Kane and throws his bullshit back at him without fear of hurting him. Kane is the only man who can see right through Aideen's tough exterior. He knows her deepest, and darkest secrets. They can't stand each other, but they want each other. Badly. They hide their need behind arguments, and banter, but when Kane drops his guard for all to see, and succumbs to an illness within his body, it's Aideen who steps up to the plate to take care of him. An illness is the least of their worries when a devil from Kane's past comes back to play with him. Everybody in Kane's life is threatened, and with his body fighting against him, he doesn't know if the luck of the Irish is enough to keep his family safe and his demons at bay. OH MY! KANE. As soon as I finished that last novella .. I was like DAYUMN this is setting up for akicka*s plot! Did it live up? YEAH .. and then some! It was practical and still has the crazy dynamic each of these Slater brothers come with. I've said it on numerous occasions and will continue too like now .. I SERIOUSLY NEED ME A SLATER BROTHER. By reading each of their books I fall more in love with them HOWEVER it makes it harder to choose which one (hehe let's be real .. #TeamDominic)! This series is a hands down go to re-read worthy one and one I would highly recommend. As for that ending .. @*&$%@)#(@)%*##***%*% ... RELEASE THE NEXT ONE SOON .. please!

Kane, the sweet damaged Slater brother!
I really enjoyed Kane’s story. Previous books have shown him to be the enforcer of the family. He is scarred, and dangerous to look at but beautiful when he smiles. He is a loner, but can easily get women when he wants, he was once seen on a date with two women at the movies. Though not even his brothers know the stories of how he got his scars.
Aideen Collins met Kane at the bar when he saved her from ex of Alec’s who got Jealous. Kane and Aideen have had a love-hate relationship since then but they eventually do get together and Aideen gets pregnant so they have to figure out where to go from there. They both want the baby and so they work on trying to build something from there.
I like this story because it doesn’t just immediately go to her moving in with him. They get to know each other and there are a lot they need to know. He has a lot of secrets and issues. Though he is a good guy and is very deep.

“Don’t finish that sentence, you won’t live to see the birth of your child if you do,” Keela said and held her hands up in warning.

As “the enforcer” of the Slater boys, the tough as nails one with the marred face and body, Kane is the most feared and unpredictable one of them all. He's quiet, brooding, posseses a "don't f*#k with me or else you will feel my rath " type of attitude that both intimidates and sends people scattering in the opposite direction ...
But!
Despite his gruff and rough secluded exterior, Kane is a misconstrued and lost individual looking for his purpose in life and solace from his own demons and personal hell.
He's given up hope in everything and does not feel that anyone can understand him or what he's been through, nonetheless, look beyond his damaged appearance.
That is, until, Aideen Collins enters the picture.
So Aideen. We’ve all met Aideen from the previous books and know that despite their love- hate bickering, that there is definitely something there and cooking between Kane and Aideen. Aideen is the only one who can see the REAL Kane. The one that nobody even tries to see. And the one that he hides away from the world and yet yearns to be.
It was wonderful to see how much of a push and a pull these characters bring out of each other, good and bad, and the juxtapositions constantly evolving and changing of them coping with their own situations while also learning and growing how to be a couple.
Not to mention, what with Kane’s sordid past, old enemies resurfacing, the big baby bomb mystery and Kane’s newly revealed medical condition-- it was definitely a roller coaster of hot and cold of heated moments and then opening yourself to be vulnerable.
I ADORED this third Slater alpha piece of Adonis man specimen!
#Loved Kane although I’m still bias and IN LOVE with the BLONDE SLATER TWIN!!
#Aideen was a sassy lass packing a lot of attitude!
#Wished there was MORE Collins bros in the book! Would love to see of spin off series of them in the future!

And Kane was ill and hes still ill and omg is he gona be okay like im frekin out atm give me a sneak peak or something i'm most probably gona die before this book comes out !

