You know what they say,, “You can take the girl out of the street, but you can’t take the street out of the girl.”
The Hemphill family is in for the ride of their life with the court case and other unknown issues they will soon have to face. Is church really over? Will they finally get to the benediction of this story?
As this series went it did get a little bit better. It was a lot of twist and turn. The reason why I'm giving it 3 stars because in the middle of the story it switch up what point of view the author was writing in because of this it made it hard for me to follow along.
These church members have really lost sight of the meaning of Christ. This book was kind of hard to follow because of grammatical, spelling, and punctuation. Sometimes, I didn't know who was talking and would have to back up to follow the storyline. Proofread before publishing.
Derrick has some issues and skeletons in his closet & so does his family. They are willing to kill to keep from going to prison. The funny thing is one is an Elder and the other is trying to get assigned as a Deacon in the church. Their lifestyle and God's plan will bring everything to fruition.
This book was very hard to put down. Book 1, 2, 3. All the chain of events into the court trial in book 3 was absolutely mind blowing. Derrick and his father was CRAZY. The crooked father and his shin an a gan's was too much. But love prevailed, in the mist of blackmail, murder and lies. Excellent read Shona
When Church is Over 3 by Shona Robinson…excellent job again!!!! A wonderful ending of lies, deceit, betrayal, and one must remember the truth will come out. What goes in the wash will come out in the rinse…Good job Shona!!!! Sad that church is over….
I rated this book a 5 star because this book has a lot of love of what a family should be like. This book is about every day stones that's in our lives. I recommend this book to every family member.
