Trioen fra flere ganger prisbelønnede Brune er endelig tilbake!

Det har flyttet inn en ny jente i det gamle bakeriet. Atle synes hun er spennende. Han tenker at hvis han bare låner premiehøna til ordføreren, og så later som han har funnet den, vil han sikkert komme i avisen, og den nye jenta vil bli imponert og like ham.

Det er verdt et forsøk.

Men når forsøket ikke går helt etter planen, og alt plutselig blir litt vanskelig, må Atle ha hjelp av superhelten Svartle, og de trofaste følgesvennene Brune og Blåse. Brune og Blåse forstår ikke helt hva som har skjedd, eller hva de er med på, men det gjør egentlig ikke Atle heller. Det er duket for spenning og forviklinger.

Black is a good as brown and entertaining as well. I didn't expect to enjoy this middle grade book and kind of fall in love with it.

As much as I love Brown, I feel Black ismy favorite so far. Wait until I read Blue to see if I'm going to like that one better. This is a fun read for me. I totally enjoy myself reading about the 3 friends again. Rusty, Jack and Lou. But in this book the main focus is on Jack.

I loved that the writing is so good and it was kind of like easy going and the author didn't have to put so much effort to have kids or adults to like this book! Everyone will love this book! It's also so cute to see how Jack wants to impress the new girl in town. It's so funny reading Rusty, Jack and Lou conversations throughout this book.

Highly recommend it to everyone regardless if you're into middle grade books or not.

"Ерлен Черен" на български. Втората от трилогията за три деца, които живеят в малко норвежко село и отмъщават на младежите, които ги тормозят, като им боядисват колелетата, а също се изживяват и нещо като детективи.

Прочетохме и трите книжки със седемгодишата ми дъщеря на един дъх и страшно ни харесаха и на двете. За Ина я четохме и повторно. Най-интересни са самите герои и членовете на техните семейства. Те са предадени съвсем откровено и по човешки, заедно и с недостатъците си, но без авторът да дава някакви нравоучителни оценки. Атмосферата в отдалеченото норвежко село е предадена по много задушевен начин и чрез текста, и чрез чудесните илюстрации в книжката.

Ikkje fullt så intens som Brune, men gjev like mykje å tenkje på.

This series is surprising! Although the plot moves around a pretty typical and believable kid conflict, it's the dialog and the character decisions that make it feel real. Too often kids in novels think and act like adults would want them to act, and I find Øvreås does the necessary work to try to re-inhabit the mind of a kid. These kids are flawed so the mistakes they make as they try to be heroic are hilarious, and the fact that they pull off the resolution in the end just seems like dumb luck. I enjoyed that.

A couple years of studying Norsk is paying off with books like this. I read the other two books in the series, Brune and Blåse, and find them just as interesting and haphazard.

След „Яв Кафяв” просто нямаше начин да оставя скандинавските супергерои на Хокон Йовреос. Много ми допада хрумката всяка от следващите книги да се фокусира повече върху приятелите на Яв. Сега е ред под светлината на прожекторите да застане „Ерлен Черен” (изд. „Фют”). Той наистина копнее за известност, но блясъкът на славата не се постига току така. Ерлен губи ума и дума, не пред някой зъл гений, заплашил селото му, а пред едно новопристигнало в селото момиче, чието присъствие му действа като криптонит.

“Ерлен Черен” е хем забавна, хем има напрегнат сюжет, а героите са три напълно обикновени деца, каквито се срещат на всяка улица, във всяко населено място. Единствено въображението им работи на пълни обороти, което понякога ги поставя в нетипични ситуации. А, да, имат си и колиба, за която си струва човек да се разправя с разни хулигани.

Значително по-малко ми хареса от "Яв Кафяв", стори ми се разтеглена, с твърде много пълнеж.
(Супер е, че майката на Ерлен е в инвалидна количка, без това да е фокусът на нейния персонаж и без изобщо да е тема в книгата, но ми се стори адски странно стаята на сина ѝ да е на горния етаж, до който се стига по дървена стълба с препречки.)

Het verhaal heeft een heerlijke droge humor, de tekeningen passen er goed bij, ook al vind ik ze wat harkerig en stijf. Nu wil ik gauw 'Bruno wordt een superheld' lezen. Beide boeken kunnen wel wat promotie gebruiken, schat ik. Misschien is voorlezen nog wel het beste. Voor kinderen vanaf 8 jaar.

Still off kilter but a different story entirely than the remarkable Brown. It feels like a small beginning to a giant universe-story. As if Ovreas had all the time in the world to piece it all together for us in the deft details of his characters quiet lives and small moments.