I know I'm in for a crazy ride with L.A.Casey!! *whispers* I've seen what she's like on Facebook she's Cray Cray so I expect this book to be no different..And that is exactly what I got..A cray cray Irish read..lol
What I enjoyed with this book and previous ones is the Irish humour and slang that comes through in the narrative, being a kiwi girl this is refreshing..
I think for me personally out of all the Slater Brothers Kane is my favourite, he comes across like this hardass Irish fella but looking beyond that he's probably one of the most breakable out of the brothers, you see a softer side that shows more in this book over the others he's appeared in..Kane Slater is a tortured soul, He is misunderstood by people, even feared by them thanks to the scars that mar his face and body so alot never get to glimpse the man beneath his exterior..
So this book starts off right where book #2 ended, Kane on his way to the hospital, used pregnancy tests everywhere, one positive, and still they all bicker like headless chooks..
I had a headache. A pounding headache. My stomach was queasy and I felt a little dizzy. I felt like shite. I felt like this because I was scared, and all because of a damn plastic stick.
Who is the father?
I had taken a few deep breaths before I whispered his name
WHAT!!
As in me fiancés brother? That Slater?
HOW?
You want to talk me through how he became the father of your unborn child?
If I have to talk you through how I got knocked up, then Alec is doin' somethin' serioulsy wrong in the bedroom.

We were the polar opposites of one another, and butted heads more times than not!! But what Kane wants, Kane gets!! And he had his sights set on Aideen..

I was really disappointed in this book, don't get me wrong I like LA Casey, and i hate leaving less than positive reviews, but for the amount of time i have been waiting to get my hands on this book i expected it to be written better, have more story, have a damn ending and have character depth. I loved Kane through the other books and really wanted to read his story, but it fell flat for me, Aideen was abrasive and unlikable it was either all off and just plain mean or all on and sappy, I couldnt find the softening in her character that im guessing must have been there, and i just felt like she was yelling all the damn time. Is this what Irish woman are really like? These books have portrayed all these woman and mean and arguable and hot tempered. Being hot does not excuse asshole behavior. I felt like shaking my kindle and yelling GET ON WITH IT. It had SO much potential, and such a good set up from the previous brothers books. Im gutted i was really expecting more, and im not looking forward to having to wait another obscene amount of time for the next book.

Ummm can I have the next one now???
I am kicking myself so hard right now for not reading this book sooner. I have had it on my kindle for a month and, stupid me, I ignored poor Kane. *Sigh* Kane (insert dreamy smile here). He's the tough badass of the Slater brothers and the one that most people stay away from. He's huge, he's scarred, and that's all that people see. Everyone except Aideen, that is.
Months ago Aideen and Kane finally acted on their attraction and the result of that is a baby. The two can't stand each other and fight constantly but have to find a way to be civil for the baby on the way. And civil in a way that doesn't always lead to more naked time. Fighting is their foreplay and ho-boy was it steamy.
Kane is actually a complete sweetheart under his tough exterior. He has a lot of pain in his past and doesn't trust easily but he lets Aideen in more than anyone else. I wanted to hug him so tight when I learned the full extent of what he had to deal with in the past. I loved when he let down his walls to open up to Aideen and their relationship started to take a turn. He was really protective of her and it made me all mushy inside.
Aideen kind of frustrated me in the beginning but by the end I didn't have a problem with her. I really liked this story and I have a new favorite Slater brother-well, for now. I did think the ending was kind of abrupt but I am already crazy excited for the next book to find out what else happens.

This just keeps getting better I luv it!!!
I just luv d this so much I couldn't put it down the story is just great I 've Luv this series so much but it just got better with this book Kane my fave Slater brother he us just AMAZING an u just have to luv Aideen she is sassy argumentative an so funny I luv her she doesn't let the Brothers away with a thing an I luv her for it
Aideen is the only girl in her family she as 3 older brother an a younger brother there mum dyin when Aideen was young so she grow up quite quickly an she help her dad with her younger brother Gavin but she is close to al of them she as been spend a lot of time with the Slater gang with her to best friends goin out with 2 of the Brothers an she as got herself into a bit of thing with Kane when I say a thing mostly it's them just arguing which is so funny half of the time but u can c there meant to b together even if they do kill each other half the time
Kane what can I say I luv him like really really luv him I have liked him from the first book he is just amazing my heart went out him so much in this book he as been through so much in his life an them times have turned him into a totally different man than what he used to b an the only people he lets in is his brothers there girls an Aideen she has some power over him an even she doesn't c it like I said Ye they kill each other but he will do anything to protect her an she is just protective of him Ye he's scary lookin an can flip when he is mega pissed off but she can c the Real Kane an I just luv getting to know him so much
This story had so much goin on it was great I thought we got rid of slimy arse men tryin to wreck the Slaters life's but no there is alway someone else waitin but this time they mite of just gone to far cause it's not just the Slater's they have messed with it's Aideen as well an the Collin brother r just as pissed off (God these brothers r just as hot as the Slater I want more of these brother plz) I luv when there al mad an scary but sometimes it is sad an some parts had me really sad an not just about Kane Ryder his older brother is bein a totally arse in this book an I m not likin it at al an then there is Damien God I want him back so much there is still so much goin on I m just dyin to read more an after the end of this Ye a cliffy I really do hate them sooooooo much I m dyin to read more and more about this mad lot
I think u can tell how much I luvd this book so Ye I highly recommend this book an series the author is just brilliant she knows how to keep me on my toes I m just delighted that I finally got to read these books bring on the rest of the Brothers xxx

