4 - "There's not enough Tequila in this world." Stars!
The above quote pretty accurately reflects my feelings when I received and ARC of Delicious Complication to my in-box. To say I disliked its predecessor Delicious Temptation, would be a bit of an understatement, in fact I was ready to sign myself in for a thorough eye-bleaching after I finished it. But I am a nosey cow, I openly admit I am not one who likes to miss out on things, so I took a peek, and I am glad I did, one chapter turned into two, and two turned into the whole book.
I had no issue with the authors writing in Delicious Temptation the problems I had were wholly in the characters, their attitudes, behavior, backgrounds and the story-line they found themselves dropped in. And to be honest I wasn't expecting much from Daisy and Brandon's book because of this. Initially, because I disliked Daisy hugely in book one, and also because the whole Fake-Fiancee trope has been done to death lately. But when written well and included in a story-line, with amenable characters I am still happy to give it a go.
The author got everything right this time for me, and I am glad I gave this book a chance, put my initial reservations behind me and settled in for what I can honestly say was a really enjoyable and sexy read. Yes it's extremely predictable, but I didn't mind that, I grew to like Daisy the more the book progressed, Brandon was sexy, and their moments together once they got going were spicy... The dirty talk was a little cheesy at points, but it added to the charm, and to be honest compared to the list of issues I had with this books predecessor amounts to absolutely nothing in the scheme of things.

Ms. Sol did it again - another comfort read with an All-Star Latinx cast that I enjoyed like a good asopao, aka a hearty Puerto Rican soup/stew/bowl of deliciousness, on a cold day.
Daisy Robles (cousin to the heroine of book 1, Delicious Temptation) is a fledgling wedding planner who clashes with her cousin’s business partner, Brandon Montoya, on the regular. He’s a hotshot restaurateur...emphasis on hot. When they almost hook up after her cousin’s wedding, one thing leads to another and Brandon finds himself asking Daisy to pretend to be his fiancee to appease his mama, and before you know it - sí, romance happens.
I love that this ‘verse has been giving me something personal to connect to, characters that look like me, and are flawed but interesting. Daisy and Brandon are both passionate, and reactionary at times, and that may not be everyone’s cuppa, but I understood them and wanted them to get it right. Their Firsts are most definitely HOT, and bonus points to Ms. Sol for working in a mutual master-fun scene for extra heat.
There’s a more serious subplot involving Brandon’s mother and cervical cancer, which hit a particular tender spot for me, since my mom also suffered from that horrible disease and also cared more about her family than taking care of herself. So the idea that his mother didn’t want to inconvenience Brandon? Totally believable, but I loved the resolution to that - although I wouldn’t have minded more time getting to know Lorena. That’s just me.
This ‘verse continues to expand and thrive, and I’m am all in for it. If you’re in the mood for a romance that with excellent Latinx representation, by all means, Ms. Sol is not going to steer you wrong. But above all, this series is giving me what I want in my romance, period - couples that I connect with, and want to go on that HEA journey with them. If that’s something you’re looking for, then I think you may enjoy this.

I'm crying all the beautiful and ugly tears! This book about an events planner and celebrity restaurateur who have more than their share of complication after complication was fantastically glorious. I love it so so much.

