Phantom Heartstrings
Love comes easy to some. It came easy to me. Loving him was never an issue. Appreciating him was as easy as breathing. Years of living a life of what others viewed as perfection gave me the security I thought was most valuable.
My marriage to Drake is symbolic of what others fight for, yet living in the glass house of perfection is the biggest challenge of my life. Life isn’t always what it seems. People change. Everyone has demons they fight and fighting them in secret to avoid letting others down takes its toll.

Phantom Heartstrings is an emotionally powerful book. I was shattered by this book but chapter by chapter Cami and Drake healed my broken heart. You will feel emotions from deep in your soul with this story and come out smiling by the end. Felicia Lynn did an amazing job and stole my heart with this book.

I adore this series and I think Phantom Heartstrings is my favourite.
I love this story, like really, really LOVE it. It's heartbreakingly beautiful, it's about a real couple and a situation I'm sure thousands of couples find themselves in. How, when your heart is breaking how can you hold on to your relationship? When life is going despite the storm you're in, how do you keep everything together?
Phantom Heartstrings is Drake and Cami's story, the story of them fighting for their marriage, of trying to remember what brought them together in the first place. It's a story about a husband and wife and how when life gets tough, they have to fight for what means the most to them.
I was hooked from the very first page, I wanted to know more about these two characters and I wanted them to heal so badly. I cried so many times reading this story, it gripped my heart and didn't let go. Felicia's tells the story with so much emotion and rawness it's simply breathtaking.

There's a saying I've seen around, #ByeFelicia, but I say HEY FELICIA! Where have you been all my life?! What a fantastic book!
Drake and Cami have had the perfect marriage on the outside for years. It all comes crashing down with a life altering event. This situation pokes holes in their perfect life, showing them that they have to work harder at maintaining a true love. Can they work through it to make their marriage stronger, or will it tear them apart?

OMG this book is so beautiful and devastating at the same time. First ever book i have read by this author and man did she pull me through the emotional spin cycle. There was laughter, oh so many tears like seriously it takes a lot to make me cry. This is a grown up story by that i mean grown up problems and issues are dealt with in what feels a very honest way. I say feels as i have never dealt with these issues. Not to give too much away but Cami and Drake fight to save themselves, their future and their souls in this book. Gotta hand it to Felicia but i am now on the look out for a man like Drake he is strong in heart and body but also the right level of unassuming and learns from Cami. While Cami oh my heart hurt for her, she lost herself physically,emotionally and she needed to regroup and focus on herself first before others for a change but life means sometimes we do not always get the . One question this book raised for me is what happened to her friend, i am kinda on the edge of my seat to find out and read her story in the future....

Phantom Heartstrings is a book that will always stay with me. Beautifully written and emotionally packed. Cami and Drake's story is very relatable and heartwarming. They show you how unconditional true love is everlasting. No relationship is perfect no matter how hard you try to portray that. I love that they are REAL and their heartache is REAL. My heart was broke at the beginning and once again whole by the end. Get your tissues ready.

This wonderfully written book has taken my emotions on a journey of epic proportions. My heat was broken and mended. This story is a truly amazing love story at its finest. Drake and Can show us how to love and be loved, and it is true, "all we have is time". Felicia Lynn you have done it again, written a book so wonderful that as with all your books the characters will stay in my heart for always. I love awarding this book 5 wonderful stars ~Rosie

Phantom Heartstrings was a very short and simple book about life. The story shows the real truth about marriage and the real problems a man and wife have. It also shows the struggles of the couple trying to get back to the way it used to be. Life is not all about hearts and rainbows, there’s also the ugly that we have to survive. Cami and Drake in this story lived that life that every couple would want, but it was all a lie. They were both hurting inside and it took a lot out of them before the fight happened. I felt for these two, not wanting that fight to happen. But sometimes for things to get good, the ugly has to come out. The Author gives us what this couple went through and go through before getting back to that space that is good for both of them. Great ending.

I loved reading this series! You get to grow and evolve with these ladies and their men. Each book focuses on a different couple but you still "see" all the couples.
Cami and Drake have the perfect marriage/relationship. They have the white picket house, the kids, love each other, everything is right in their world. Right? Until you learn that not everything is as it seems and you cry and feel along with them both and triumph when obstacles are overcome.
This book deals with a very tough topic (I'm not saying what) but it is done beautifully and with real, raw emotion and feeling. A great, emotive read!