4, 5 "I WANT THE NEXT BOOK" stars
I really enjoyed this book. It was really funny and sexy. It makes you want to read the next chapter and THE NEXT and etc. Sooo I couldn't put it down really. Unfortunately it doesn't made me want to write long-ass review but I think that is because of the !
Now let's talk about Kane and Aideen... (and Dominic!)
Kane was such a sweetheart! From the first book I knew he was really sweet and thoughtfull. Kane likes to take care of his family. He's one big funny and sexy man who looks bad and hard (no pun intended) from the outside but from the inside he just lonley but sweet, oh so sweet! His opinion about himself was so low, I felt bad for him. He thought the he was a monster and the hate that was withing himself was self destructive.
During the book you can see how he changed, he opens himself more for the world and for his family. In Aideen he saw his salvation. Their is something that only made their bond stronger. His love for Aideen was pure and sweet. He wanted to be her rock and he helped her with everything she needed. And when he talks swoonie things to her... awwww!
Aideen - well I had a few problems with her behavior at some points. I liked how tough she was. These Irish girls are really bad-ass. What I didn't like was her stubborness when it comes to Kane. I get it that she has her reasons butttttt he showed her numerous time that he likes her and everytime (exept one time) she blew him away! But just like Kane through the book she changed and grew up. She just needed to put her big lady pants on and wrap her head around the new things. Regardless her behavior towards Kane she was really funny though. She wanted to help Kane and show him that he is beautiful inside and outside. She meltes the beast and she just wanted to see Kane happy and content with his life. Plus I loved Aideen's brothers and I want more of theeem!
What REALLY LOVE in the book was that my baby DOMINIC had a lot appearance in itttt!Yaaaaaay! He will always be my faveourite Slater brother! Why can't these sexy hell of brothers come to my country and I will be with my arms wideeee open for them, no problem!!! *wink wink*
But the ending though.. WHAT THE EFFIN' EFF?! Just like that..
I know that in the other book we will have answers but !!!
So yeah the ending..

I get it that she has her reasons butttttt he showed her numerous time that he likes her and everytime (exept one time) she blew him away! But just like Kane through the book she changed and grew up. She just needed to put her big lady pants on and wrap her head around the new things. Regardless her behavior towards Kane she was really funny though. She wanted to help Kane and show him that he is beautiful inside and outside. She meltes the beast and she just wanted to see Kane happy and content with his life. Plus I loved Aideen's brothers and I want more of theeem!
What REALLY LOVE in the book was that my baby DOMINIC had a lot appearance in itttt!Yaaaaaay! He will always be my faveourite Slater brother! Why can't these sexy hell of brothers come to my country and I will be with my arms wideeee open for them, no problem!!! *wink wink*
But the ending though.. WHAT THE EFFIN' EFF?! Just like that..
I know that in the other book we will have answers but !!!
So yeah the ending..

I read 'Kane' yesterday, and today, I woke up thinking.. something's not right.
I was struggling with this book. Parts of it I sort of liked, and mostly it was what I expected (with the Slater boys being Slater boys), but then there was the whole issue of "keeping the baby". I felt like I was reading anti-choice/pro-life propaganda on abortion, coupled with some religious aspects that pretty much killed the story for me right there. I don't see the reason for mentioning these views on abortion in a book that, I'm sure, wasn't really meant to air out personal views on such matters.
To anyone who has been through similar life experiences concerning abortion/keeping 'accidental' babies.. this book would be a really difficult read due to the subjective and somewhat judgmental views on pro-choice.
And this might just be my subjective view, but if you're going to write about difficult subjects, perhaps do your research on the 'other' side as well, so that you won't step on a big pile of ignorance.