Can I just say I wanted to hug this book tight and never let it go? This is my first Sabrina Sol book and I am completely surprised by how much I enjoyed it! The story's super cute and fun, sexy and dare I say emotional towards the last few chapters. Sabrina's narrative is so interesting that I couldn't put the book down even if I tried.
Brandon Montoya is at his prime of putting up another restaurant (his third one) but he couldn't seem to focus on that because they were having setbacks in the location and he's thinking of how to convince his mother to go to LA from Puerto Rico for her cancer to be treated. Until a sort of scandal the night he was with Daisy and almost something happened turned out to be an opportunity he wouldn't dare pass up. If Daisy agrees to be his fiancée.
Daisy isn't as successful as Brandon when it comes to business but she doesn't let that fact get in the way of her dreams to become a successful wedding planner. She's attracted to Brandon but him knowing this would only make his ego go big. But a successful event night and their guards down caught them off guard by how much things are simpler, comfortable and right–when they're not busy cutting the throat of one another.
Two weeks. That's how long they're going to pretend they're in love with each other so Brandon's mom could stay because his mom was very eager to meet her future daughter-in-law. In exchange of this, Brandon has to make Daisy meet Christian and Mira so she could business-talk them to getting her as their wedding planner. Christian and Mira's wedding is a big one and could be her career's stepping stone to plan celebrity weddings. I really liked this phase of their "relationship". They turned from enemies to fake lovers to friends because of the move that Brandon did for the sake of his mom's health. They got to know each other here very well, being friends–sometimes friends who'd kill one another–without sleeping together yet but you could feel they were just holding themselves back to not complicate matters.
While I really love Brandon, his dedication, loyalty and humor, I couldn't help loving Daisy's character more. She gave herself less credit when she's doing something like a huge deal for the people around her. She can put up a fight with Brandon though she really had this vulnerable side that she's hidden so well. I loved how she didn't force herself on Brandon and stood her ground for him to realize she wouldn't want to get in the way of his entrepreneurial dreams.
Brandon and Daisy's chemistry was electric even from the start. It helped that their bickering only intensified their connection. Nothing was rushed and they only got to have sex when it was about halfway of the story. And it was done tastefully–in a filthy sort of way. Haha!
I am glad that both characters have hidden depths inside them and the author has shown them all in flying colors. This gave them the layers I didn't expect they had in the beginning of the story. And it made me understand them in the right light. Brandon was a bit of a jerk in certain parts of the book which made me to smack his beautiful, arrogant face.
The story was loaded with Spanish stuff which I found very charming, laughter, hotness, right amount of heart-wrenching emotions and a whole heap of love, chemistry and many complication on top of every complication. I am seriously in love with everything about this book!
Delicious Complication has just secured a spot in my Top Faves of 2017! And we'll see if the next one (Brandon's lawyer and Brandon's twin sister) lives up to/exceeds its predecessor!

I'm a sucker for an enemies to lovers trope, and reading the synopsis for Delicious Complication I was absolutely sold. Sabrina Sol is a new to me author and I was looking forward to see if I had found myself a new author to read.
While I have definitely found myself a new author to follow, I can't say that I was blown away by this particular book. It was one of those light and sexy read that while being entertaining, also didn't offer anything I haven't read before. I enjoyed the banter and building chemistry between the hero and heroine, but at the same time I never fully connected to them as a couple. I could have done without a particular cliche being thrown in at the very end and I felt like the HEA was just a bit too....perfect. I suppose I'm just not a fan of after only a few weeks of really being together. I'm one of those cynical readers that really need to be sold on that. Would I recommend this book to readers? Absolutely! If you're looking for a sexy romance to spend an evening with, Sabrina Sol definitely gives that here. But having read as many Brazen titles as I have, I suppose I was just looking for something a little bit....more.

3.5 Obsessive compulsive charmer stars
Daisy Robles is an event planner, who finds herself in a tequila drinking, tonsil tickling situation with the annoyingly irritating Brandon Montoya, well known restauranteur and skirt chaser.
Her momentary lapse in judgement is captured for the tabloids. On publication, Brandon has the bright idea of luring his Mother to the city for life saving treatment, with the promise of a new daughter in law, as long as Daisy is up for the charade.
Daisy decides it’s a good idea, especially as she could use Brandon’s friends list as a leg up for her own business. Trouble is, how deep can your feelings lie when you’re pretending under the same roof, under your Mother’s nose?
This was an easy, cheeky, mushy read, that saw humorous banter masquerading as foreplay. Determined Daisy was a match for Brash Brandon, yet was completely turned by not only the beauty he was in cahoots with, but the seriousness of his Mother’s situation. Brandon was appealing, and coupled with the undemanding storyline, ensured my enjoyment right to the end.

