A Simple way to Decrease your HTN & Lose Weight at the same time with DASH
I was looking for something that was SIMPLE to help with my weight and my blood pressure (BP) started creeping up. My cholesterol has been good, I am lucky. My story starts when due to medical I was unable to walk since December, hence weight gain, depression, and recover, did I mention three different insurance companies. I found this book DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension( HTN) )which made it simple. My son is out of the house it is me and my husband and our 4 dogs. So I spoke to him he had seen doctor who is concerned because he does not like medicine and he has family history of bad genes and bad cholesterol and triglycerides numbers. So I decided to start the process. Remember it can be as much or as little as you choose. SMART GOALS and suggestions that are Smart (Specific, Measurable Attainable, Relevant, and Timely) Fire a kiss there comes a time we s tart to look at life differently so this is why the DASH lifestyle is a change in the way we live not another diet.
The book gives you 3 stages of the plan.
