How to Talk to Your Cat - The Secret of How to Make Your Favourite Pet Your Best Friend

Rate this book

How to make your favourite pet your best friend? Since becoming domestic pets thousands of years ago, an incredible understanding has evolved between them and their human owners, and while most of us are very close to our cats, there are an amazing amount of simple things you can do to strengthen that bond even further.

This wonderful book tells us how to communicate with our cats by giving us a sound education about how they function, what they love and hate, and how they behave. This knowledge enables us to respond directly to a pet's needs and easily smooth over problems as they occur.

The more you know about your cat, the more it will appreciate you and the rewards of this love will bring you closer together in a mutually rewarding and lifelong relationship.

A solid 3 stars (maybe 3 1/2) for a good book about cats and their behavior. It provides a general overview of various aspects. The title is a bit misleading, as the book covers more than communication. Chapters and sections within the chapters are short, without going into a lot of detail. I would have preferred more content on a narrower topic. If you only read one book on cats and their behavior, this shouldn't be the one. But it's a nice supplement to other books on the field.

Some solid advice and interesting information in this book. It is a bit dated in places, though. I read this one during my lunch breaks at work, as it was easy to put down and pick up again.