Delicious Complication was a good read.
I enjoyed the storyline, the characters were likable and relatable and the chemistry between Daisy and Brandon was hot!
I loved watching Daisy and Brandon's relationship blossom, their story had me hooked from the first chapter. Once they shared their first kiss they both couldn't stop thinking about the other. It was fun seeing them move from casual business acquaintances to pretending they were engaged and totally in love:)
Overall this was a sweet enjoyable read that will leave you with a smile on your face and a heart full of happy feels.
The Delicious Desires series has been a very good read and I'm hoping we get to read Alex's story next ;)

I read like 60% of this and then skipped ahead to the end and uhhhh 1. Brandon’s the fucking WORST and like abusive and possessive and just the worst. 2. Daisy deserved better!!!!! What the fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could be a character in a book, I would want to be Daisy Robles. I know, total shocker, considering in the previous book, Delicious Temptation, I didn't like her. I didn't like Daisy so much that I was a little upset when I learned she was going to be Brandon Montoya's heroine. Honestly, saying I didn’t like Daisy is probably an understatement. I might have sent Sabrina Sol a message screaming that she was making a terrible mistake. But Sabrina told me I would like her and I really do.
In Delicious Temptation, Daisy rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t remember specifically, what it was about her, I just know I didn’t like her. It could have been the way she came off initially as being flighty when it came to jobs. It could have been how I thought she was a party girl drifting around from relationship to relationship. Or, it could have been the way she appeared to be witchy when she was only trying to watch out for her cousin Amara. Whatever my issue with Daisy was, I can honestly say I was wrong about her. Daisy is truly a caring person who would do anything for her family and friends. She has abandonment issues due to her shallow mother leaving her when she was seven. But her father means the world to her. Career wise, she just wants to do something she’s passionate about and not just get a paycheck.
Delicious Complication already had me because I was already crazy about Brandon Montoya. He's totally my kind of hero. He isn't as much of a dirty talker as other Brazen heroes but he has a strong sense of family. He would do anything for them and his friends. He works like crazy to take care of his mother and employees. He’s delusional about not needing a woman in his life. However, his playboy ways have groomed him perfectly to know how to wine and dine and please a woman. Brandon is a famous restaurateur of one of LA’s most popular restaurants. The tabloids love him and women flock to him.
While having drinks in a hotel bar, Brandon comes to Daisy’s aide when her ex and his fiancée (Daisy’s cousin) approach her. Brandon pretends to be Daisy’s boyfriend to make the exchange a little less painful for Daisy. Later, after a drunken tequila fueled make out session is photographed and sold to the press, the two are rumored to be married. This rumor goes all the way from Los Angeles to Puerto Rico to Brandon’s mother. Mrs. Montoya insists on flying out to meet her new daughter-in-law. Brandon convinces Daisy to play the role of his loving fiancée to get his mother to come and get the treatments she needs. In exchange, Brandon will introduce Daisy to a certain celebrity, with the hopes of planning their wedding and increasing the exposure of her event planning business.
Their charade requires them to spend a lot of time together. A newly engaged, loving couple must after all, hold hands and kiss from time to time. Of course, their no contact arrangement goes out the window when their attraction becomes too much. It doesn’t help that their charade has to be extended longer than originally planned.
I loved Brandon and Daisy together. Initially they had what appeared to be a love/hate relationship, but that was hiding their attraction to each other. They have smoking hot chemistry inside and outside of the bedroom. The two actually become friends and truly care about each other. With the help of their families, they realize that a little complication is no big deal at all.
Delicious Complication is a standalone read. However, I’m happy to say my issue with Delicious Temptation ending in a happy for now ending gets resolved. While I’m massively in love with Delicious Complication, it has a different feel from its predecessor. Delicious Temptation was all about Mexican American stereotypes and culture. I found that refreshing and a nice change from the books I usually read. Outside of mentioning tres leches cupcakes, asopao, and some Spanish words or phrases, there wasn’t much of a different cultural feel to the story.
I seriously, seriously loved this book! Brandon and Daisy’s journey towards love was beautiful. I loved that Sabrina didn’t take the easy way out by making the story predictable in the way I thought she would go. If I could dream up a romance and make it real, Delicious Complication would be in my top five. Did I mention I would love to be Daisy? Now...Brandon has a twin sister name Alexa and a friend name Dante, I think they should definitely be a couple. I can totally see sparks flying between these two.