Uhhh... What an odd place to end a book.
I understand the books are continuations, but this didn't even finish Aideen and Kane's story.
As a story it was okay; the last 15% seemed extremely rushed and we weren't really left with a cliff-hanger but a "did my Kindle not download the entire book?" feeling

Eu queria muito ler o Kane. Ainda mais depois de como terminou o livro da Keela. A L. A. Casey deu um susto tremendo nos fãs. Ainda bem que antes de lançar ela já tinha falado que nada do que estávamos pensando ia acontecer. UFA!

Se você gostou dos outros livros, vai amar Kane. Tanto o livro quanto a pessoa.
Como todo livro dos irmãos Slater, as mulheres são forte e não abaixam cabeça pra ninguém. Nem pra essa familia. Kane vem pra mostrar a verdadeira Aideen. Vem também mostrar a carência e o lado fofo de um homem que, por sua aparência, cheio de cicatrizes, é considerado um monstro. Monstro pros outros, porque saber o tanto que ele foi quebrado, como "conseguiu" aquelas cicatrizes.....putz. Vemos que toda aquela cara de mau é uma fachada.
Nesse ainda tem as discussões, mas achei que foram bem menos do que no outros. Teve sexo, mas focou mais na historia. E que história! Toda familia presente. E já vemos o que deverá acontecer no livro do Ryder.
Como nos outros, a autora deixou a parte tensa mais pro final e eu fiquei nervosa e com medo de ela não nos mostrar o fim daqueles acontecimentos. E gracas a Deus temos um "fim".
O melhor, claro, ficou para o final. Eu pulei de alegria. Me empolguei mais que os personagens. Louca já aguardando o conto da Aideen pra saber o resto da história.
Se recomendo? Demais!!!!!

I must admit, I expected Kane to be a man of zero to few words. What I didn't expect is for Kane to be so caring, so sweet, so humble (okay, okay.. at times) and so family oriented. I thought he's the silent type who bears the weight of the world... but nooo.. Kane talks.. A LOT. And when he talks, PEOPLE SHOULD LISTEN. I think that's the best thing about him. :)
He's all that and I just love him this big..
Now as for Aideen... I have nothing to say except I WANT TO BE HER!!! BIG TIME!!!

I like Aideen because she's a woman who can bend to the new things in her life. I like that she doesn't take Kane's or anybody else's crap. I like that she has her own mind and that she wants to be responsible for herself, but also knows when she should accept help from other people. I like how she cares about people. She cares deeply and she cares with a vengeance. I like how she interacts with her family. Having four brothers must be so hard for her, but she breezes through every single one of them. Must be nice being a princess in the family, eh Ado? ;) Now what I LOVE about Aideen is her kindness towards Kane even from the start. There's something there. Underneath all the bullshit that is her saying that she's pissed at him or whatever. She was focused on him from the start and never let him down til the end. I love it.
I love them.
The other characters in this series definitely add an extra OOMPH to this book! I just love how they go to being serious one minute then laughing their assess off the next! It's still the unique quality of this series! All of these characters have the ability to knock your sad faces off! ;)
Aideen and Kane (and everyone else in the gang, really) embark in a new chapter in this series. They learn the value of sharing, caring and everything else in between. Someone from the past tries to steal their happy bubble, but as I expected... the brothers are all prepared for battle. Nobody hurts their women! There's romance, action, comedy and mystery.. What else are you looking for?? READ IT NOW!!

