In the sleepy town of Carson, New Year is fast approaching. Rosemary and her husband, the local doctor, are having the biggest party to celebrate. And Amelia Lucas, a best-selling crime novelist, and friend of Rosemary, has been invited and although she would rather spend the night in with Patrick, she has agreed to attend.