I'm always a slut for hate to love relationships. And when they're coupled with fake-engagement... Ayyyyy.
Really did not appreciate the ending of it . But the series as a whole is a lot of fun though at this point I do not feel it brings up much to the table in terms of plot.
BUT! It features Mexican culture and food!! The characters are strong, badass latinas!!!

Brandon and Daisy can hardly stand to be in the same room without going for each others throats. Is it any wonder when these two finally give into their secret desires for one another they tear off each others clothes with the same amount of passion they put into their arguments. Daisy and Brandon's story was a joy to read. I love a story where the characters , try as the might, just can't stay away form each other. The chemistry between these two was so explosive that they had no other choice but to give in to their supposedly unwanted desires. If you're looking for a romantic read that's not your traditional love at-first-sight, but definitely lust at-first-sight, you should certainly check out Delicious Complication. I give this one 4 ❤❤❤❤ !

Author Sabrina Sol's Delicious Complication is a clever title to a novel that kept me entertained from beginning to end. This book draws you in immediately, and the entertaining story continuously enthralls with each and every moment. The two primary characters, event planner Daisy Roblesh, and celebrity restaurateur Brandon Montoya, have lustful chemistry, and their relationship is satiated with loathing, compassion, desire, and love. Ms. Sol is a very good storyteller and I can't wait to read the next book from her Delicious Desires series.
As a result of their mutual attraction and a few shots of very expensive tequila, Daisy and Brandon share some extremely hot kisses, which are captured forever on film by one of Brandon's former disgruntled employees. The tabloids splash the photo on social media and print, where Brandon's sick mother sees it. He uses the article accompanying the photo to his advantage, convincing his mother to come to Los Angles for treatment, and to also meet his fiancee, which is the real grabber. Now all he has to do is persuade Daisy to pretend to be his short-term fiancee. I am a huge fan of Sabrina Sol's Delicious Desires' because I'm able to connect with the characters on a cultural level. I happen to be half Hispanic and I'm only close to my Mexican family. I also live in Los Angele's so I was able to connect with the area the book was located. Brandon and Daisy's relationship is rocky in the beginning. The both have an undeniable attraction toward one another. They also enjoy fighting and bickering with one another. Brandon is perfectly content with his no commitment or long term entanglements. While Daisy has been burned repeatedly and is still looking for every little girls dream. Brandon is everything Daisy doesn't want in a life partner, no matter how drop dead gorgeous he is. Things become extremely complicated when a tiny make out session gets blown out of portion and ends up in the headlines. Word get back to Brandon's mother, who Brandon's been trying to get to the states for medical treatments. Brandon's mother is elated to learn her son is in committed relationship and is ready to come to Californian to meet her future daughter-in-law. One slight problem, Daisy and Brandon aren't even dating. Brandon sees the opportunity to get his mother the medical attention she needs. Now he has to convince Daisy to help him out for a little while. Unfortunately things don't go the way either one of them expected. This book was so good I just couldn't put it down until I finished. Now I'm anticipated the next book in the series. I don't want it to end. This book was a solid 5 stars.

