Thoughts: It's like a bad Wikipedia article got xeroxed into a book and then scanned onto my kindle. There are terrible typing errors that would have been fixed by even a basic edit. The worst part was the tense kept changing every other sentence. I finally skimmed the last few pages just to get through. Good thing I was so short and only took me 15 minutes. Save yourself some time and read the Wikipedia article on Alexander the Great, it's better written with more information.
A very short (I mean really short) overview of Alexander the Great's career.
It is only helpful if you decide to continue with Plutarch and Arrian's ancient text on Alexander, and need a overview and a context before tackling their more voluminous works.
This book is full of errors of punctuation and grammar. It is so lacking in detail that it wouldn't receive a passing grade as a high school term paper. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Two chapters and I through in the towel.