The one thing I can count on with Felicia Lynn is how emotionally powerful her writing is. It sucks you in and you get wrapped up in the love story she writes. Phantom Heartstrings is just that. It is a beautiful tale of love that fights against everything thrown at them. Drake and Cami go through the ringer and their love endures even though it’s a real trial for both of them. My heart just couldn’t take much more but Lynn pieced it back together.
Overall, this is one of my faves of this series. It gives you a large range of emotions plus events that absolutely destroy you. If you haven’t tried this series, run, don’t walk to snag it up. You will not be disappointed!

Phantom Heartstrings is a breathtakingly beautiful novel that will warm your heart. I find this to be very real and believe that many couples have found themselves in the same situation. How do you continue your life through the storm? How do you manage to live and keep going on despite all troubles that life sometimes brings. I feel this book well make you really think about life. This book is full of ups and downs, hope, love, family and the will to fight on. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book.

To their friends, Cami and Drake appear to have the perfect relationship. High School sweethearts who've been married for 14 years and have brought four delightful little ones into their happily ever after. There is trouble in paradise though, and no one outside the two of them know.
Always the one to lend an ear or offer support amongst her tight knit group of friends, Cami has never really needed the favor returned, and now that she does, she doesn't know how to ask. Doesn't know how to even broach the subject since doing so would involve talking about the one issue she can't even talk to her husband about. The same one Drake can't talk to her about either.
This book was a really difficult read for me, since the subject matter hit so close to home, compounded by just how well it was written. I've lived that experience, had those exact same marital difficulties and had to bridge that same divide as Cami and Drake face in the story. So when I say the story is well written, that's what I'm saying. There were passages that had me reliving experiences from nearly eighteen years ago as if they were only yesterday and it was deeply moving.
Beyond that its a touching tale of a couple who've grown too complacent in their marriage. Starting to believe their own hype, they've gotten so caught up in the day to day that they've lost sight, just a little, of why they're in this in the first place.
Also, in what I think is a creative masterstroke, Felicia Lynn - Author weaves many of the threads left hanging from the previous novel into the narrative of this one, through the two respective female leads being close friends and confidants.
Attempting to ignore, for a moment how difficult certain parts of the storyline were for me to read, I thought this was a particularly well crafted novel, and I absolutely adored it.

This is the 3rd book in the Heartstrings Series, it is a standalone but I would recommend reading the first 2 books in the series as all characters are interconnected. This book is Drake and Cami's story, they have been together for 14 years and have 4 wonderful children together but they are going through something most couples would hate to deal with. I won't go into too much detail as it will spoil it for you but reading what they are going through is heartbreaking and just pulls in your emotions so much.

This book was absolutely amazing! It doesn't have the level of heat that the first two books had but it didn't lack in that department either. This book is about getting back to the basics. This is the third heartstrings book and although you could read it as a standalone it makes more sense to have read the other two so you can understand all of the characters and how they are connected to each other.
I adore this author, even though I only found her a few months ago.... All three books have been real page turners.
This one is extremely emotional, and although I have never experienced anything like what the main characters are going through, I could feel nothing but pain for them throughout. Its written in a way that makes you sense much more than other books.
I totally recommend the heartstrings series, though you have been warned to have your tissues ready for this particular one <3

Another winner!
I have to be honest, the premise of this book made me a little nervous. I'm an escapist reader, and don't usually care for "real world struggles" in my books. I have loved the first two books in this series, so I was definitely willing to give this a try. I'm so glad I did. I can't even explain how this book made me feel. The emotions felt by this couple in a very difficult time were so real I was moved to tears. I especially loved Drake's POV in this story. His thoughts, emotions, and realizations were what every woman hopes her husband feels. I was once again enraptured by the story Felicia Lynn told. I could not put it down.

Where to start! I loved Drake and Cami. I could really relate to the trials and troubles that happen in a marriage, especially one that long. From Cami feeling like she has lost herself and not doing the things she used to love, to Drake becoming complacent and taking things for granted. That being said, how great is Drake!!! The things he did to get their marriage on track and reconnect were amazing. My husband needs to read this book too :) Love this series and looking forward to more!!

Sweet ending to the series.
I think this book identifies many issues that women have. You become a wife and or mother, and many times you forget you. It would be nice if all husbands could be like Drake!