This was my first time reading Sabrina Sol and I found myself impressed with her writing and the story. I didn't read the first book in the series, but it wasn't that hard to determine that Daisy and Brandon aren't exactly friends.
I enjoyed watching the relationship between Daisy and Brandon change over the course of the book; they each had their reasons for going through with the charade, but what was supposed to be a two-week deal suddenly became a lot longer once Brandon's mother made it to L.A. for treatment. Even though they might have had an antagonistic relationship, that was merely an illusion covering up how they really felt about each other, even if they didn't want to admit it or even acknowledge it.
Even though we know how the story will turn out, it was great to see that their relationship wasn't built solely on how much sexual chemistry there is between them (although that chemistry is hella hot and sexy), but I liked that we got to see their friendship evolve, and that they really did get along and care for each other. Somewhere along the way, priorities change for Brandon, but he doesn't seem to realize it, or even the specific reason for the change. There is some requisite drama for Daisy and Brandon, but they do get their HEA. I will, however, be impatiently waiting for Dante's and Alexa's story, I have a feeling it's going to be another good read.

Delicious Complication is the 2nd book in Sabrina Sol's Delicious Desires series and Daisy is the sassy , fiery event planner who is trying to get her business off the ground with just 1 event to her name while Brandon is a highly successful restaurateur is the hot and hunky restaurateur who is the “IT” guy on the scene right now and everyone knows who he is. The two met when Daisy helped her best friend, a baker, sell pastries to Brandon's restaurants. They met , and it was like oil and water mixed- they do NOT get along- not at first. Things change when they run into each other at a hotel and then after complications arise from a situation that occurred, Brandon decides to use Daisy to get his mom over to the US for medical treatment. And this is where the story takes a dip for me. I felt there was a lot of heat for me and the characters were electric with each other but this is where after they introduced the mom issue is where the story started going haywire and then started getting odd. Also it would slow down and then speed up. The story did end on a good note but still the story needed the flow to go better than what they had to come with for the story to flow better . I did like the MC but some of the plot storylines didn’t make sense.

Wonderful. What starts as an agreement ends as a beautiful love story. Daisy and Brandon have a love/hate relationship. They have serious chemistry going on, but Daisy doesn’t want to be another notch on Brandon’s bedpost. What starts as a two-week arrangement quickly turns much longer. Daisy and Brandon are both fighting their feelings. Daisy doesn’t believe she is enough to change Brandon’s ways. She is very conflicted about her emotions and doubts herself. Brandon knows how he feels but when it is time for the words, they come out horribly wrong and he feels he has ruined his chance. I love the relationship between Brandon and his mother. He is a really hot mama’s boy, but it definitely works for him. Daisy’s mom is a real piece of work. Her relationship with her dad is great. The story is very well written and flows effortlessly. The detail put into this story is amazing. I am very much looking forward to more from this author.

I liked the previous book, but I liked this one even better.
Daisy and Brandon had great chemistry, and even when they denied their attraction, it was there all the time. They thought they could have something easy and then move on, but the more they get to know each other, the more they realized they wanted more in life.
I liked both Daisy and Brandon, with him proving to be much more than met the eye.
It was a great read, with hotness, romance ad even a little bit f suspense.

An awesome read that had me completely entertained from beginning to end! A bottle of tequila and one hot make out session will have a huge impact on both Brandon Montoya and Daisey Robles when it hits the tabloids. Well nothing a little damage control can fix. That is until Brandon realizes that a "fake relationship" may be the only way he can get his mother to leave her beloved Puerto Rico and come to LA for medical attention she desperately needs. Now to convince Daisey to go along with his plan....
This is a fun, sexy read that is filled with witty banter, family love and dedication, and some truly delicious sexy times. I definitely recommend it.

What a great read! Absolutely loved it. Its a perfect mix of comedy and romance, beautifully written and great plot.
It was very simple plan. Brandon wants his mother to get better and to make it happen he needs Daisy's help. She was good enough person to agree, it was supposed to be two weeks' engagement but then things didn't go according to their plan. They both end up falling for each other and things got complicated. Now how will they resolve these complications is be an interesting story to read about...

As compared to the first book in this series, I liked the second one much better. The story was very genuine and the characters more relatable. Where the first seemed smutty the second was more romantic and tasteful. The plot too was very endearing due to Brandon and Daisy's backgrounds. Now I look forward to Alexa's and (if I guessed correctly) Dante's story.