These books just keep getting better and better. Kane Slater is my favorite brother. He is the scarred and mysterious one that has had a very torturious past. Underneath all of his hardcore stand offish personality though he is nothing but a scared and sensitive individual who craves love. He finds that with Aideen; but it definitely wasn't easy for the two of them to fall in love. It was hate at first sight for the both of them, but when they finally give in to their passion for each other...holy smoly...the sparks fly!!! Something happens with this couple though at the beginning which fast forwards them into making some very serious decisions about their relationship!!! I won't ruin it, but there are a lot of secrets that Kane is holding, and Aideen will need to get to the bottom of them if she ever wants to know him as a whole person. Can she do it? Or will Kane walk away??
I devoured this book!! Actually, this whole series I am inhaling it!! LOL The main thing I keep stressing is that it is one of those series that gets way better as it goes along. The Slade brothers get under your skin and it is impossible not to fall in love with these extreme alpha males! I am just so pleased to have given this series a chance. I will say that the first book was just ok....but once you get past it; the rest is impossible not to love!!

I'm keeping this short and sweet because I need to jump into the next book. I haven't read this series is 4 years! FOUR YEARS! I still can't believe that the first time I read Dominic's book was four years ago.
I skipped Alec's book because of a spoiler I saw that made it clear that book wouldn't be for me but I still really wanted to read the other books. Normally I'm very anal about reading books in order, even if they are standalones so I was worried I would be lost with this book or confused but I wasn't at all.
I really enjoyed this book, it's a more character driven story which I think played a huge role into why I loved it so much. I really love these group of friends and their dynamic. I enjoyed the romance though I felt it could've been fleshed out more. I feel like these books are kind of ridiculous when you think about it but it's like a guilty pleasure. I know there are better books out there but yet I really, really enjoy these and will keep reading them anyhow (LOL).

Seriously, guys... This series is addictive....

Honestly, these guys are driving me crazy, but in a good way...
I love every single one of them (and I don't mean only the Slater Brothers, but their women too!!!) for a different reason!!!
I love how crazy they are and how they are making me laugh all the time, but they are also making me shed some tears, damn them!!! I love their adventures so damn much!!!
Well, this was Aideen and Kane's story!!!
Those two they are bickering all the damn time since the first moment that they met... They call it hatred, the readers are calling it sexual tension... A foreplay as Kane told in some point in here...
What brought them closer was Kane's illness, which Aideen take it upon her shoulders to help him get through it... Hmmm... For a person with so much hate for the man, this was strange...
Also, their lives are about to change forever since they are connecting now for ever... You sneaky bastards!!!! You did it after all and you kept lying!!!!
But the road aren't easy for those two too.... They have many problems to override and most of all, they have to accept that this thing between them are not hate, but something bigger and greater than this!!!

This girl was whitty and hilarrious... She was a strong woman and she could hold her own...
I loved her arguments with Kane, but also the strained relationship that she was having with Keela's dog!!! Bahahaha... I was cracking up every single time...
Her feelings for Kane was always there, but she couldn't accept them and many times, i wanted to shut her up and put some mind on her brain!!! She infuriated me!!!
But I still loved her, and because she was in a sensitive position, i could totally relate with her in many levels!!!
"He knew we weren't suited as a couple just as much as I knew it. We were the polar opposites of one another, and butted heads more times than not. We weren't good together. We didn't even like one another."
"I hated with everything in me that I found him attractive. Hating somebody and still finding them stunning in appearance was torture. Utter torture."
Kane was a sweetheart, even though from the outside he appeared to be the scarriest Slater brother... He was also the most tortured from all of them...
His face and body was marred by ugly scars who terrified most of the people, but he didn't care at all... He wanted his solitude and the only company that he was comfortable was his brothers and their girls and of course, Aideen who didn't seem to be scared by his appearance...
As the rest of his brothers, in here we learned about his truth and it wasn't really good!!!
Aideen changed him and she became the most precious thing for him...
"You're supposed to be ill..."
"I don't feel sick when I'm with you. Maybe you're the drug I need to get better."
"I'm not a drug."
"I don't know about that, babydoll.... Feeling you wrapped around me, having you so close to me, breathing your intoxicating scent, wanting to taste you for as long as I live... I'd definitely say you're my addiction. You're my drug."
"I don't like people, Aideen. Ever. I sometimes can't stand to be around my btothers, but I want to be around you all the time. Do you understand that? I want to be around you. I need you, babydoll. You keep me sane, by driving me insane."
I really loved Kane and Aideen...

