He's zany! He's endearing! He's one-of-a-kind Johnny Mutton, the lovable sheep who thinks he's a boy.
Now Johnny's back with even more wacky and heartwarming comic adventures. Whether he's playing a game of hide-and-seek with an unexpected surprise, attemping a new world record, or failing "manners" classes, Johnny will tickle your funny bone--and leave you wondering just what he'll think of next.
James Proimos has yet to rescue a small human from a river, but he has written and illustrated many books for them. James splits his time between Los Angeles and Middleburg, Virginia.
mutton soup by james proimos i chose this book because it is short and it look funny in the beginning of the book jhonny mom send jhonny to a manners expert ms. bottom then they throw him out and he felt bad so came home with manners then he try to brake a record and ride a rolocoster 250 time but got scard yea i like this book because it remindes me of me when i am bad to leona and she sends ne to chris and i come back respectful and i do my work i dont recomend it because it is to short and u can finish it in 5 minutes but it is a good book i think a 3rd grader should read it it is perfect for them i plan on reading the dripping fand series
3 1/2 stars. Great for Captain-Underpants-loving readers, but shorter. Is it a GN, is it a picture book? I'm not sure, but I don't think it's an easy reader. It'd probably fit best in the children's GN section of a library. I snickered and laughed quietly out loud at this myself, and I loved all the foods with cherries on the top, in between the very short chapters.
Johnny is as silly in this story as in his other adventures. perfect for those who enjoy other stories about this character. illustrations are visually simplistic.
