4.75 "Hunter will hunt" stars
Once more I was stunned by the action/passion turmoil of the usurping collision that transferred between the main characters...after being shocked by the ending of the second book, third book brought a new wave of whiplash...as things will escalate to the points one can't come back from.
After a devastating notion that Tessa is no longer here, that she was never going to be his to hold, to stand by his side as his mate, concubine, forever love, Marko is shattered in his own darkness, BUT the pieces of memories are missing and they are slowly coming back as flashbacks...instant images of blurred events that are torturing him...and he's set on clearing them...
he wants to see her body...
BUT her body is nowhere to be found on the premises...cause Tessa isnt there any longer.
Aetas, the leader of Vampire race, the most powerful of them all has his own agenda and it envolves Tessa as she is, after all, the most crucial missing link to the powerful line.

I don’t know how she’s been able to do it but every book in this series gets better and better. I’m in love with this world and these characters. Alaska has taken me on an EPIC journey that I don’t want to ever end.
Rule starts where Lure left off this series needs to be read in order. This book kicked my ass since the very first book it’s been able to play in my mind like a movie and I feel like I’m watching from a dark corner like a creepy fangirl stalker. This one for sure had my emotions all over the place. I went from feeling crushed and heartbroken to oh thank god and then to oh crap what’s gonna happen next then to happy and elated and sometimes thinking I need help because I’m finding joy in the torture of others. I felt like I needed to up my bipolar meds for how fast this rollercoaster had me with emotional whiplash.
I can not say it enough how much I freaking LOVE Marko and Tessa I love how badass they both are and I’m sporting a serious lady boner for them both. And once again Alaska left me at the end going OHHHH DAAAMMMN shit is about to blow up. Now I’m left like a crack addict waiting for my next fix of this seriously epic story.

Have you read book 1-3 of Marko and Tessa's story? If not, stop and go read those or you will be lost once you open this book.
Ok, now that I've gotten that out of the way...This installment is just amazing. With some authors, after the first couple books in a series they just seem to kind of sizzle out like they can't come up with anything else to keep the reader engrossed any further. Alaska has no problem with that here. Infact, even though each book is bringing us closer to the final chapters of Tessa and Marko's story, it's like Alaska finds new ways to take my emotions and completely shatter them with these characters to only turn around and give me hope. The characters are unlike any that I've read about and possibly my favorite from any book she has wrote. I just have no clue where we will end up when this story is over and that makes me so happy. I love being suprised and she has most definetly kept me on my toes. This is a must read series. Now give us more greatness Alaska ;)

Alaska Angelini constantly amazes me. Marko's world is so detailed, so dark and dangerous, I feel what I assume Alice must have felt in Wonderland; the landscape is vaguely familiar, but the rules are unknown and leave you off kilter.
Rule is an emotional rollercoaster that had me reaching for the tissues one moment, and having to stop myself from throwing my kindle at the wall in the next. I finished it in one sitting and I'm now sitting here like a junkie awaiting my next fix.
Forget everything you know about vampires; Alaska Angelini takes an overplayed genre and creates an amazing new world of conspiracy, lust, power and betrayal.
Do yourself a favor, and read the Marko Delacroix series.... find out who had what it takes to Rule.

This is book four in the series and the author gives you the perfect description.
Wow! This book is so freakin' awesome! The story line is amazing, it keeps your interest so you can't wait to find out what the heck is going to happen next! The characters are truly fascinating, keeping you on the edge of your seat and waiting to see what they will do! Alaska Angelini has created the perfect vampire world in vivid detail. I can see it play out as it takes you on a dark and dangerous journey into an underworld of darkness.
I love this whole series and can't wait for the next book!

Alaska has done an amazing job of telling Marko, Tessa & Hunter's story!! I have been sucked into their world and can't wait until the release of Reign (Marko Delacroix #5).

Y'all, the pooh hits the fan in this one. Oh Lawd does the pooh fly but it's not over. Noooooooo oh no oh NO. I feel more hungover now than I did the last night I got drunk. That was 10 years ago after drinking 9 tall glasses of cranberry juice and vodka with a side of Jaegermister, a whole flipping bottle of it. Let me tell you something. The throwing up all night followed by the body aches and massive headache the next day is NOTHING compared to what I feel now. I need Reign NOW. More like needed it YESTERDAY. FML. This series is INCREDIBLE. It NEEDS to be a movie or an HBO series. Wow. Mind freaking blown. Bravo Alaska, bravo.

This dark and seductive series has me panting for more!! I just can't get enough of Tessa and Marko. The Black Princess is dead and Marko is in mourning but no one can tell him the events that happened after her death. He remembers very little but he still feels his beloved. How can that be? Is she a ghost or is his love for her just that strong, or maybe she survived. Marko has so much going through his mind when it comes to the day he was supposed to be bound to his beloved Tessa but no one has answers.

I cannot express how much I've enjoyed this series so far! I love how freakin awesome Tessa is as a vampire. This book definitely toyed with my emotions. Tessa and Marco have me in their corner hoping they can rise above the rest together. This series gets darker and darker. I cannot wait to see what else Alaska has planned for Tessa, Marco and Hunter!

I love Alaska's paranormal writing style. The spins she puts on this series make it far more captivating then so many others I've read. I've been completely sucked in, like I'm right there and it's here in the real world and it's just intense!
I am dying to get to the conclusion of this series however I will be sad for it to end....what a ride!

If your into vampires being romantic..well this series, theses vampires are ruthless. They kill their food ,even though they don't have to. They play with their food when they feel like it. NOT NICE VAMPIRES!!! I can't tell you much about book 4 because there are to many surprises and revelations. But I can tell you ,,,, it's AWESOME as always. I think this series became bigger and badder then even the author thought it was going to be. BUUTTT!!! You'll have to start with book 1. And yes,,, I know badder isn't a word.

This series was the best Dark I've read in a long time. I couldn't put it down. I went straight through reading all five books. I'm so glad that I came across them when it was finished. I did not want to wait to read even one book in this series. It was that good. It wasn't a fairytale by any means. The journey was rough edges with soft spots thrown in and I enjoyed it all. The ending was perfect. Even after it ended, I wanted more. First time reading from from this author but won't be the last.

This series just keeps getting better and better! I'm soooo thrilled with the magic of this book. Alaska Angelini described the emotions so well, I was able to easily sympathize and picture the imagery she was creating. Such a beautiful love story! I cannot wait to read more about Tessa and Marko's epic love story.

The ending of book 3 was painful, so the start of this book means Marko's pain hurts, him and us the reader.
Another fab instalment that kept me wondering what was gonna happen next.
So much happens that it's hard to say much without spoilers. I will say there is emotion, passion, power, blood and a want for revenge on many sides.
Time to dive into the last book.

I'm speechless! This book is a masterclass in plot twists - I swear, every time I thought I knew what was going on, another bombshell dropped! It's like the author is playing a game of literary whiplash with the reader! No spoilers from me, though - this book is too amazing to ruin!

More like a 4.5. This has been a very dark, intense and crazy story, the authors imagination is very good and I would hate to suffer her nightmares. As the last book is before me, I'm not sure what ending I'm hoping for. I have loved, hated and cheered for all of the main players since I started the series but I'm sure there's to be some crazy surprises as this draws to a close.

Wow...Just wow!! So may twist and turns. I can't count how many times I thought, "This cannot be happening" and just when you think thing are going to finally work out...another twist! I will not leave any spoilers as this book is to good to do that you really need to read!!