Altro giro, altro fratello. Questa volta tocca a Kane, la narratrice principale è Aideen, la sua nemesi, colei con cui non riesce mai ad avere una discussione seria perchè finiscono sempre per prendersi in giro e litigare. Eravamo rimasti con il dubbio: chi fra Bronagh, Branna, Aideen ed Alannah è incinta? Le ragazze dopo aver bevuto un po' troppo a casa di Keela si ritrovano con dei test di gravidanza appena fatti, ma poi vengono mischiati e nessuno sa più qual'è il suo. Il punto è che uno è positivo alla grande. Chi sarà? Lo scoprirete proprio qui.
La storia fra Kane e Aideen mi è piaciuta molto. Mi è piaciuto sopratutto Kane che secondo me è stato strutturato benissimo. Un passato pieno di demoni, un anima ferita oltre al corpo pieno di segni che mai se ne andranno. In una scena, mi sono emozionata perchè nonostante sia un uomo grande e grosso, confessa ad Aideen che si sente solo da quando i suoi fratelli hanno trovato le ragazze, aggiungiamoci che non si fida delle persone, ora che ha trovato Aideen e ha ammesso a sè stesso di provare qualcosa per lei la vuole per sè, non vuole più essere solo, vuole amare anche lui come i suoi fratelli. Già ti amo Kane, sei dolce come il cioccolato.
Lo stile della Casey è sempre ironico, per tante cose mi ricorda la serie Stage Dive di Kylie Scott dove c'è da sghignazzare ogni cinque minuti, i battibecchi dei fratelli Slater con le loro fidanzate sono sempre esilaranti, specialmente perchè sono tutte delle psicopatiche. Non so, sono davvero così le irlandesi? In quel caso, si salvi chi può, sul serio.
Aideen da spirito libero si ritrova ad avere un enorme peso sulle spalle, non solo ha problemi con i suoi fratelli - uno di loro si è messo in un brutto giro e a quanto pare non vuole neanche uscirne - ma ha anche problemi a rivelare i suoi sentimenti a Kane, dopo essersi odiati per così tanto tempo. Le cose che verranno a galla mi hanno fatta sorridere, io un po' me lo aspettavo, li adoro tantissimo insieme, e penso che Kane si meriti tantissimo tutto l'amore che Aideen può dargli. Il finale è stato da WHOA! perchè finalmente d'ora in poi possiamo vedere più spesso una personcina che è stata assente dal primo libro.
More to come, li voglio leggere tutti questi Slater.

In una scena, mi sono emozionata perchè nonostante sia un uomo grande e grosso, confessa ad Aideen che si sente solo da quando i suoi fratelli hanno trovato le ragazze, aggiungiamoci che non si fida delle persone, ora che ha trovato Aideen e ha ammesso a sè stesso di provare qualcosa per lei la vuole per sè, non vuole più essere solo, vuole amare anche lui come i suoi fratelli. Già ti amo Kane, sei dolce come il cioccolato.
"E' per causa tua se ci sono le istruzioni sui flaconi degli shampoo."
"Stai insinuando che sono stupido?"
"No, ti sto dicendo chiaramente che sei stupido."
"Maleducata! Sei davvero maleducata." esclamò Kane. Non riuscii a non ridere.
"Scusa, fiorellino."
Lo stile della Casey è sempre ironico, per tante cose mi ricorda la serie Stage Dive di Kylie Scott dove c'è da sghignazzare ogni cinque minuti, i battibecchi dei fratelli Slater con le loro fidanzate sono sempre esilaranti, specialmente perchè sono tutte delle psicopatiche. Non so, sono davvero così le irlandesi? In quel caso, si salvi chi può, sul serio.
Aideen da spirito libero si ritrova ad avere un enorme peso sulle spalle, non solo ha problemi con i suoi fratelli - uno di loro si è messo in un brutto giro e a quanto pare non vuole neanche uscirne - ma ha anche problemi a rivelare i suoi sentimenti a Kane, dopo essersi odiati per così tanto tempo. Le cose che verranno a galla mi hanno fatta sorridere, io un po' me lo aspettavo, li adoro tantissimo insieme, e penso che Kane si meriti tantissimo tutto l'amore che Aideen può dargli. Il finale è stato da WHOA! perchè finalmente d'ora in poi possiamo vedere più spesso una personcina che è stata assente dal primo libro.
More to come, li voglio leggere tutti questi Slater.

