Before she became Oracle, Barbara Gordon protected Gotham City as the one and only Batgirl! Witness her stunning origin in this never-before-told story taking place in the BATMAN: ARKHAM universe!

I usually read my digital comics on Comixology but sometimes, some platforms have exclusives like this Batgirl Begins one-shot.
It's presented in the panoramic format that has become the standard for most digital comics. The story is great, easy read that hearkens to classic Batgirl stories.
The main plot is how Batgirl, the young Barbara Gordon started to fight with the villaons from Gotham for Batman unfortunate. One of her endemica will be Harley Quinn who has just become joker's sidekick and wanted to impress him.
IMPRESSIONS
Such an wonderful comic about the one and only Harley quinn and the badass Batgirl, a character that i've just started to read about! Definetlly love it! The graphic was wonderfully done and the story about the begining of these two Dc girls was amazing. Although I was familiar with the story of HQ from other comics, it was pretty fun to see it in this version.
Not a full rating because I wanted more development about Batgirl, like about her thoughts. I saw Funny jokes and cool dialogue from her but i can't say why she is that keen on becoming a crime fighter.
Talking about the second main character and one of my favourites Dc characters, Harley Quinn, it was easier to understand her and her thoughts Because she was more extrovertit.
Anyways, a enjoyed to see the begining of them as crime-fighter and crime Queen and it was near to be perfect but I read better books and comics and the development drag the rating down with one star(not a really big deal though).
CONCLUSION
I recomand this if you want something with a cool story, powerful girls and some action and crimes this is the perfect comic!🃏
Ms. Gordon is the Commissioner’s daughter. As she works at the library, she checks on Batman’s whereabouts. She’s a big fan.
Drury Walker is waiting on some old Batman press clippings to be electronically uploaded. He’s rather eccentric.
The city is endeavoring to discredit The Batman, and they’re holding an event to attempt to do so. Even local celebrities, like Jack Ryder and Kate Kane, will be in attendance.
Omg…the mayor looks exactly like Chris Christie. 💀
But the Killer Moth crashes the gala—and delivers a manifesto-like speech.
Apparently Ms. Gordon has some bad-ass fighting skills.
Adequate, with a decent ending. Not the most compelling story; a touch basic.
First episode. A bit predictable. But reimaging Barbara Gordon and Batgirl for 2015 is well done. Artwork is nice. Nathan's appearance is a fun twist. Worth my time reading.
Dc comics freebie. Suitable for teens, marked T for teens. Good color artwork. A brief intro to Barbara Gordon before she becomes Oracle. Against the Killer Moth.
This was a very short story and I am afraid that it didn't even add much to the story of the game that it is supposed to be about. The writing and the art are nice.
This comic book reminds me of the DC's I read when a kid. This graphic stuff is a throwback to its predecessors. And it's fun stuff, this. It can be said about Seeley is he's no Tomasi but he'll do. That he's no Tomasi indicates his creative genius? Perhaps. Decide for yourself. Yet deny Seeley succeeds in his creation of an old-school and see how far that gets you. His ability to create the old-school sound and sense is demonstrated well. Evidence of this is displayed with the sudden appearance of The Moth. Instantly, the story's dynamic modifies -- in this case in a campy way. And the conception of Batgirl is done just enough. The style of this comic is one in which the reader must make a few assumptions so enjoying is possible. Batgirl as a crime fighter extends Batman"s crime fighting reach, though he discourages her at pursuing her mission. To her the idea of Batman transcends the man for to her he is no mortal but a presence for justice and order. Listen to what she says, and I paraphrase: He's no mere man but more. Omnipresent, Batman knows everything there is to know. Sounds like a god, does he not the way Batgirl describes him -- or is it Him to her? As Batgirl kicks butt her on- going monologue tells you about herself as she makes a running commentary about her opponent. That is an old-school style of DC comic storytelling used towards entertaining the reader with a cleanly concise storyline that ends at the point you want more. To get more you have to buy the comic book.
This was a quick, cute read. The art is pretty acceptable and the storyline is a crisp one-shot introduction of Batgirl. No frills or excessive detailing, just a nice tie-in to the game; a bonus for the die hard fans of both the Arkham games and Batgirl.
An amazing origins introduction with Batgirl and how she started becoming the amazing crime fighting Batgirl. Check this one out if your a fan of the Batman universe.
If you are a fan of the Arkham games and want to know how Barbara became Batgirl then check this out, an enjoyable and quick read I would recommend it to fans of the games and the comic tie ins
It is really amazing especially with the interactive pages. It's short but really amazing. I recommend this book to all graphic novel lovers and action lovers.