"There's something to be said about eating food in the place where it originated. I've been all over the world and there's nothing like having Coq Au Vin in France or Pizza Margarita in Italy or even beignets in New Orleans. And, for me, Puerto Rico is my mamá's asopao."
Thankfully, this book had some good qualities that made it a three stars, but it's definitely a lower three stars than normal. There are a lot of things that prevented me from hating this book even though it had some of the tropes that I loathe the most. As with the first book, my favourite part was how the latinx culture intertwined with everything that was happening and it was definitely less than in the first book but fortunately we get a lot of Latin American food and descriptions that made this delicious (see what I did there?). It was also extremely funny sometimes and super sexy. I love the fake relationship and the hate to love tropes so I can't complain about that and they definitely made their development as a couple a lot sexier and more interesting to read. I love how different Daisy is from Amira but how much they share ideals as well. I can't say I was blown away by this book for the reasons that I'm going to talk about later but Sabrina Sol is an author that I'm going to keep reading because her books are so easy to devour.
The first thing that caught my attention is how Brandon was a very complex character and interesting to follow because we don't know much about him but I just couldn't stand him when he was talking during or before sex. His dirty talk definitely needed some work since most things sounded super cringy to me. Especially when he talked about his penis in third person. I also couldn't stand how he would say the most stereotypical telenovela things in spanish like "quiero devorarte" and I don't know if it's because spanish is my first language but if someone would say anything like that to me I would run away super fast. Another thing that bothered me is a thing that Daisy said in one of the first chapters, about how Brandon is an OCC (an obsessive compulsive charmer) and that seemed a bit insensitive and ableist to me because obsessive compulsion is not a term that you should use to describe a playboy (unless he actually has OCD). Also, there were some times were Daisy would say no to Brandon and he wouldn't go away. At one point he even said "sooner or later, every guy reached his limit". Like, your limit should be just the one time she said no and you go away. I also hated every time he remarked how wet Daisy was like, we get it, she's super hot for you but it seemed super porn-y to me.
Now I'm going to talk about some of the things that happen at the end of the book so... spoiler alert! I usually reach my breaking point with characters getting pregnant just to further the plot along. It makes me roll my eyes and I can't get on board with it. Especially when the couple is fighting and the baby is obviously going to solve all their problems. Also, Amira said that keeping it was the right decision when there is no right decision, especially when you barely have a job and your career is just taking off. But my actual breaking point was the marriage proposal after only a couple of months of being together (or pretending to be together). Was that really necessary? Anyway, there were some things I enjoyed and as you can see, a lot of things that I didn't enjoy but like I said, Sabrina Sol made me care so much about these characters that I can't wait to read the other book in the series.