This was an amazing read. Each book just keeps getting better and better. I could not put this book down, let alone the series. Kane is my favourite Slater brother in the series and might be my favourite book of the series as well. The story was amazing. I loved every moment watching the Slaters brothers fall in love with their girls. The girls have a lot of feist and sass in them too. In this story, we get to see Kane fall in love with Aideen. I love Kane. He has been through a lot of things in his life. It was interesting to see the different sides to his character. He only shows the real Kane to his brothers, their girlfriends, and Aideen. I love how much he loves Aideen. It is like he is under her spell. Aideen is sassy, fierce and funny. She is the only girl in her family. I was immediately drawn to her character because she is sassy and snarky. I love it. She has 3 older brothers and 1 younger brother. She had to take care of Gavin, her younger brother at a very young age. She is always hanging out with the Slater brothers because two of her friends are dating two of the brothers. However, what I loved the most about her character was that she was so protective over Kane. I can't wait to re-read Ryder's story and an Aideen's short story in the series. Also, I can't wait to read the Collins Brothers series. Overall, a fantastic read.

Ok where to start? I liked some of it but I didn't like much of it. That ending pissed me off. Again I read a book where the heroine is pregnant most of the book but it ends without her having the baby. That just pisses me off. I think if you are pregnant in your own book like really pregnant you should have the baby at least in the epilogue!!!! There was no epilogue in this book!! Then they didn't get to the sex until after 75%. I did like super sweet Kane that was nice to see. But honestly I don't know if I will continue on with the series. I didn't really like book 2 and now this one? IDK we will see.

Four Slater Brothers Stars
I've really been anticipating Kane's story! The whole dark, brooding, quiet and sexy thing really gets to me and Kane always seems to portray every one of those qualities. What made this story even better is that deep down, he's a sweetheart.
I had a bit of a hard time connecting with Aideen. I wanted to see and get to know more of her personal qualities but their was so much of a focus on Kane, his brothers, her brothers and her "big secret" that she herself didn't stick out as much to me.
Nevertheless it was still a really good read. I absolutely love the Slater Brothers.

I'm only still reading these books because I love Dominic way too much.
Unfortunately the next books after Dominic are boring me... I preferred the high school setting with a love-hate relationship instead of nearly 30-year-old characters who still act like fucking teenagers.
Throughout this book all I could think was: "Grow the fuck up!"

I need to read Kane now. I have just finished reading Alec and at the end I could feel myself getting panicked over the fact that we wouldn't find out what was happening with Kane. I am so stressed right now its unbelievable.

I have been waiting for this book for months since I last read Keela's book. masterpiece. so sweet, heartbreaking and raw.. i wasn’t expecting kane’s history to be so sad. i’m so in love with every single aspect of this family, their bond makes me wanna cry all the damn time.
So Kane is the brother with the scars. The one every one usually fears when they see him. Not Aideen Though , I really thought there bickering was freaking hilarious. Aideen is Keela's best friend we met her in the previous books. She is the only one out of all of them who has the damn balls to poke at Kane just to get a reaction. And the best thing is that he does it back too , so they are both arguing 24/7. Kane was sweet regardless of all the gruff.
the ending OMG!! the ending!!! i cried i screamed i laughed because one hot blonde twin finally made it back to his brothers!!!! ahhhhhhhhh!!!! I want Damien next OMG!! Kane is by far, my favorite in the series so far and kept me on the edge with a barrel of emotions!

Ed eccomi qui con la recensione del terzo capitolo della serie Slater Brothers: “Love – Un Pensiero Infinito”.
Qualche mese fa dopo aver letto il primo libro della serie; “Love – Un Nuovo Destino” non avrei mai pensato di poter essere così coinvolta da questa serie. La storia di Bronagh e Nico l’avevo sì trovata carina, ma niente di più e se ho letto il secondo capitolo “Love – Un Incredibile incontro” è stato più per noia che per reale interesse ed è stata un autentica sorpresa scoprirmi talmente coinvolta da divorare un libro di quasi quattrocento pagine in pochissime ore, e una volta terminato ne volevo ancora. Non vedevo l’ora di immergermi nella storia di Kane, ed è per questo che sono corsa a comprarlo appena uscito.
Sono, quindi, giunta alla conclusione che dopo un inizio un po’ in salita questa serie mi sta conquistando romanzo dopo romanzo perché i fratelli Slater sono un po’ come le ciliegie: uno tira l’altro. Inoltre questa banda di fratelli bad boy sono uno meglio dell’altro e io non posso più fare a meno di loro.
In “Love – Un Pensiero Infinito”tocca al terzo dei cinque fratelli raccontarci la sua storia, e sono più che certa che se avete amato i romanzi precedenti, novelle comprese, non potrete far altro che adorarlo perché Kane non ha assolutamente nulla da invidiare alla banda degli Slater.
Il romanzo riprende esattamente da dove si era interrotta la seconda novella - “Love – Amori Perduti”; Kane dopo essere svenuto in un centro commerciale è diretto all’ospedale e le ragazze – Bronagh, Branna e Aideen – stanno impazzendo perché hanno fatto per gioco un test di gravidanza, uno dei test è positivo e loro non sanno chi delle tre è in dolce attesa.
Così è come li abbiamo lasciati e così è come li ritroviamo all’inizio del terzo capitolo della serie e se volete sapere cosa accade dopo non dovrete far altro che aprire il libro e iniziare a leggere perché sulla trama non vi svelerò nulla, il rischio di spoiler è davvero altissimo e non sarò di certo io a rovinarvi la sorpresa svelandovi qualche dettaglio.
Tutto quello che vi dirò ora riguarda i due protagonisti che conosceremo meglio tra le pagine della loro storia.
Aideen Collins e Kane Slater sono attrattissimi l’uno dall’altra, ma non hanno nessuna intenzione di ammetterlo. Apparentemente si detestano e infatti il loro rapporto non è altro che un battibecco continuo. Risposte per le rime, battute al vetriolo e bisticci su bisticci sono all’ordine del giorno quando sono a distanza ravvicinata e vi garantisco che il tutto rende la lettura estremamente divertente, perché è impossibile non sghignazzare di fronte ai loro siparietti comici... Firstly I would like to give a big AMAZING THANK YOU to L.A.Casey my friend and author of this freaking EPIC book, for giving me the honour of reading and reviewing an ARC. I was in a big reading slump where no books grabbed me and it felt like I was just skimming through books, so i was dying to get this book as I knew it would bring me out of my slump and MY GOD it brought me out and took me to a new level. I read it in one sitting and i will also admit that I took the ipad to the toilet because i couldn't put it down (I might miss something important lmao)
If you haven't yet met the Slater boys im telling you, you are nuts and are missing out on some off the chain hotness. So i suggest you stop whatever you are reading and start the series because im telling you, you will fall in love with all the boys, and it will be very hard to figure out which one you love more lol, I even adore all the girls, nothing beats these Irish girls ( what can i say i have i big soft spot for the girls too lol)
In every book we saw and read about the mysterious Kane, but damm this book. I found him so diffrent from the rest of the boys, more closed and wants to be left alone, very hard to reach but when it came to Aideen he had a big soft spot .
When Kane's health has a turn, he only trusts one person to help him Aideen, and when he finds out some news that will change his life forever it makes their connection off the chart. I found Aideen to be a bit different from the other girls she seems more reserved just like Kane but still has the Irish Fiestiness about her that i love, I think this is why they were drawn to each other. Kane doesn't like people at all but with Aideen its different. The connection they have is so beautiful, Kane has alot of skeletons in his closet and some not even his brothers know about. Will he tell her all these secrets? Will she see the monster he really is or will she accept him for him? This story is not an easy ride but damm it was amazing to watch go down. I found this book different from the other and that is because Kane is very different from his brothers, Kane is not as obvious with his affection and desire to be with Aideen than his bros are lol but its still with the love hate banter that they go through which made me laugh out loud alot lol we also got to see the rest of the family and see what is going on whether it was good all bad well you will have to read to find out but now i am so hanging for the next one cannot wait.. I RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE WHO HASNT READ IT, AND IF YOU HAVE READ IT ON JUNE 2 GO OUT AND GET KANE CUS DAMMMMNNNN YOU NEED IT LIKE YESTERDAY!!! So if you haven't pre-ordered it do it NOOOWWWWW. YOU WONT REGRET IT !!!