I liked it. Daisy was awesome and I liked that she gave as good as she got. You don't see that too much in books, a woman who can hold her own against a cocky man that is. She was straight forward and didn't play any childish games. She was comfortable with her sexuality in a way that was classy. She didn't flaunt her body and tease a man she barely knew by rubbing herself on him like a dog in heat. She didn't stumble everywhere and lose her ability to speak like an idiot because she was attracted to a man. Her panties didn't magically become wet at the sight of a good looking man, she didn't have to clench her thighs together because she was so horny from just the thought of said man's d*ck. She held herself in high regard and it was refreshing to see a confident and put together woman whose mind wasn't always on sex. Brandon was ok but I've seen much more deserving men who deserve the title hero. He had his moments when you just wanted to slap some sense into him. He did come around in the end but it sure took him a while, he was a little slow, mentally, because he couldn't get it together for Daisy. I still feel like he has a long way to go in order to be on the same page as her.
It was a nice read to pass the time but I will be honest and say I don't see myself reading it again. Brandon and Daisy were fun to read but I felt like by the end of the book they still hadn't come full circle as a relationship. They had great chemistry when it came to sex but they lacked a bond that pulled them together as two people in love. What upset me, was that it wasn't on Daisy's part at all, it was all Brandon. He was always the one always pulling back, reminding her that what they had was business, and yet she got called out by her friend and her father that she needs to tell him she loves him like it was her fault he left. She didn't tell him to leave, she said he could continue to go on as he usually does in his life and that he's more than welcome to be in their child's life. She didn't ask him to choose between work and a baby because she didn't want to force him into a relationship he didn't want or a sexual/domestic/business arrangement. She didn't demand that he put his dreams on hold for a baby he didn't plan on. She told him she was pregnant, she didn't want to be in a forced relationship with him simply because they were having a baby, and left the ball in his court on what he wanted to do.
He had to decide what he wanted, he wasn't exactly forthcoming in how he felt about her, so I don't blame her for not wanting to put herself out there and tell him that she loved him. Specifically because she knows him, he would have freaked out and ran running far away from her regardless. He wasn't dedicated to her the way she was to him. He couldn't even wrap his around the fact that he cared and loved her because he was a coward. Daisy knew her feelings and made it known through her actions, Brandon however, always seemed to mess everything up by opening his mouth and every possible wrong thing he could say, he did. He was afraid and he only realized what he'd lost and given up on when everything went wrong with his new restaurant. That was his wake up call, he had to fly across the country and not have her in his life in order to see what he'd be missing out on and to get his sh*t together.
I'm glad that it was him who went to her but I wish she would have held out and not forgiven him right away. He needed to be taught a lesson. Their separation wasn't her fault, it was his, and to be told that she should go to him didn't sit with me very well. The nerve to say that maybe he left because she didn't make her feelings for him known is crap. He left because he was a coward and didn't want to change his lifestyle. He left because he was scared and that's not on her to fix. It's his mistake to make up for and show that he wants her, not just for the baby. I almost feel as if authors make it a point to have family and friends who are self-righteous and push the heroine to forgive or ask for a man's forgiveness when in reality it doesn't work that way. We're not perfect and when our friend or family member is hurt, we don't push them back into a relationship with the person who hurt them, especially if they were the one wronged. We do everything possible to keep them away from that person. I can see if she was being completely ridiculous and telling him if he left he'd never see his child or if she told him to leave out of spite and refused to go to him when she came to her senses. That I can understand, but she didn't do those things and he was the one always reinforcing walls to protect himself and setting boundaries for her not to cross.
I did enjoy the majority of the story so it wasn't a complete loss but I won't put myself through the wringer by reading this again. It was nice, but just not for me, and I mean that in the nicest way. There are certain things I can't have in books and this happens to be one of them. Al principio empezó un poco como el pasado, en el que los personajes van de 0 a 100 en una pelea pero todo se fue calmando y pudimos seguir la linda historia de Daisy y Brandon y su matrimonio falso. Fue lindo ver como que iban queriendo y apreciando, la autora dice más de lo que muestra las situaciones que hacían que está pareja fuera más que el sexo pero también hubo varios momentos en los que podías verlos entablando una relación. Lo que más me gustó fue después del big fight y como lo solucionaron.
Lo recomiendo si quieren una lectura rápida y linda llena de steamy scenes!

4 Platypires for Delicious Complication by Sabrina Sol
After reading, Delicious Temptations and instantly devouring it. I had to have my next fix and I was not disappointed with Delicious Complication. It was just like the first book and I could not put it down.
Delicious Complication is book 2 in the Delicious Desires series but it can be read as a stand-alone novel. Like its predecessor, it's another sexy, hot read that does not disappoint. I liked the fact that the Hispanic culture was added to the mix but it was not the center of the story. It was an added mix to the overall drama.
Overall, this was a good story and I would recommend it.

So I liked this one a little more than the first book. Daisy isn’t as bubble-headed in this one as she was in the last. She seems way more put together and on top of things. I liked the chemistry between her and Brandon. It was really obvious and they were sexy as hell together. I totally figured out where things were headed in this book, but that didn’t diminish the enjoyment of the book any. I liked Brandon’s sister Alexa in this book and I look forward to seeing what is in store for her in book three.
